Your DHL delivery still has not been…
Your DHL delivery still has not been completed after a second attempt.
The first time I was missing for a few minutes. The package is normally left in my porh or with a neighbour. No attempt was made.
The second time I was present but heard no knock on the door and yet again missed the driver.

We apologise for your poor experience with us. We understand that your order was picked up from our premises on the afternoon of the 8th of May and delivery was attempted at your place of work on the morning of the 9th of May. Our couriers at DHL noted that there was no response. Within 10 minutes of the attempted delivery, you received an update from us requesting that you set up another date for delivery with DHL.
You should have received this email from us regarding this failed delivery attempt around 10:10am on the 9th of May. If this didn't reach you then we will check our details on our side to prevent future issues. We are very shocked to hear that our partners at DHL may not have taken their responsibilities seriously. We will be sure to follow up with them and see if anything can be done to prevent such inconveniences going forward.

Do not used sustainable practices for P&P
With a name like 2BScientific (with a bumblebee in the logo), you would expect them to use sustainable postage and packaging practices.
They use polystyrene peanuts for delivery - maybe these are sustainable ones, but there is no indication that they are.
Additionally, they put a card in each package with the name of the person who packed the parcel. This is an unnecessary use of paper for something that just goes back to recycling. Each parcel also comes with a plastic keyring with the company logo on it. This is another waste as most of these end up in the bin due to having so many delivered with each parcel. You need to make your practices more sustainable to keep up with other scientific suppliers.

Although at first glance, lots of our packaging seems unsustainable, the majority is actually recycled from what we have received from our manufacturers. We cannot control what other companies in the sector are doing, but we are pleased to give certain materials a "second life" as opposed to just throwing them away ourselves upon receipt. The peanuts, for example, dissolve in water so have little environmental impact. Although environmental impacts are close to our hearts here at 2B, the safe delivery of our product ranges is of paramount importance to our customers, and hence some level of sustainability in the packaging might not necessarily be what is best for the end user.

In terms of additional “2B freebees”, there is a key balance to be met which does provide quite a challenge. We like to let people know who packed the parcel, as we value a more personal approach. Due to this, we do get feedback saying thank you to the people that worked on certain orders, and this mentality is a small part of what sets us apart as a business. We also send out seed packets to help propagate nature on a small scale. In regard to the keyrings, you bring up a very good point. These additions as a whole represent a possible area of improvement for us, and we have recently begun a search into more sustainable alternatives so our customers can continue to enjoy them going forward.
We do believe wholeheartedly that we are a leading company in the sector in terms of our environmental initiatives, such as those mentioned already, as well as being 100% carbon neutral and supporting many environmental schemes worldwide and donating to a multitude of charities.
