Missed the first delivery attempt, but as I had asked it to be delivered to my work address I had presumed it would be delivered in office hours .They tried to deliver at 6.20 pm after closing hours.... Ver mais

Dreadful

Well the 4.3 out of 5 definitely does not reflect the volume of one star ratings a have read on trust pilot which begs the question is this rating actually true. After trolling through 15 plus of these reviews I fast realise my experience was not alone. My item was dispatched on the day specified by the seller in to caribou network one week later no further updates. Sent 2 tickets on there website with my inquiry no response. automated recording on there phone number and Web chat set to away Which shows me this company just does not want contacted. First time having any experience with this courier and I will be avoiding from now on.

We're sorry that you've experienced an issue with the delivery of your parcel.

Caribou is still delivering parcels, however it has made the decision to exit the UK Domestic Parcel Market.

All remaining parcels in the network will be delivered by the 5th unless the sellers ask for them to be returned.

Caribou is an independent company and had always strived to become a Premium Carrier but it always feels like there is a race to the bottom on pricing, whilst costs are increasing across the UK.

When handling parcels which is a low price and low margin area its made much harder.  For Caribou this just isn't sustainable and it would rather gracefully exit the Domestic Parcel and let our competitors enjoy this space.

Caribou is not going bust and will continue with its other Divisions in the Pallet Networks, General Haulage, Logistics, Warehousing, Same Day and it's International Traffic

Thank you to everyone who has been supportive of the mission to build a new independent network and sorry its not meant to be.

It was delivered to the wrong house

It was delivered to the wrong house. I am 3 Brookfield Home Park, Dukesmead, Werrington. It was left at 3 Dukesmead. Fortunately we are a nice community and I was able to go there and collect it, aided by the photograph.

Parcel arrived within the stated delivery window (presumably) as I had to run an errand 1.5 hours into the slot.
A sorry we missed you card was on the doormat when I returned. Parcel left with Nextdoor neighbour so no problem.

Terrible customer service

Your original tracking link said 14 October but nothing was delivered then I received an email from you on 19 Oct stating it was to be delivered at 05.18pm on 19 Oct - but further the tracking stated between 1830 and 2030 on 19 Oct. Nothing was delivered. Today the tracking is showing it will be delivered in the next minute but this changes every time I go into the tracking to reflect the present timescale. Below is a copy of the tracking linked to the sale on ebay and as you can see it appears to be literally all over the place.
How can it go from Swindon depot to Grantham depot then out for delivery then back to the depot at Grantham.
I have no chance of getting these items - terrible customer service - no point in trying to call if you read the other reviews

Excellent experience

Excellent experience I wasn't in the office in the morning and was able to track the driver and arrive just before him so to meet him and receive the goods. The driver was a friendly guy and helped me load the goods onto my pickup.

Great service
recommend to anyone

Good communications but I had not heard…

Good communications but I had not heard of Caribou before and the non personalised email from them saying my delivery was on the way and to click a link at first looked suspiciously like spam/phishing email.
So suggestion for improvement would be to personalise your email notifications.

Have had a parcel I purchased from ebay sat in their Leeds depot since 14th. No movement whatsoever and haven't responded to my enquiries. Useless
