As with all the other reviews for this company, their customer service is non-existent and they simply don't respect the terms of the tickets they sell! I was supposed to run a race with a group of friends and one of us got injured beforehand. In theory, we should be able to at least participate in a future race for free, but they have simply ignored all our emails.

Just absolutely brutal customer service from start to finish. They care so much more about making a few dollars off of you than providing an actual enjoyable experience.

I had an old injury come up in my right knee and paid 250$ for a ticket to have insurance in case this happened. I had contacted these people WEEKS Prior to the race on 12/7/2024 to be issued a refund !!
THERE HAS BEEN NO REFUND ISSUED FOR THIS. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!! SPARTAN RACES ARE SCAMS.

Terrible experiencia con la carrera para niño… muy mala organización, los padres que no teníamos ni idea o nunca hicimos ninguna carrera no teníamos ningún tipo de información logístico, mis hijos se fueron a correr solos y ni pude esperarlos en la meta porque nadie pregunte en 3 tiendas con “Staff” y ninguno tenía ni idea, el niño se cayó y se hizo una herida, ni agua le pusieron

On 10/14 I purchased 2 tickets from Groupon for the spartan race in Central Florida for 12/7/24. After purchasing the tickets the online registration was not working, I tried calling and they do not have a working number so I emailed them. After 24 hours of silence I messaged them on Facebook and managed to get a response and after 2 hours of messaging they could not figure out the issue and promised to email me with a resolution. That resolution never came so day 3 now I am messaging them again and they are going in circles with the same trouble shooting from the day before. Eventually I give up because they stop responding and try to return the tickets on Groupon which promised a 3 day refund guarantee. Groupon which also doesn’t have a working day phone number says they have to reach out to Spartan race because these tickets are now not refundable per their policy even though they advertise there is and they reply an hour later that Spartan race verified their registration IS WORKING, I try again and it is of course not working. I had no choice but to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I will be filing a claim with the court if need be.

I’m in my sixties, thinning hair, gray. Ordered 3 bars, took 4 months to go thru them. No change or improvement in color or thickness. Called to ask about any refund garauntee, was told no as I used it 4 months. Not worried about a refund, but..👎🏻for any recommendations, Tracy D. 😎

2024 in Tschechien: wofür zahle ich diesen Preis, wenn es nicht mal Toiletten oder wenigstens Toilettenwägen gibt. Die widerlichsten Dixi Klos ohne Klopapier und Wasser. Das sind Basics… Parksituation ebenfalls Katastrophe. Halbe Stunde auswärts darfst du dafür extra zahlen, obwohl du mit läufst.

They charge spectators a fee yet don't give a crap about them, no signage to show where racers are, maps are not accurate, online tracker doesn't work, volunteers have no idea which mile mark they are working at. If they did not charge spectators then I wouldn't care, but what exactly am I paying for??? Use of the port o potty?

Schrecklich. Rennen schlecht organisiert, Mitarbeiter größtenteils lustlos an den Hindernissen. Und man hat nur Probleme mit der Foto Option. Man bezahlt diese als Teammitglied, loggt sich ein kriegt sie nichtmal angezeigt - Support Anfrage - dann kriegt man sie angezeigt, aber soll sie bezahlen obwohl man schon bezahlt hat - Support Anfrage - nun schon seit 5 Tagen keine Rückmeldung darauf. Nervig hoch zehn. Die Veranstaltung ist bald 2 Wochen her und ich hab meine Bilder immernoch nicht. Und die „duschen“ bei dem Event waren ein paar Schläuche auf offenem Feld bei denen man sich auf den dreckigen Boden setzen musste um wenigstens etwas vom Wasserdruck abzubekommen,

Eigentlich null Sterne. Leider geht das nicht. Reine Abzocke der ganze Verein. Ich liebe Hindernisläufe und hab auch schon bei vielen anderen regelmäßig mit gemacht. Leider muss ich meine Spartan Race jetzt aus gesundheitlichen Gründen verschieben. Ich habe nur Problem. Ich zahle wie man es dreht und wendet für ein gleichwertiges Rennen dann fast nochmal den gleichen Betrag drauf. Das Geld vom ursprünglichen Lauf ist also so oder so weg. Das ist das letzte Mal das ich bei Spartan mit mache. Gibt genug ehrlichere Hindernisläufe.

