AKKO is the best

This is my third time using AKKO insurance for one of my electronics, and once again, they exceeded expectations. My iPhone was having trouble connecting to the internet, and the claims process was incredibly smooth, just like before. I got my phone repaired and received my reimbursement within just 3 days of opening the claim fast, easy, and reliable every time.

Terrible Customer Service

Terrible Customer Service
My phone was lost while camping. I had to go find a place with internet to contact them. It was a very hot uncomfortable place. They would not call me so I could go somewhere else. They were aware. She spent over an hour on chat with me accomplishing nothing. She wanted me to file online, but their website wouldn't take my info. Had to send her screenshots and she no idea what was wrong. Eventually she just stopped responding. Then I got back and forth email with them and they keep asking for more and more things. Why not all at once, so I could take care of it? This process started Wednesday, it's now Friday before a 3-day weekend. Hopefully I'll be able to get a phone on Tuesday, but the way their going I doubt it. I'm supposed to go on another trip on Friday. I hope I have a phone by then because I can't go without one.
I posted the above before I was approved for my claim. I got an email stating that they would not approve the claim unless I took down the review. So, I did, but now that everything is done, I am reposting it. This is a good TERRIBLE company! Do not do business with them.
I finally received the claim the following Tuesday.

Had an excellent experience with Akko

Had an excellent experience with Akko. We submitted our first claim the other day. We didn't realize we needed to contact them before having the repair made. They were very understanding and made a one-time exception and still processed the claim! They could have absolutely denied the whole thing given their policy, but they went the extra mile, and you rarely see that these days. Recommended.

AKKO is worth the money

I followed all of the steps to get my phone onto the insurance. Be sure to read all of the rules and what they need before you can be confident that your phone is covered. I just lost my phone, and I got my pay out within 4 days, which is incredible speed and was a very easy process. I would recommend this to anyone, but you cant get mad at AKKO if you do not follow their instructions.

On point despite delays

Response times weren’t bad despite the delay they said they were sorry for. They were very informative, professional, and offered great assistance. Definitely recommend using this service. Don’t know any like it.

Perfect coverage!

I've had Akko for about 5 years now and every year it seems like I need to use it for one reason or the other. The claim process was fast and easy. Response time from the initial claim was fast (less than 24 hours) and the next steps in the claim process were explained clearly which made the claim completion go smoothly.

Great service and value from AKKO

I purchased an extended warranty on a recumbent elliptical that I purchased last November.

Something happened and it stopped working. I filed a claim with AKKO and They authorized a repair company to come out and give an estimate, and then repair.

The machine was repaired, and I received the funds within a week of the repair.

This company is an absolute scam

This company is an absolute scam. STAY AWAY! First my TV screen started going out... 3 months after filing a claim and submitting the video as requested, nothing. Then my Motorola razr flip 2024 screen bleeds out, and they refuse to help because I can't show them in a video my IMEI. How on earth am I supposed to show an IMEI on the phone with a broken screen? Scam artists to the fullest. Stay away, don't throw your hard earned money at these clowns.

Had an LCD malfunction on my Samsung…

Had an LCD malfunction on my Samsung Frame TV and AKKO made the entire claims process incredibly easy. Communication was fast and clear, and I received my payout much quicker than expected. It’s refreshing to deal with an insurance company that actually delivers on service. Highly recommend!

Akko is one of the best products of…

Akko is one of the best products of this type that I've ever dealt with. For the price of regular cell phone insurance you, you get so much more. I've filed more than one claim with them and it has been very straight forward and the paid me (less my deductible) instantly once I had submitted my receipt

For the most part a positive experience. Communications were not the fastest, and the amount they paid including adjusting for the deductible on the phone was less than it cost me to purchase a refurbished replacement, still happy overall with the experience…

Great customer service and insurance...

AKKO has gone above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. They have provided great service as well as great coverage. While certain things may be a little hard to understand VIA their website, their customer service makes it easier to understand. Looking for to remaining an AKKO customer for years to come.

I will NOT be renewing my coverage with…

I will NOT be renewing my coverage with Akko once it runs out. Filing a claim is a nightmare and customer service is nonexistent. You can never speak to a live person and can only email or text or have an online chat. My daughter dropped her phone and shattered the back glass. They've fought us every step of the way! They kept asking for pictures and videos even though we had already sent them. They kept asking for the same information over and over again. Then they just ignored us and wouldn't respond until they were good and ready. Her phone is a 512gb and they tried to replace it with a 128gb. It's been over 2 weeks now and the case is still not resolved. I would never do business with Akko again. Sure, they're cheaper than other insurance companies but so not worth all the trouble and aggravation when you have a problem.
