They had the part I required to fix a Kitchen light.
Delivery was longer than I hoped for (7 days).
The customer service, however, was great.
After contacting them regarding the delay they got straight on it and called direct to let me know what was going on. Received my order the following day. Overall I was very pleased. :)

Poor service, no knowledge of what they were selling. No help at all. Won’t be using again.

Always a great company to deal with. 1 of many company accounts at electrical wholesalers but easily our go-to.

I ordered 7PM Thursday. It’s changed from order before 8PM to 6PM for next day delivery. I clicked free delivery for the Saturday, somehow it defaulted to pre 12, probably as the branches shut at 12, even though it was delivered to home. I didn’t need it £19.99 quickly! And I didn’t notice on checkout and just click click clicked u til the invoice came in! I’m an account customer and there was no way to amend order at CEF online. I went in the branch Friday morning, they called but was told it had been dispatched. Really? Already dispatched at 8AM?
Product and delivery fine, but £20 for pre noon when I didn’t need it was a blow.

Great product, great price, fast delivery.

This was my first online purchase using cef and everything went smoothly with the correct parts arriving the next day as advised, I was able to track the parts from dispatch. Very pleased

I went in to the Falkirk branch, the sales advisor informed me (as expected) it's not a stock item but it was something they can and are happy to order in however delivery priority is given to the customers rather than the branch, it would be a faster delivery if I ordered it. I did need one of the items quickly so opted to order myself. Ordered around 4:30 pm and it was delivered by 12 a day and a half later. Excellent. Product is also fantastic quality and price. Thank you

Ordered 6mm solar cable & 2x pair MC4 connectors; sadly only on pair in box with cable. Quick phone call to customer service (Sue?) who registered issue, followed up with a call back from Chris who authorised dispatch of missing MC4 pair at 1630 Friday. Arrived on doorstep at 0945 Monday.

Arrived 2 days late, charged for next day delivery and all I got was ‘it was sent to the wrong depot’

I actually waited to see how and possible how long the product lasts. I think from my experience they could be selling durable items comparing their products with the ones I have been buying from others.

The site is fine, its the delivery service that needs sorting out, it will come late or not even turn up, imagine, sitting at site and waiting, telling the customer the job will be done, just to tell them it won't because only box 1 of 2 has been delivered