It was really disappointing. I like OCR races and have been to a few. I thought this was such a crowd that it would be the fanciest of them all. The opposite was true. The price is high, but the service is really bad. Out of about 20 obstacles, there were about 5 real obstacles. Otherwise, walking over the beam, carrying weights (it was about 5 times), jumping over the fireplace - I don't count that as an obstacle. In addition, you can only attempt each obstacle once. There are few people out there who will tell you how to overcome an obstacle. I have never encountered such problems with, for example, Predator Race. Halfway through the race they offer water and an orange, but when you get there, they look sour and won't give you anything. Only when you catch your breath and ask do they tell you it's only for kids. At the end, they won't even give you a cup of water (you should have your own :D ) and you will get an extremely cheap and disgusting energy drink.

Fairly basic and uninteresting obstacles and expensive (in comparison to ToughMudder also owned by Spartan now).

They messed T Shirt orders so had small (fits a kid) or XL upwards as available options (I paid over £100 for a ticket). I am still waiting for a large months later (although they have said they will send).

Took them months to upload the times to the online experience (the photos haven't been uploaded). If you wanted your stats then too bad! Just feels like a money making exercise as opposed to delivering a fantastic experience like ToughMudder.

We booked a second more challenging 20km and whilst they have taken payment I have not had confirmation of my ticket yet (over two/three months) later. I am left chasing them......!

This second event will be my last, as the time spent dealing with admin trying to find my ticket/race number etc has been ridiculous. Ultimately I just feel let down. It is the opposite to what ToughMudder is like and they are owned by the same company!

RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM SPARTAN THREE DAYS AFTER THE RACE EVENT DESPITE HAVING CHASED ABOUT THREE TO FOUR TIMES. JUST A GENERAL SORRY NO REASON WHY THEY DIDN'T EMAIL. WILL NOT RACE WITH THEM AGAIN.

Arnaque complet suite à l'annulation impossible de se faire rembourser. Ils veulent juste votre argent

Matraquage marketing insupportable.
Le SAV ne suit pas.
Une fois l'argent encaissé, il n'y a personne pour aiguiller le client.
Grosse machine à cash ... à fuir !

Honestly so bad. Cant get anyone to buy my ticket that is not worth a fraction of the cost i bought it for because an ambassadors code works better - thanks so much spartan.
Ive tried to transfer my British ObstCle Sport race - RUN by Spartan Uk - yet it can no longer be used on that race - makes no sense.

Be aware that if you do race youll also be pying for spectators despite it being a literal field. Registrations is absolute chaos, get there at least 2hrs early if you race AG or you may well miss your time. Its judged poorly, people cheat and still win, rules are changed and not communicated at the last min. Not to mention the ticket price for something where the obstacles are not changes year on year, if youre lucky you get one new one. Its a runners race anyway, the obstacles youll find people touch and run the penalty cus thats allowed🙄

Ringrazio tutti coloro che hanno pubblicato una recensione. Mi hanno impedito di acquistare un prodotto inutile, dopo aver ascoltato per più di mezz’ora una presentazione quasi convincente! Grazie

So I purchased spartan tickets on Groupon. Once I purchased the tickets I am supposed to go to the spartan website to register with the code they gave me. I typed in the code and I was charged full price instead. I call Groupon for a refund and they refuse to give a refund. Be careful with Groupon.

I hate to have to do this on social media but people need to be aware. I was so excited for my first spartan race this coming weekend in las Vegas . I unfortunately tore my hip flexor and will be out 3 months. Per spartan not only will they not give me a refund for my purchased ticket, if I want to transfer it would cost me another $35. I wrote them and they said there is nothing they can do so I am now out $160. Be aware if you sign up they will not refund you even if you are injured.

BUYER BEWARE If you are signing up for Trifecta Pass it has an expiration and it is only good for the country you bought it in. Spartan Canada's terrible customer service would not credit me after I found out that I bought a pass, but didn't realize I was on the ca.spartan site. I essentially gave them $300 for free, because I live in the states and could not make it to any canadian events. Who knew that Spartan is set up by country/ cost centers... I didn't. Just becareful and make sure you are on the right website, beacuse if you make a mistake they will pocket your money. I hope they use my money to better let people know what website they are on, but they apparently make money off your mistakes... so beware.
