I went to the Winchelsea Sands Holiday Park with some friends, and I highly recommend this place. The staff were super helpful, courteous and friendly. The caravan was cosy, cleaned and spacious.

Great location too! The caravan park is surrounded by stunning countryside views and located near the historic towns of Rye and Hastings, Winchelsea Sands, and the popular sandy beach of Camber Sands, easy to reach by bus, car or taxi.

It is the perfect weekend if you want to wind down and visit various interesting places.

A very lovely Caravan on a beautiful site.
We will definitely be looking to book again in the future.
The hosts were also great with their communication with us.

Stayed at Beauport Holiday Park during May half term 2021 in a beautiful lodge fully fitted with all modern amenities high class finish, we fully enjoyed our stay and are looking at rebooking for August 2021

Fabulous time with 1066 holidays, caravan was beautiful and clean and the site was beautiful!

Had a great time in a stunning lodge at Camber Sands. Communication was fantastic and the option of early check in and late check a real bonus and great value for money. Just booked again for next year based on the quality of accommodation and company professionalism.

We stayed at Coghurst Holiday park, the caravan was lovely, spacious and clean. Excellent amount of Kitchen utensils, and pans etc, also provided Linen, Towels, and a welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, sugar, and scourer with washing up liquid. This was a really nice touch. Great location, and very comfortable. I will definitely book again! Thank You

I have used 1066 holidays for booking my holidays for a few years now. I have never left a review before but I feel they deserve one for all the effort and help they give to their customers! They are quick to respond to any questions and are very helpful. I would definitely recommend the company.

Is what it is, a 🚐 near the Seafront

Very helpful and quick responses from host. The accommodation was ideal for us (2 adults and a toddler) and had everything we needed for a weekend away. The only issue we had was in relation to heating, it became very cold in the caravan and we needed to use the gas fire and all the heaters to keep warm. None the less we’d recommend and use again. Lovely caravan clearly recently done up in a great location. Furnishings and fittings are to a really high standard and much bigger than I was expecting. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The caravans with terrace come without any outside furniture. There is also no chair that can be moved outside to sit on. What’s the point of an outside space that is completely empty? When I asked 1066 the answer was that it is just this way.
Also renting a two double bedroom holiday home with two bathroom and just providing 1/2 roll of toilet paper is unnecessarily stingy. Otherwise fine. Clean and convenient location.

Had a wonderful weekend with my family and the hosts were very helpful and quick to answer any questions.
Looking forward to booking another stay.

Comfortable and very clean - love the site

Great experience booking with 1066 previously - good communication, lovely property, everything as promised. Very different the second time around. Had to move original booking when the second UK lockdown was announced - fair enough. Checked that new dates were still okay when lockdown ended and told they were fine, all going ahead. Less than a week before we were due to travel, the company told me the owner no longer wanted to rent out the property and so the booking would have to be postponed (again) or transferred to a different property. Since my mum, who I was travelling with, is terminally ill, we are not able to postpone this for a third time so I asked to cancel. They then told me I had to make the cancellation via Air BnB, and they would 'override' the reduced refund given when it looks like you have cancelled your trip. They sent a refund then I was called by someone from Air BnB saying they had made a mistake and wanted me to send back the money I had been refunded. I can't believe how badly they have handled this - I was already very disappointed to have our postponed holiday cancelled with less than a week's notice and they have since caused me even more inconvenience. This experience would put me off booking with this company in future.
