I instructed Hegarty LLP to assist me with a long-running dispute involving a solar installation company that had become increasingly stressful and difficult to deal with.
My solicitor, Isabella Green, handled the matter professionally throughout. She took the time to understand a complicated history, provided clear advice, and ensured that all correspondence was dealt with promptly and thoroughly. What I particularly appreciated was her balanced approach. She was always realistic about the strengths and weaknesses of the situation while remaining supportive and responsive.
The matter involved numerous letters, a Letter Before Action, debt collection activity and ongoing disputes regarding responsibility for the solar equipment. Isabella dealt with everything calmly and professionally, which significantly reduced the stress of dealing with the matter myself.
Communication was excellent throughout, and I was always kept informed of any developments. I felt that my concerns were listened to and properly represented.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Isabella Green and Hegarty LLP to anyone requiring legal assistance in a consumer or contractual dispute.

Excellent response, advice and service
The response to my initial enquiry was exceptional, within 24 hours the appointed solicitor, Mr Abdul Basit, conducted a telephone consultation to fully understand my issue and laid out the next legal and action steps clearly for my understanding.
I was made aware of estimated costs from the beginning so there were no hidden surprises and for the service I ultimately received gave value for money.
Throughout the representation Mr Basit was always proactive, very swift to respond and engineered the outcomes I had hoped for.
My issue was not major but was taken seriously and dealt with in a diligent and professional manner.

Super service from Lisa & her team
Lisa Thornton was the partner tasked with the sale of our commercial property and she was readily available, and on the occasions that she wasn’t her exceptional team answered any queries we had in a timely manner. These days, getting a sale through in only 5 weeks is almost unheard of - doing it on a commercial property transaction even rarer.
We’d have no hesitation in recommending Lisa and her team to anyone considering using Hegartys.

Incompetent
"I am deeply disappointed with the service provided by Hegarty LLP. Throughout the entire process of handling our house sale and inheritance, the communication was consistently terrible.The final straw came with the transfer of our funds. We were told the money was sent via BACS on Friday, but by Wednesday, nothing had arrived. When we pushed for answers, staff claimed they 'didn't know' when it was sent. After refusing to back down, they finally admitted the payment had never even been authorised in their system. They had to rush through a same-day CHAPS transfer to fix their blunder.To leave clients completely in the dark regarding a massive life transaction is highly unprofessional and incredibly stressful. I would not recommend this firm to anyone who values basic competence."

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to learn that you were dissatisfied with your experience.
As we are mindful of our duties of confidentiality, we are unable to comment in detail on matters relating to individual transactions. However, we would like to clarify that throughout the matter we dealt directly with our client and were not made aware of any concerns regarding communication during the transaction.
With regard to the transfer of funds, an internal administrative error meant that a payment which had been set up was not released as intended. As soon as this was identified, the matter was rectified immediately and the funds were sent by same-day transfer.
We do however appreciate that any delay in the receipt of funds can be frustrating and we apologise for the inconvenience caused. We continually review our processes to ensure the high standards of service our clients expect.
If our client has any outstanding concerns, we would encourage them to contact us directly so that we can discuss them further.
Just honesty
Just honesty. All things take time. Was told when things moveing. You are good five stars.
