The price and quality of furniture is excellent my only complaint is about the delivery team . They had to take my feet off on my Parker knoll sofa which unfortunately they didn’t re attach correctly but took it on themselves to not tell me and leave the feet untightened and free to spin if moved . The complaints process ran smooth with a furniture repair man sent to sort the problem out which he did . I presume he charges stokers for his services but since repair stokers after sales has been non existent , you’d think if a customer spent thousands on a sofa they’d want to check everything was ok .

If you are fed up of pushy salespeople that inhabit the big chain sofa companies then you should visit Stokers. We were greeted upon arrival and I said that we were going to have a good look around and we would ask if we needed any help, and that’s exactly what happened.
When we engaged with salesperson Sandra we explained what we were looking for ( we have two cats with claws ) she was very knowledgeable about which fabrics would be best to have. No pushy “ I can offer this discount only if you buy today “ etc etc she just offered her best advice without us ever feeling pressured. As a result we made a purchase and are looking forward to getting our new sofas soon.

What we like about Stokers is the way they leave you to browse the shop floor without interference from shop staff, leaving it up to you to approach them when you're ready. We visited the Ormskirk shop where Tracy was very helpful and
knowledgeable, and we were happy to place an order for two settees. We were not sure whether the large settee could be manoevred into our lounge, no problem though as Tracy arranged for an access visit to make sure before finalising the order. All in all we would recommend Stokers.

The showroom is very impressive and spacious. The stock is varied and of exceptional quality and competitively priced. The staff are brilliant. Friendly helpful and knowledgeable , acknowledging you as you arrive and then leave you to browse until you request assistance.And when they say they will do something , for example ring you, they do. A very pleasant experience.

We were assisted in our purchase of two leather sofas by Steve Wood at the Chester store. Great service received. Very impressed with the range of furniture on offer.

Andy in the Chester store was great, very helpful and makes a great cup of tea.

What a fabulous furniture shop Stokers is, my wife & I shopped at the Ormskirk branch, & what amazing professional & very pleasant staff we encounter, so helpful and informative. Also I have had follow up emails from Tracy regarding our order, she has been so helpful, I can highly recommend this chain of furniture, bedding & carpets store, I believe they have 10 in total. You won't be sorry if you pay them a visit.

Ordered my mattress by phone. Unsure which model was best for me. Carl gave objective feedback and advice which enabled me to order with confidence. Carl was very helpful and friendly - a real asset to Stokers.4€

We visited Stokers Ormskirk store in mid July and spoke to Sandra. We were looking for a sofa and Sandra was very helpful and advised on the benefits of different sofas. She was very patient and didn't push us to make a purchase. We eventually decided on an Italian leather sofa with an electric reclining chair. I would thoroughly recommend Stokers and Sandra in particular.

This is the first time that I have bought anything from Stoker’s Southport store and I am so pleased with the service I have received there. I was looking for a particular settee but needed a shorter delivery time than was advertised. Once I explained the situation, one was found to be available in a Stoker’s elsewhere in the country and arrangements immediately made for it to be delivered to Stoker’s in Southport asap. I must commend all the advice and assistance that I received, particularly from Graham Bedworth. A most pleasant and stress-free shopping experience!

We have just bought some furniture from Stoker's Ormskirk, Sandra the sales assistant was very helpful finding just what we needed the service and staff in the store were lovely i would definitely recommend Stoker's in Ormskirk

Great customer service. We were left to browse when we first arrived, without any pressure. When we did need their help, they were knowledgeable and friendly and didn’t try and close the sale with any gimmicky discount or ‘sale ending soon’ offer. Lovely shop layout and huge choice, highly recommend.

Questions to ask & i have to say we were so happy that Andrew appeared like magic to help us , he was so polite not pushy (as we have found) in different retailers, Andy had great customer service with us both ,was so helpful full of great knowledge ,ever so patient helpful & our whole purchase & chosing went smoothly...
My husband was so happy he returned to see Andy again today & made a further purchase of a dining table & chairs to go with our lovly new Settee & Chairs .

I don't normally write reviews but on this occasion the help, reassurance and assistance received from Jenny at the Southport branch was invaluable. She reassured my wife about removal of our existing suite and access for the suite we are purchasing.

We were greeted pleasantly by a gentleman on the phone as we went into the store.
We were allowed to wander and look at the various sofas and chairs that interested us with no pushy sales staff, just the offer of any assistance that we needed.
When we had made some sorts of decisions Mike Williams was very helpful. No pushy sales chat, just relevant information.
Mike arranged for the furniture we chose to be stain guard treated.
He also arranged for the furniture to be kept in their storage facility until we are ready for it in a few weeks.
Further telephone calls with both Tracie and Hannah were managed very professionally and pleasantly.
Excellent experience.

We visited Stokers to find a new sofa.
The choice was endless, we quickly found a sofa to our liking .

Scott Dupree took care of us from there.
He was friendly, not at all sales or pushy. He went in to details about the sofa options, sizes, colours and cushions.

Scott was informative regards lead time, delivery options and the sofa being set up on delivery.

He also gave a great deal on scotch guarding the sofa.

We had a great shopping experience and are now excited to receive our sofa - thanks Scott.
