I've worked for Absolute Enforcement & Absolute Security for 4 years, it is definitely a good company to work for & on the security side it's better pay than any other company in the area, the Enforcement side can be frustrating as the Boss only works in black & white with no grey areas, all work must be done strictly by the law. The people I have worked with bring all different skills into the job's so there's always room for learning. I contacted Absolute Enforcement in May, 2024. They were very efficient at explaining the necessary fees. The only time they contacted me was to suggest I pay more money. I kept paying these additional charges. THEY NEVER CONTACTED ME WITH ANY UPDATES.I last contacted them in October,2024.
SINCE THEN THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN IN TOUCH .

We have spent £100s getting a court order enforced. It took almost 4 months after getting it enforced for an agent to go out, and in the meantime, every time we could get hold of them (which was not often), they said they were waiting on the site visit report. When it did come through, it turned out that no one had visited in those 4 months. Now they want an extra £90 off us to cancel our contract. No details on what to do next and they are not answering our questions. We have not had a single penny from the debt and are now even more out of pocket by chasing it up and getting no where.

We understand your frustration and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the situation.
Your enforcement case was progressing as expected until the debtor entered Breathing Space on 13th June 2024—the same day the Notice of Enforcement (NOE) expired. Under legal requirements, enforcement action must be suspended during a Breathing Space period, which lasted until 12th August 2024. As soon as this period ended, we passed the case to an enforcement agent. Unfortunately, there was a delay in attendance due to unforeseen circumstances with agent availability, but the visit did take place in November.
Upon attendance, it was confirmed that the debtor was in an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA), which legally prevents enforcement action on the debt. Due to the IVA status, enforcement could not proceed, and we returned the case. Normally, alternative recovery options such as bankruptcy or a charging order may be recommended, but in this instance, the IVA rendered those options unviable.
We recognize that this was a frustrating outcome, and we have attempted to contact you to discuss the next steps. We encourage you to reach out to us at your earliest convenience so we can explore any remaining options.

I was in court 22nd of May 2024 to hear yet another failed appeal from a defaulting tenant that has been going on since December 2022. They have tried every trick in the book to avoid paying the £000's they owe me. I instructed Absolute Enforcement in May to go through the Highcourt as I sadly believed they were credible and would do something. We are now in December 2024 and they constantly have failed me. I have been told by them that the industry struggling and this is normal and I am not the longest that has been waiting etc etc. So much for their TV portrayal, which is further from my experience. I have requested their complaints procedure twice and as yet have had no reply from emails. I hope that naming and shaming starts to show results, as quite frankly I should have stayed with the bailiffs. The only way I get any response to is to constantly ring them.
I have just found out that Absolute Enforcement are not even a member of Civil Enforcement Association (CIVEA), therefore you cant even contact an industry body. That speaks volume, I wish I'd done my homework first.
I have just received a reply 7th February 2025 this is after intructing them May 24 and doing the trust pilot Dec 11th 24 and NO I have not been contacted by any member of their staff reference my complaint. They are taking no further action against the defendant. My complaint was and is that they just dont get back to you in a timely manner and until recently had never answered their emails. What they are saying they have done in their reply is recent and I would suggest prompted. Absolute enforcement you need to buck your ideas up, the service you are reporting to provide is not good enough!

We would like to clarify the steps we have taken on your behalf.
Since receiving your instruction, our enforcement agents have conducted multiple visits—two at one address and a further visit at an alternative address linked to the debtor. One of these addresses was confirmed to belong to the debtor’s ex-partner, while at the other, we were unable to gain peaceful entry or make direct contact with the debtor. Additionally, the property was in poor condition, with no identifiable assets of value belonging to the business.
To further assist in enforcement, we conducted a DVLA check on a vehicle believed to be linked to the debtor. Unfortunately, the results confirmed that the vehicle was not an eligible asset for seizure. Due to the legal constraints of enforcement, we were unable to proceed further in recovering the debt.
Regarding your request for our complaint’s procedure, we acknowledge receiving your complaint and can confirm that our representative, Andy, responded and attempted to contact you directly to discuss the matter further. We apologize if you did not receive this response and welcome the opportunity to clarify any concerns.
With respect to membership in the Civil Enforcement Association (CIVEA), we would like to clarify that CIVEA membership is not a legal requirement for High Court Enforcement Officers (HCEOs). As High Court enforcement operates under a separate regulatory framework, our work remains fully compliant with legal guidelines.

Horrible company. They never came back for updates and failed to collect my debt. Demanded a call from the director who lost it when I stated my issues with Absolute Enforcement. Don’t waste your time or your money on this company. The director will just have a hissy fit about providing a horrible service and failure to be successful and try and throw fees and charges at you. I second the other 1 star review of this company and advise everyone to avoid it like the plague.

On the third visit, our agent confirmed that the debtor had no goods of value that could be lawfully seized. Additionally, our agents have a legal and ethical duty of care to ensure that enforcement actions do not target individuals who are vulnerable and without recoverable assets.
Despite the outcome, we provided you with alternative enforcement options, including the potential for bankruptcy proceedings, to continue pursuing the debt. We always strive to act within the bounds of the law and maintain the highest professional standards in all cases.
While we understand the frustration of an unsuccessful recovery, we do not condone disrespectful or unprofessional behaviour towards our staff.
