Kleiner, aber sehr ordentlicher Hafen. Hervorragende Betreuung durch das Personal von le boat. Gesicherter Parkplatz, auf Wunsch sogar gedeckt (Aufpreis). Aktuell bisschen viel Algen, die Sehkuh, welche im Hafen sogar ankert, sollte mal wieder eingesetzt werden (!). Der Ort selber hat einen typisch französischen Charme. Grosses Einaufszentrum mit allem, was an braucht, in der Nähe des Hafens. Das Hafenhotel ist sehr hübsch und hat eine ausgezeichnete Küche. Wir haben jedoch auf dem Boot geschlafen und können nichts zu den Unterkünften sagen.

Our actual journey was Tannay - Decize. Le Boat are an excellent company to deal with. They are incredibly helpful and really want you to have a great time. They are full of advice and support. Even the technicians are friendly and happy to support. The route goes through some of the least populated areas of France. We spent two nights out in the countryside, one in the centre of a huge forest. We wouldn’t see another boat for hours at a time despite it being peak season. There were some lovely buildings to be seen on the way and lots of wildlife in the canal and out of it. This is a great route if you’re happy to cook for a few nights on board and you are after peace and tranquillity. There are limited opportunities to eat out or buy supplies along the way. I think the journey would be better Decize to Tannay. That way the flight of 16 locks would be downhill. A much more pleasant experience.

Sur une semaine on peut aller jusqu’à Sancerre. Si on veut moins naviguer, il faut au moins aller jusqu’au pont, canal du Guetin
