Wanted to treat myself for my birthday so spent over £300 with fitting on a wig from A List hair. The quality of the wigs I tried on seemed to be fine so I chose a style and had it fitted in their salon.
It was only after I had it styled that I noticed that some part of the hair was did not curl properly and had shorter pieces running throughout the wig - as if the strands had broken off. When I got home I inspected the hair closer and saw that it was worse than I thought. The hair sheds and breaks easily.

Expected higher quality hair based on the expensive price, company claim and reviews. Pictures on website did not reflect reality!

Had an early morning flight day after fitting so called the company to let them know off the issue after arriving back to the UK. They asked for pictures but I opted to come to the salon to show them. Was told that all their wigs had the same issue - I.e shorter pieces of hair mixed with longer lengths which made it look like the hair had split ends or the longer lengths had broken off.

They suggested that they could deep condition the hair for me to see if that helped so I agreed and left the wig for them. When I came back to collect the wig, the hair looked abit better but the short lengths were very much apparent making wig look frizzy and very worn.

I asked if I could exchange the hair for a different curlier style as this would not show the shorter/broken off pieces as much or make them blend more, and was told there was nothing they could do because the wig had already been styled/lace cut. However, they also sell pre-cut lace wigs on their site so they could have re-sold the one I purchased, if they wanted to assist. I had the wig less than a week and only worn 3x during birthday break with little manipulation as they had styled it for me.

Big lesson learnt, never purchase a wig/hair and have it installed by the salon on the same day. Thoroughly inspect the hair for issues. If I had bought the hair separately without them fitting it, I could have returned it and get my money back but how could I have foreseen how bad the hair was when styled?

Overall, extremely disappointed in the hair quality, its money wasted, hair breaks easily and company does not care about customer satisfaction. Never buying from them again and would not recommend. Their quality does not reflect the expensive wig price.

Even the wigs I bought from AliExpress over 5 years ago are still better now than the A List wig I purchased 2 weeks ago! Cannot see their wigs doing well after 6 months even with occasional use.

I loved the salon. I was greeted with a smile. Staff are friendly and professional. I am happy with my glueless lace wig and it looks so natural. Texture is soft and also feels light. One of the best quality wigs i've purchased, worth every penny. I'm truly impressed and I highly recommend A-List Lace Hair even if its just for a consultation.

It was a great experience as the service was excellent, staffs were welcoming, nice and relaxing atmosphere. Good quality wigs and will come again soon.

I bought a custom glue-lace wig, and it did not deliver.

It was overplucked all around, and massive chunks from the middle parted.

When I contacted them via email, the responses were slow, and when I sent pictures of the wig, they responded by saying to change the parting style and do baby hair. I replied to the email, and I have not heard back from them. Nothing.

I have been a loyal customer to Alist Hair since 2018 each time I have made a purchase it has never disappointed from excellent service to an outstanding product. When I visited the salon today I was made to feel at ease I suffer from alopecia and it can be difficult Sheraya my stylist was simply amazing and was so warm and attentive 🤩 Alist have a true gem !! Keep up the good work and the great service I was so blown away with the way you cut and styled my hair csnt wait to add some colour after taking your advise

The customer service from start to finish was amazing and I felt very comfortable with all members of staff. A staff member who really stood out to me is a Lady named Iffy. She was really good at explaining the technical aspects of the wig fitting throughout the consultation and overall she was such a vibe, she deserves all the praise.

My experience at A-list hair was excellent. I didn’t have an appointment and the staff were so welcoming and friendly, I didn’t have to wait long to fit the hair which I’m totally in love with. The hair looks so natural and beautiful, I’m happy with this curly hair.

I had booked a last minute consultation for a Wig purchase and Fitting at A-List hair and the experience was fantastic. This is my third visit to the salon and the staff have been amazing as usual. Lovely colleague Merline then helped me pick the wig I liked and gave me good recommendations. I ended up choosing a 22inch lace body wave hair which looked gorgeous and the quality was so good! Toya then styled my hair as desired and had it fit and customised to look natural to my own hair! All around a great choice and I definitely will be back here again! I recommend this to others, the service and hair was superb. Thanks A-list hair and hope to see you again soon!

I decided to write this rather lengthy feedback on the service I have received at A List Hair, not only because I had such an amazing experience, but being a complete novice to wigs and having gone through all the research, and their videos, I wished I had someone run through the experience from the beginning to the end of buying a wig.

Their beautifully decorated salon is in West Kensington, literally a few doors from the underground station. I opted to have a Consultation and then a Fitting after trying on a number of units. The manager was patient and offered me a number of options to try on in a private room in the Consultation, even ones I had not entertained as alternatives. She was engaging and made me feel completely at ease as this was my first wig. I tried on frontals in The May, The Naomi and The Andrea from 16’ to 22’ inch. I ended up choosing the Andrea 22’ inch. The Andrea is body wave, glueless 13×6 Frontal lace wig with virgin Brazilian, natural black hair, consisting of 150 density. It’s lush!

I think it’s helpful if you are a first timer like me to watch ALL the videos they have on their Instagram account (they are also on TikTok) as there is so much helpful content with live videos of the fabulous Antonia trying various units and answering questions. Plus you can see the rest of the beautiful team on IG trying on the various wigs named after them. Love that respect paid to the team. You also can see all the positive reviews they have received and make your own informed decision.

For a consultation appointment, you just have to make sure your hair is tied back flat or braided down flat so you can try the wigs on. You will be provided a wig cap to try the units.

But do note that fitting appointments are only for people who have PURCHASED THE WIG ALREADY. I made the mistake of booking a Consultation and a Fitting back to back but upon reading the booking confirmation email I received and after a brief call to A-List to confirm, I was reminded a Consultation appointment is ONLY booked if you wish to BUY & FIT on the same day.

After my consultation, I was taking back into the reception area and provided a beverage whilst I waited for my Fitting which was about 45 mins - but given it was a Saturday I was prepared to wait and had already noted this from their website.

I was then taken to a Fitting room with more beautiful decor with only 2 others present to have my fitting. I was informed that after placing my Andrea unit on me to check for size that it will be removed and the knots bleached which took 10mins. The staff were super friendly chatting and busily working. They then cut the excess lace across the hairline and sewed in the banding there and then - that takes around another 10mins or so. Then the lace tint is added. Once that is all done then the unit is secured on and styled accordingly. I was able to take photographs of the way it was styled, especially the edges so I could try this at home myself, being a total newbie. I also bought their own lace tinting product and mousse.

Honestly, from the minute I walked in until I left I was pampered and looked after. I accept that the units may not be cheap but they are absolute value for money because I left feeling like an A-list star! Money cannot match what feeling good and looking good can do for your self-esteem and confidence. There is power in that. It’s therapeutic & healing. This is what I feel that staff at A List do at their best. They empower women to look and also feel fabulous! That is priceless. So thank you SO much. I will be back to purchase more. I came to the store with no prior appointment and the team was ready to assist me on the spot. I thoroughly appreciated that. I didn’t really have an idea about exactly what tho of hair I was looking for but o gave the stylist my budget and she brought out a variety of wigs available at my price point and we tried them on until I found “the one”. The stylist who was working with me was a lovely lady (forgot her name) but she did a stellar job. The team is friendly and I’m definitely returning soon because the quality of the hair is just amazing.
