I booked my bike for a standard service. Additionally I requested that the tubeless tires have the sealant replaced and asked them to look at the power meter (fitted as standard on the bike, a brand that is supplied by the shop) as it was no longer working. On the plus side, I received a call from the workshop to say the bike was in such good condition it didn't require a full service, only a tune up. I thought this very honest and fair. On the debit side, I was told they didn't know much about power meters and they couldn't help with that. I was disappointed by that response.

The staff at Reigate were professional and very knowledgeable on what was needed, advisable and not really necessary allowing me to spend my money wisely.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

After having issues fitting a cassette to some new wheels, I took some advice from Balfes, at which point it was recommended to purchase a new one, which fortuitously was in stock. The price however was a rather eye watering £120, which I felt obliged to pay considering the help I was given.

However despite a price match being advertised for like for like products at the more typical £60-70, Balfes decided not to honour it, meaning an extremely expensive trip. As a long standing customer, I was left disappointed and severely out of pocket.

The team spent so much time with me helping and explaining what everything is, looking at bike options and what i need etc. Couldn't recommend Balfe's Bikes, Reigate more highly ... fantastic service. Thankyou.

Full service and new drivertrain. During first ride the chain was slipping and making a lot of noise and not going into the lowest gear.

A great experience from Matt. There was an issue with the bike delivery, which had nothing to do with Matt. He however was very apologetic and honest about the situation.
When I eventually collected the bike, Matt spent unhurried time to explain specific details about the bike and how to get the best out of it.
