Excellent gym and NHS hub. Pool clean, not too warm and since restrictions on booking numbers not crowded for lane swimming. Good parking and helpful reception staff.

Fitness class was great, welcoming and inclusive of all abilities.

Very disappointing experience with the customer service at Hucknall Everyone Active Leisure Centre.

I had an issue with my children’s swimming classes that I was unable to resolve online. I tried calling the centre several times for help, but nobody answered, and on some occasions the calls were disconnected.

Today, I went to the centre in person hoping someone could help me rearrange the swimming classes. Unfortunately, instead of listening to the problem and helping me resolve it, I was simply told to go online and do it myself — even after I explained that I had already tried and was unable to sort it out online.

I found the staff unhelpful and felt that they were not really listening to what I was trying to explain. It is extremely frustrating when payments are taken on time, but getting assistance when there is a problem is so difficult.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this branch. Customer service and communication need significant improvement.

I go 3 times a week swimming and going to start in the gym very soon. There is so much to do,friendly staff,nice coffee area,something for all age groups

Been coming to the Hemel Hempstead centre for a few years, and it has never disappointed me! Facilities are clean, staff are very friendly, and there are a wide range of activities you can do. Also, I have beento several gyms before, and the gym in the Hemel Hempstead centre is undoubtedly the best!

New membership is expensive unless you are on benefits or a carer. Have a Sheffield Saver Card which was transferred over like all other existing memberships, then withdrawn without notice even though not expired and still showing as active on my account. Emailed several times and no one can give a full explanation, 'just the management has take the decision......'
Can't talk to a specific person who knows any answers. Poor customer service

This is a great sports centre. The staff there are very friendly and helpful. The renovations to the gym and health centre are a complete transformation. Good value for money.

Great place to go ,everything you need to keep fit, bit of a pain to always have to book for some things you want to do ie swimming and parking can sometimes be a pain too if the school up the road is due to finish. Staff are always lovely and the facilities are are kept clean and tidy

Appalling website. No pool timetable-no helpful information at all-don’t even know if the pool is open for public swimming and just lost about an hour of my life trawling through the website because I thought the info must be there somewhere and I was just to stupid to find it…it’s not…they really are that … we’ll use your imagination.

Our gym has recently been taken over by Everyone Active and the transition has been fantastic. They managed to stay open the entire time with absolutely minimum disruption to members which was greatly appreciated. Thank you to the staff who made this possible.
The improvement in the facility is already noticeable. The gym is completely spotless and the staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. I am especially impressed with the new reception setup-it is much clearer and easier to get attention now whereas before, I always found that there was a lengthy wait to speak to someone-I hope this excellent service continues.

I honestly don't know how much worse the transfer of operations to Everyone Active in Sheffield could have gone for me.

I was told in a communication before Everyone Active took over that all freezes on accounts would be transferred. Great, I'd a break in my arm and Places Leisure (the previous provider) had processed this giving me a three months freeze.

So transfer happens, no freeze acknowledged and money taken from my bank account.

I try and call the membership line at Graves Leisure Centre but persistent no answers, so had to ask a friend to drive me so I could resolve in person. Was told on this visit that everything needed to be done through the app and they couldn't resolve on site.

I'm not a luddite but I've found that using the app to resolve the payment that shouldn't have been take and the account freeze meant I entered an appalling automated loop and was consequently unresolved. I contacted them via their well hidden contact us button and was told I needed to return to the freeze loop to clarify how pong I needed (despite being clear about what had already been (and continued to be requested in my message) AND, contact my bank to ask for an indemnity as they won't refund the wrongful payment.

I hope hope that Sheffield City Council are able to use this review as part of service level agreement discussions.

The worst place i have ever been. ignorant staff to busy flirting with other members of staff. Manager refused to refund me.. absolutely disgusting..

A very welcome change over, I've seen certain aspects become a lot more efficient which is great. Friendly new face's on reception. Swimming definitely feels a lot more organised.

Victory Swim and Fitness Centre is so welcoming, it has a lovely relaxed atmosphere about the place. All the staff are so friendly , knowledgeable and helpful. I really enjoy going, and I’ve never been fitter.

We've just been swimming, for the first time, at the new Bedworth Physical Activity Hub and can't fault it. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the facilities are first class throughout. It's obvious a lot of thought has gone into what this facility aims to provide for the local community, particularly with regards to inclusivity.
Highly recommended!

My child is really enjoying the swimming lessons.Dedicated staff and well maintained centre.

There are classes that suit my needs in the day time. Great teachers and good facilities.

Both of my children absolutely love their swimming lessons at Blackbrook. All of the swimming instructors have been amazing—kind, encouraging and brilliant at making children feel at ease while helping them progress.

Lucy Gray, the General Manager, deserves a special mention. She has gone out of her way to help us on many occasions and is always approachable, responsive and willing to find a solution. Most recently, she took a concern seriously, raised it further, kept us updated and personally checked that everything had been resolved.

Blackbrook is welcoming and inclusive, and I would highly recommend it for swimming lessons, particularly for families looking for home-education swimming. Lucy and the whole swimming team are a real credit to the centre.
