Love the notification when my person is on the way for service. I'm always impressed with the job performance. My lawn, what is left due to the extreme heat and drying out still looks like it has some life left after each service. It is easy to communicate with my contractor by email should I need to contact him. My service cost is reasonable priced compared to other contractors. I would recommend lawn starter 100 procent to anybody needing service especially seniors because of the reasonable cost.

My riding lawnmower broke down on me. It was gonna to be out of commission for about a month so I hired lawn starter to do three cut every two week. They did the first cut as scheduled. They sent me a notification for the second cut that it was done. I went up two days later and it was not cut. I contacted LawnStarter they told me there was probably an issue my lawn would get cut later. I told them if I would not have come up the lawn not have gotten cut. They did show up and cut the lawn after I called. I received a notification of the lawn being cut on July 20 2026. It was a exact repeat of the second cut, but for one different thing. I called them again I told them the lawn it's not cut again. I told them just refund my money back to me. They told me the best they could do was refund me $10 toward a future cut
This lawn service is not cheap. So be very careful if you decide to use LawnStarter. They are subcontract then they bid out your job to local lawn services in your area
So What I did, I bought used backup mower so I don't have to deal with shady people or companies

Ruined my bushes for $114. My bushes would have looked better if I used a baseball bat on them instead. “Job” done by Joe Caughman with Top Hawg Lawn Care. Stay away from that company and Lawn Starter.

The way she approaches the job, always professional. Does a great clean up afterwards.

Good job but expensive

Ricky did an outstanding job cutting my grass. He was punctual, professional, and paid close attention to every detail. My lawn looks clean, evenly cut, and well-maintained, with all the edging and trimming done perfectly. He also cleaned up everything before leaving, which I really appreciated. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and cares about customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Ricky to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality lawn care services!

This service has made arranging yard work for my mom incredibly easy. I live in Austin while she’s in Amarillo, and the entire process was simple, straightforward, and affordable. It streamlined everything from start to finish, and her yard looks great.

My experience with Lawnstarter has been mixed. I had several great pros that quit their service abruptly and a new pro was assigned. All of the pros recently have done a poor job or charged for service that was never completed. If anyone has a recommended, consistent company they've used, I would be grateful to have their information passed along.

Awful. I booked with them and it is typically Ai which can be frustrating. Also the lawn service scheduled was a no show and then rescheduled for the next day but not until 10:18pm. That following day I couldnt have anyone on my property because I was getting a new roof installed. I called lawnstarter and they said I needed to cancel 48hrs prior to the schedule service. I told them that isnt my problem since your service was a complete no show and then decided to schedule for the next day. I canceled them as a whole. I dont recommend. It is another app to download and then talk to your lawn service company they schedule for you.

I really needed a lawn company for my yard and I found LawnStarter online. I was a little hesitant at first because I’ve never went through a company, like this before and I am very glad I did. It’s very affordable and they work with you on things you may need to make the lawn experience go smoothly. I’m very pleased, with LawnStarter and I recommend this company, to everyone.

When the pro actually shows up they provide prompt acceptable service. I’ve had pros cancel on me back to back and took a month for my grass to be cut.

Awesome Job!!

I experienced numerous last-minute cancellations with no explanation. Custer service isn’t that helpful, as they have the same information you do when attempting to address the issues. This service is like Uber for lawn pros who are making this a side hustle. Great concept, terrible execution. We are currently working with our third lawn pro. He seems to be reliable.

Customers beware:
This company has failed to reimburse for property damage caused by their so called “pro”, clearly caught on our Ring cameras. Their claim process is a huge waste of time, management refuses to speak to customer, causing a web of frustrating emails that get nowhere. We have discontinued service & are being forced to take legal actions.

Thank you for doing the mowing as usual in good time and excellent condition. It is a good thing to have the home where my son lives look as well as it can.
