Me:

The journey was fine but I was disappointed that the driver didn’t meet as at arrivals (which I paid extra for) and instead rang me and asked us to walk in the rain down to the carpark near the train station.

We weren’t best pleased about this and to be totally honest, I would like a refund for at least the extra charge for the driver meeting us, which didn’t occur.

No refund issued.. very disappointed.

This company should lose its taxi license. We took a taxi from the rank at the cruise terminal to Southampton Airport. The cost?...£42.50.

Radio cabs charged us £25 to our hotel and another company, £9 from the hotel to the ship.

These charlatans prey upon stressed-out cruise passengers. Don't be one of them.

My wife and I booked a cab with Southampton Taxis on 1st June '24. The journey was from the Red Jet terminal in Southampton to the Queen Elizabeth Cruise terminal, Southampton - a distance less than 2 miles. The charge was £24 plus £1.50 for a confirmation sms. An absolute rip off in my opinion. We will not be using their services again!
By contrast, on our return, we picked up a cab in the Cruise Terminal to take us to the Red Jet terminal. The cost was £8!!

Taxi van SG22 0GU driver was so rude in refusing me and my wife to board his car even with on board passenger gave us the invitation.

All he wanted was rather running more trips to earn few more pounds by causing more already congested road, wasting more fuel and letting passengers to wait a long queue with down pour of rain.

But his attitude was so rude by saying “ it is me not wanting to take you” to us!
I did offer pay him the full rate which it means he could have made double the money in one trip!

Very inconsiderate!

The worst cab drivers ever was lost In Southampton and couldn’t care less terrible city all round to be honest rat infested at our air bnb wish we had chosen elsewhere.

Be warned- DONT USE any Southampton Cab companies especially in Oxford street
