We worked with Absolute Digital Media for over 12 months, and spent in excess of £80,000. Unfortunately, despite the length of the engagement and the level of investment, we saw no measurable commercial ROI.

Our main issue, however, was not simply performance, but transparency and professional conduct. During the final month, we queried an invoice as no tangible deliverables had been provided at that point (no live links, no URLs, no substantiation of work completed). Despite our long-standing relationship, our requests for basic validation were met with deflection or outright declined. When URLs were finally provided—late—they were a significant disappointment.

Despite the agency’s claim that they 'don't mess around with low-quality links,' our audit revealed a list of 'ghost' domains and purpose-built assets (PBNs) with zero organic visitors. We found our finance-related links placed on completely irrelevant sites, generic link farms.

When we pointed out that this delivery breached their own advertised standards of 'authoritative sites' and 'organic traffic,' the agency ignored the technical concerns and immediately escalated to legal threats. It was a total lack of professional integrity.

While we appreciate that SEO outcomes cannot be guaranteed, we do expect reasonable transparency around what has actually been delivered — particularly when an engagement is ending. That was not forthcoming. We paid the final invoice under protest to close the account, but the experience left us disappointed given what had otherwise been a long-standing commercial relationship.

Prospective clients should ensure:
• Expectations around deliverables are explicitly documented.
• Transparency and 'live link' standards are agreed upfront.
• Exit-month obligations are clearly understood in practice, not just contractually.

We expected a collaborative partnership; we ended with a contractual standoff over low-quality assets that pose more risk than value to our domain.

After my experience with this company it all looked good at first... they gave a great sales pitch at the beginning and came across professional but I WAS DEFINITELY WRONG !

I would avoid using this company all they are interested in is taking money and doing hardly any work and poor communication with loads of promises which they don't follow through.

During my time with them I had 3 different head campaign leaders all telling me different things and contradicting each other. After I got a second opinion I realised they had not done what they said they were going to do.

If you are starting out DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE ! it was certainly a costly experience which would have continued if I had not questioned their work. In total cost me £10,500 aprox for no results and frustration of all my hard earned money down the drain.

In short they've wasted my time and a back the back queue as they had bigger clients to look after possibly. My advice is read the contract people.

This third email even implies a previous interaction or interest on my part, which is entirely fabricated. This approach only serves to damage their credibility and portrays a lack of respect for potential clients' time and privacy.Moreover, the fact that I have had to endure multiple emails from Absolute Digital despite not responding to any of their previous messages shows a blatant disregard for common courtesy and professional communication standards. Their insistence on sending unwanted emails is a poor reflection of their business practices and marketing strategies.In summary, my experience with Absolute Digital has been overwhelmingly negative. The unsolicited emails are an invasion of privacy, the content is irrelevant and unwelcome, and their persistence is both annoying and unprofessional. I strongly advise others to be cautious with their contact details and to avoid engaging with companies that resort to such intrusive marketing tactics.
