I've had three dealings with this firm all through (re)mortgage applications (recommended by the bank) and each time is worse. They end up costing you more money through interest on your mortgage because of their incompetence. No one has a clue what’s going on. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Optima have demonstrated a significant lack of competence in handling anything beyond a straightforward mortgage transfer. Throughout the process, there were repeated and unnecessary delays, ultimately resulting in the remortgage completion date being missed. As a direct consequence, I was forced onto my lender’s variable rate, incurring additional costs of approximately £500.

Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to consider alternative solicitors, particularly where the case is assigned to their so-called “complex team,” as this appears to introduce further inefficiencies and delays.

I felt the guidelines provided for completing the mortgage deed were unclear, which led to us filling them out incorrectly. However, when I phoned and spoke to an adviser, they were extremely helpful and resolved the issue quickly. The customer service advisers are excellent.

This company is absolutely a joke, my remortgage is on their hand, and there is only 2 days left before the deadline, and their website server run of the message capacity, and you cannot reach out to the team for inquiry, and they never response your question ( sent on 23/4 and no answer since then).
If you are thinking to partner with them, think carefully.
