After visiting five other mobility shops in the Blackpool area that day, I stopped for coffee and cake and searched for other options. That was when I found the Blackpool shop.
Adam listened to my need, the scooter needed to go in my car, be able to travel on trains, easy for me to handle with plenty of miles in the battery (35), he suggested, I listened, I tried the Rascal Vista DX, the only thing it didn’t do was 8mph, a small relax on my requirements. The rascal gives me both options in my car and travel with me and on Merseyrail which takes me to, Southport, Chester, Liverpool numerous places.

I've had to bow to the inevitable, I've been thinking about and being encouraged to get a rollator, to make walking and resting easier especially with having a seat and a little shopping bag, I saw Ableworld from a bus 🚌 I travel on. So I decided with the help of my next-door neighbour to go to Ableworld and choose one.
I'll have to get used to it, but it'll be worth it, The person whom I dealt with was very helpful and friendly . I would recommend them.

I had a problem with my mobility scooter seat that needed replacing.
I would like to thank Katie,who procured the new seat and arranged for it to be fitted and also thank Neil and Gary the engineers who fitted the new seat.
Katie,Neil and Gary,were extremely professional,courteous and polite.
I am very impressed and would definitely recommend this company to my family and friends.

Down one star because of the building. Sad state of affairs that since they rent the shop they can't do adaptations because of the small step at the door where my electric wheelchair would not navigate and needed my partner to lift the chair (and me) over it to get In The store

This was my first visit to Able World and as soon as i walked in the door i was greeted with Good Morning by 2 members of staff.
I explained what i was looking for and they took me to the relevant part of the department. I was shown a variety of walking sticks and was very happy with the one i chose.
Will definitely visit again if i decide i would like a different walking stick to the one i chose or some other item.

staff very knowledgeable of products we wanted a lightweight transit wheelchair for my mother the very nice lady at the store here in Blackpool was fantastic got a chair i could pick up and which was comfortable for mum she showed me how to fold it down the service was first class would highly recommend staff and store plus the price was reasonable too very pleased

I'd like to thank peter (Blackpool Branch ),( what a helpful guy ) nothing seemed to be any trouble. From the moment i rang him with the problem to getting it sorted nothing was to much trouble,
Shame the staff is not as helpful where we live in Southampton.

Today we visited blackpool from nuneaton coventry for a daytrip.
This was with several residents from a care home.
On arrival we realised we needed an extra wheelchair,seen this shop went in and asked for help.
A great man named shaun was a life saver,he provided us with a wheelchair so we could enjoy our day.

Absolutely first class!
After recently dealing with a different hire chair firm that is located close to the Blackpool town centre which wasn't a pleasant experience, what a difference when I dealt with the staff at Able World...knowledgeable, helpful and truly sincere!
This whole thing is a new experience for my wife and I and it was made a whole lot easier thanks to them.

Just took mum to buy a mobility scooter. The ladies were very knowledgeable and willing to answer all our question and very willing to help.

Hired a wheelchaire for a weekend in London after ankle surgery, 1 foot pedal was cracked (which unfortunately I didn't realise until I was on the train), the other footpedal everytime I went over a bump the footpedal dropped and dug into the ground resulting in the wheelchair tipping forward and catching my bad ankle.
Due to this we had to remove the footpedals completely and I had to hold my legs up causing increased pain to my bad leg and my hips.
My partner took the wheelchair back as I was too upset to as the weekend was pritty much ruined due to this below par wheelchair, he explained what happened the staff were very apologetic but never offered a refund which under the circumstances is the very least they could of done.
Very upsetting and disappointing.

I called in to Ableworld Blackpool, at the last minute and with no prior knowledge, to enquire about short-term mobility scooter hire. Shaun’s friendliness, knowledge and willingness to help in any way (contact arrangements, provisional booking, delivery and collection to suit) not only gave me complete confidence in the service but also ensured that my parents were able to make much more of their holiday than otherwise (in fact their first time on ‘scooters’ will possibly be the highlight).

Went into Ableworld Blackpool today enquiring about scooters. Shaun was most helpful, informative, he encouraged me to test them out. I Purchased one today, it was delivered within the hour. I've already been out with my dog which was a difficulty for me, and it is the best thing I've purchased . I don't have to worry about falling now while I'm out. Thank you

Needed a small scooter for my husband went to ableworld cherry tree road blackpool a lovely guy called Sean was great went through everything and was very helpful sorted my husband out carried everything to our car and showed my husband how to do everything would really recommend this store

Called in today and purchased a scooter for my brother in law. SHAUN the store assistant was absolutely fantastic. Very informative and really helpful, I would highly recommend this store you cannot go wrong 5 stars from me .
