I placed an order with 1620 Workwear on February 19, 2026 (Order #133066). After several days with no shipping update, I contacted customer service on February 25 to ask about the order status.
I was told the pants were still being hemmed and that during peak periods hemming could take up to 10 business days before shipping. While that timeline was longer than expected, I understood and waited.
As the timeline became tighter, I followed up again and explained that I had a trip scheduled for March 10 and that the pants were intended for that trip. I politely asked whether it would be possible to prioritize the hemming or provide a realistic ship date so I could plan accordingly.
On March 4, I received a brief response that did not provide a shipment timeline and instead asked where my trip was so they could potentially ship the order there if it was in the U.S.
As of now, the order still has not shipped, and my follow-up messages have not received a response.
I understand delays can happen, but the lack of clear communication has been frustrating. At this point I would simply appreciate a clear shipping update or resolution.
If the company responds and resolves the issue, I will gladly update this review.

I have two issues with 1620.
First, they claim their clothing is very durable. That may be true but it comes at the expense of comfort. I have tried 3 clothing items and all felt like sandpaper against my skin.

Second is customer service. Returns take painfully long. I'm on my third week without a refund issued.

I won't be doing business with them again.

Disappointed with 1620 Workwear’s Military Discount Process – Feels Like a Con

As a veteran, I appreciate when companies offer military discounts and make the process simple, usually through services like ID.me. Unfortunately, my experience with 1620 Workwear was anything but that.

They claim to offer a military discount, but instead of a streamlined process like most American workwear brands, they ask you to DM them on Instagram or email them for a code. DMing them doesn’t result in a discount code—it just feels like a ploy to get you into their advertising loop on social media. Worse, using ID.me to verify military status on their site doesn’t automatically apply a discount at checkout, which is the standard with most merchants.

Having to email for a discount in 2024 is outdated and raises red flags. It’s frustrating when companies use ID.me to appear legitimate but then make you jump through hoops without delivering what’s promised.

If you’re a service member or veteran looking for workwear with a reliable military discount, I’d recommend sticking with brands that respect your time and service.
