Booked a taxi 2 weeks ahead. 24x7 called me morning of pickup which was due same evening. Increased the price 2.5x at very short notice. Luckily managed to get a local company to cover close to the original 24x7 quoted price.

Called to cancel the booking, agent didn’t even thank me or apologise, just a curt ok and hung up. Experience with them: rude and unreliable (felt dishonest) throughout. Advise do not use.

Avoid this company at all costs if you want a reliable service.
We booked a mini bus for 4 adults and luggage for our return trip from holiday on 13th September. We had booked several weeks in advance only to be notified whilst at the airport in Turkey that they were not able to provide the transfer from Stanstead that we had booked.. we were at a foreign airport about to board our flight only to be told they can't provide the service due to the driver being ill?? Have they only got one driver? Can't they get someone to cover? .. No! They leave you stranded having to try and find alternative transfers in the early hours of the morning . If I could give zero stars I would. Be warned this company can let you down at the last minute and couldn't care less

Honestly such a terrible service so far. My brother has SEN needs and his school picked out the company. My brother is non verbal and tends to have a bad day every once in a while and apparently while they arrived at the school my brother must have hit the driver because he mustn't have been happy or something must've provoked him to do it that (by the way the driver is about 6 foot and has some bulk on his shoulders). He's had bad days with the previous transport people and yes they do tell us but they don't take it to heart. Not this guy, apparently he's had to report it and now we have to walk him to the bus ourselves when they pick him up and take him off when he arrives home and yes the driver shouldn't probably have deserved to be hit but it's just part of the job, you're working with SEN children. By the way it's not just the driver who is on the bus, there is another worker who sits in the back, we haven't heard a peep from her. Isn't she the one that's supposed to be dealing with the kids, boarding them on/off the van while the driver sits in the driver's seat? If you don't want to work with SEN children, then don't do the bloody job. It's hard, yes. But if you take everything they do to you to heart and make it personal that's only going to make you more miserable.

Terribly let down arriving back from holiday . Taxi was booked and confirmed 2 weeks before but driver Alex cancelled saying his car had broken down . Clearly chose not to wait and take another ride instead , as seen on the ‘ live tracking ‘ Told to ring the office who were no help at all and left us stranded ! Have been a loyal customer for years to this firm since they were ousted from Stansted and have recommended them countless times . Never again ! Being a loyal customer counted for nothing at the end of the day .

This company was suppose to collect my special needs son from a day center under a local authority contract. Apparently the driver decided he didn't want to do the run so didn't bother turning up and left him on the side of the road. The morning driver turned up an hour early and and so my son was then an hour early at the day centre and had to wait until the day center was open. All of his first day, left him very distraught. The company's response was to put the driver on a new rout that he did want to do. If he worked for my company he would be looking for a new job. This company should not be allowed to have the contracts for special need and vulnerable people as there's no accountability, shocking service.

Totally misleading website booked online Fixed price £30 then charge me £40 would not have booked them as Uber were then cheaper , spoke to someone in their office who didn’t care and said we should have known !!!!! Disgraceful service although the driver himself was very polite . Feel they know they are totally misleading jusy to get the fare !

Terrible service - book a return journey for £35 which gets confirmed. They call an hour before the booked time and tell me it’s actually £50. What a scam.

I had family visiting from Canada for my wedding just outside of Braintree, and I needed to arrange several taxis for them as they didn’t have UK phone numbers and weren’t familiar with the area. I booked a range of journeys with this company, from early morning pickups at 5am to multiple late-night taxis around midnight, as well as some midday rides.

Everything went smoothly. The bookings included groups from 2 to 8 people, and also a couple of long-distance trips from Braintree to Southampton. Every ride was punctual, the vehicles were clean, and the drivers were all friendly and professional.

I paid for some journeys upfront and others on the day no issues either way. Honestly, the whole experience was stress-free and seamless from start to finish. Paul Wotton was a great help making multiple bookings as the requests came in before the wedding. Highly recommend!
