Garbage

Parcel was received by caribou on 5/10 marked as dispatched 9/10 and 10/10 neither days did it arrive. Raised a query via online form and no response received. The "live" chat is a waste of time. Emailed customer service and got a response a day later telling me they had recruitment and retention issues at their Hyde depot. No commitment was made as to when I would receive my parcel and as of today(19/10) still no parcel or update. I would suggest that if the company are having issues they maybe sub contract the work out because these cowboys make Yodel look competent.

Don’t go anywhere near this company

Don’t go anywhere near this company. They mark delivered when it never was. Then apologised. Claimed to attempt delivery 3 times when they did not. Did not apologise. No evidence provided, and no attempt to call the recipient. Alleged delivery slots were all fictitious. The tracking information is therefore of zero value. After 11 days package not delivered and have given up. I see that this is common recently. Have recommended to the eBay seller that he chase up the package himself. Sellers on eBay must declare that they are using Caribou, and I will never buy from anyone that uses them. Tell people before they get stung by this outfit. I will make it a condition of purchase that the seller does not use Caribou, and eBay UK will be made aware of this. Caribou deleted the open ticket, it is not available to view as closed or resolved or open/pending. So they have disowned the problem.

Deserves 0 stars - wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy!

I would give 0 stars if I could!
Overall useless company with awful customer service.
Ordered an item from eBay on Sunday, told delivery date would be Friday. My partner stayed home from work, Friday came and went with nothing, at 6pm received notification via email that the parcel was at the Grantham Depot (40 mins away from my house), I opened a ticket with Caribou as no contact number I have found for them seems to work and expected to receive a response on Monday or to at the very least have my parcel delivered! My partner stayed home AGAIN on Monday and at 11:56 I received another auto update with the exact same message as Friday evening "2021-10-18 11:56:34 At Hub / Depot - Grantham". Why has my parcel sat there all weekend and half of Monday only to be scanned again and left again? I contacted the Ebay seller and received this "We apologise for delay caused by courier.Order was dispatched on time.We have contacted delivery depot,should be delivered in 48hrs." I am still yet to receive ANY communication from Caribou from either ticket I have opened with them. Now at 13:30 on Tuesday I am still yet to receive any kind of update on where my parcel is and when it will be delivered, I am unable to use my vehicle without this parcel and am therefore incurring additional costs due to Caribou's incompetence and inability to handle their only responsibility as a COURIER SERVICE.
My partner and I both work full time, how do you expect people to sit around for an indefinite amount of time at home waiting for you to get your act together Caribou???
Not holding out much hope on the parcel being delivered AT ALL this week and have put in a complaint with the company I purchased the item from in the first place urging them to change their chosen courier service along with copies of the reviews in this forum. I will update this review if/when I receive my parcel.

Please do not be fooled by the "invited" good reviews!
Caribou are complete cowboys!

Bunch of cowboy's…

Expected a parcel to be delivered no later than the 15th October as that's what I was assured,here we are on the 19th October & my parcel is still in the depot/hub at Swindon a full 7 day's after arriving there on the 12th October.. absolutely shocking company,I've raised two tickets but heard absolutely nothing back even though it states someone will reply within 24 hours,we were meant to be going away on the 15th and needed this item for our motorhome,we had to cancel & arranged to go this Friday but it looks like this shambolic company are going to scupper our plans again..steer clear of these cowboy's,I work as a courier for another company & I nor any of my colleagues have even heard of these lot..avoid like the plague!!

Lied about delivering my parcel

My item never arrived and the tracking on eBay states delivered. Now I’m going to have trouble convincing the seller. This would have been my first ever delivery by this company. I’ll never use this service and will also avoid buying from sellers who do.

Poor customer service

I received my parcel eight days later than originally promised. I contacted Caribou two days after the original delivery date; it was almost a week before I received a response, advising the company had a backlog and a shortage of delivery drivers. The parcel itself, when delivered, was left in a safe place and I was informed by email of its arrival. In summary, 1/10 for customer service, 9/10 for the delivery driver

Don’t use this company they are worse…

Don’t use this company they are worse than My Hermes my parcel has been sitting in the Brighton depot for 4 days now hasn’t moved at all I’ve sent 2 tickets as they clearly have the phones switched to busy mode so u can never get through I was told to wait 48hrs…guess what parcel is still at Brighton and I keep getting “I will look into this for you…no one gets back to you” AVOID (Tuesday 19th October 2021) still not here!!

Terrible. Don't buy from people using caribou

Poor. As at 19/10 the tracking says we have your parcel. Problem is they have had it at their Hyde depot since 13th and due delivery date was guaranteed as 15th. Needed parcel for a project by that date so had to source elsewhere at more cost and time. Still the parcel is with them. 23/10 tracking has updated. Logged as still being in the Hyde depot.

I am sitting in my house, I have a doorbell and the driver didn't bother ringing the doorbell to give me my package but left it behind the bin!

I have been in Business with this…

I have been in Business with this company for a short period of time and faced huge loses . used this company to deliver my e commerce parcels and had to cease doing with them because of poor services and loses. They owe me a refund of my security deposit, I have been chasing them for a refund since last 4-6 months but having no response so looking forward now to recover my money through legal process . A big advice to commence sellers avoid this company or you will be left for nothing .
