I’d never used the bike shop before i found it on my way home.
I booked to have a rack fitted to my Brompton
I asked them to look at a couple of other things.
Not only did they do a great job fitting rack but the fixed my other little jobs for no charge.
A week later I had a problem with the gears which they fixed in minutes for no charge.
I can highly recommend this shop.
I’m not an expert or professional bike rider I’m just a bloke that rides a little.

I took my daughter to Balfe's Waterloo, as she has a Ride to Work scheme. Joe was extremely patient with us and very helpful in providing advice on not only a bike, but all the other bike gear and kit. First class service.

The mechanic was able to identify the problem from my description, which is never easy, and fixed it.

The kick stand I ordered arrived (in-store) before they said it would and they let me know. Good service.

Service is excellent. I came to collect my order and ask for an advised about e-bikes. Giles happily accommodated my request. He shared information on what to look for in an e-bike, power, battery and the placement of this in a bike. Showed some e-bikes that are currently in store. As I am on a shorter side, most of the e-bikes are big for me but Giles assured me that they can help with the adjustment to ensure the bike will fit me. I'm grateful that Giles did not hesitate to accommodate my request even if I am not buying yet. That is what customer service is about.

Collection of online purchase, completed successfully.

I attended a brilliant bike workshop yesterday with 6 of my friends. Max and Joe spent two hours showing us how to safety-check, clean and maintain our bikes and fix punctures. We each had the opportunity to change an inner tube on our own bikes and never felt like any question was too stupid. Joe and Max gave up their Saturday evening to run this session and made the 2 hours super relaxed and welcoming. They provided snacks from Gail’s and free goodies from Muc-Off. All of us left feeling we had learnt a lot and far more confident looking after our bikes.

This is a perfect class for beginners and couldn’t recommend the staff at Waterloo more!

Great experience with very insightful advice while I was deciding which bike to purchase. They set everything up for me, so when I picked it up, it was ready to go and thoroughly explained.
