Horrible service
I came across Make My Knot through my sister, who had shared their Instagram page with me. After going through their profile, I was curious about how their process works, so I reached out to them on WhatsApp.
The founder, Moulik, responded and suggested we connect over a call the next day. During the call, I clearly mentioned that I am from Bangalore, born and brought up here. Instead of informing me upfront that they do not work with Bangalore-based profiles, he continued asking several questions and then explained their package, which ranges from ₹90,000 to ₹1 lakh.
He asked me to share my biodata and pictures, mentioning that once I do so, they would share some profiles to give me an idea of their database. I sent my details promptly. Later, I also followed up asking what exactly is included in the ₹90K package and whether we could start with the 15-day free trial mentioned on their website to better understand their services.
However, there was no response. Even after following up the next day, I finally received a message from the founder stating that they do not deal with Bangalore profiles.
This was quite disappointing. I had clearly mentioned my location in the initial conversation. Moreover, I am open to relocating to Delhi post marriage if the family is right—something that could have been discussed instead of abruptly discontinuing communication.
For a business that claims to have 50 years of experience, I expected a much higher level of professionalism, clarity, and client handling. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of that expectation.
I would strongly suggest others think twice before engaging with Make My Knot. The service and communication I experienced were extremely disappointing.
