My wife and I bought our Motorhome from MDG in July 2025.
It was everything we wanted, it was just perfect as was all the paperwork, all the Habitation boxes ticked, everything was excellent, and your so delighted when you buy it, you only give all the paperwork a cursory glance and you sign and pay for it after all your it all perfect, you just been told that by the Dealer
Unfortunately the vehicle did not match the discretion in the paperwork
The minor problem we found should have been noted in the Habitation check, check and retified
Then we found major problems, all ticked as OK in the Habitation check door seals window seal, damp check’s only they weren’t good, roof damp spot but no damp check carried out on any roof light as per the MTC list, Door warped, with a hinge at 45 deg,
No problem it’s still in warrantee,
OK we were told they will fix it, as good as new/original and if you are not happy with the repair, we will give us a full refund
After seeing the repair with a line of white mastic from one side to the other hiding the cut to fit new roof board, with now sealing what was a perfect line between the roof and the wood work
I asked for our money back,…. they could not understand why were not happy with the repair, but there attitude changed in an instantly, no longer happy and friendly, now abrupt and unwelcoming .
We did get a full refund,m
Were previously we had been told it you decided to ask for a refund maybe we could supply you with a different Motorhome, now don’t bother looking at anything else we don’t want your custom
The moral is ask to see the paper work check the HAB report, check the report against the Motorhome, before parting with any of your hard earn CASH
As it appeares they sell you a vehicle so you then buy a warrantee they them fix all the problem and claim all the cost back against your warrantee saving the the cost of any repairs
