I love the Apron and gloves that I received. I feel 1898 has very high quality products. The customer service I received was world class. I spoke to the owner in the phone and he explained his product thoroughly and I received my goods the next day. I have not welded with them yet but can definitely say that they are of high-quality workmanship and made of genuine leather. The price I payed was well worth the purchase. Will definitely continue doing business with 1898 Leather.

Beautiful BEAUTIFUL WELDING GLOVES!!! Its so hard to find a full black pair of welding gloves and i came across 1898!! They look just as good as they in the pictures and feel amazing!! Im glad i purchased them and the customer service is spectacular they even checked up on me to see if the gloves are good(i assume the owner of the company) now i do want to note whatever size you have in mind definitely consider the next size up!! I the Medium ones initially and they did call me and advised me that they do run tight and i said yes to a large size instead, there still a bit tight but wearing them for a bit definitely loosens them up and fits good!!! If they hadn’t called me and told me that information the Medium definitely would have not fitted me at all!!

All around give them a 10/5!! 5 for the top notch customer service & 5 for the beautiful gloves, i definitely give them a recommendation and look forward for new products they come out with!!!!!

The dexterity is very nice although the stitches gave out in under a month and my fingers were exposed in under 2 months of use, love them but they are not very durable. Once broken in feel amazing to use

High quality & feel, snug fit,alot better dexterity than regular gloves, put them to use next day will be buying another pair when these wear out.

The founder himself texted me regarding my order. There was an out of stock item, I didn't see it. So he texted me to tell me. He put in the same ite , just a different color for me. That was above and beyond custom service now a days!

The gloves were very high quality and they’re holding up very well. The one thing that I find that could be improved is the forearm section of the glove. It’s just small enough where it makes it difficult to pull on the gloves.

Only used them for a few days now and I can say they are the best gloves I’ve worn to weld in, I don’t feel the heat through them even resting my hand on a hot peice of metal and as thick and durable as they seem I still have great mobility and control over all my fingers with them on.
