When my Acer Aspire 3 A315-21-4808 gave up the ghost a couple of weeks back I was thinking about resuscitating it. It had been a good laptop for the almost 8 years I had been using it and I felt it could continue on with a couple of new parts. What I needed were a HDD and a battery. Yes, I know I could have converted it to SSD, but this laptop was being used as a backup, so no conversion to SSD. But everything I could find, parts wise, were either generic, a brand I'd never heard of or a brand that didn't have a good review record with consumers. Then I found Acerparts.ca. They had the parts I wanted and the parts were either genuine Acer or recommended by Acer and were not that expensive when you put the price of a new laptop against them, And they wouldn't take long to get here, which to me was a big factor. The parts arrived in about a week. I didn't want this resuscitation to be a long drawn out process. The parts arrived in just over a week. And they were easy to install, as I hadn't done any PC parts swap-outs since I retired 15 years ago. PC's have certainly got much more compact and crowded inside the case in 15 years. Anyways all that to say I whole heartedly recommend Acerpart.ca and will be going back if I ever need Acer parts again.

They consistently answered their phones without long waits. They listen and think on your behalf. Super congenial, gracious, and efficient. They went out of their way to help me beyond expectations... even with my own weird error at play that would have flummoxed most others. Then they helped me with buying elsewhere when they did not have the part. (Looking at you, Lucas.) The shipping was timely. You can't ask for more.

When I reached out to this company witha question, they answered fairly quickly. When I ordered the charger/ adapter they recommended for my tablet, based on serial number and model information I provided, they did not show a picture of the cord and connector. I assumed it would be a barrel connector as the previous owner of the tablet had indicated. When I received it, however, it looked to be a standard USB cord with a C type connector, which I have a ton of already. The charger works, but I'm not sure if it is the right kind, or if it is doing damage to the tablet.

Cost of shipping was pretty high for such a small item, but Delivery was fairly quick.

Had a fitment issue ..was worried I was gonna get stiffed...called in and got an actual person...we exchanged emails until the issue was resolved...I was surprised to get that level of support for an online purchase.

Acer directed me to a 3rd party licensed company to purchase genuine Acer parts. Truthfully, at first, I was skeptical. Kevin was extremely knowledgeable and helped me get the exact part that I needed AND it was delivered quickly. You'd think those reasons would be good enough to be a repeat customer, but another plus, he was the guy answering the phone! No garbage recording or AI to stall you or mess up what you need. I highly recommend them.

Kevin Joss at Source IT went to extra lengths to try everything to make the product work with my somewhat aged laptop. When it proved to be incompatible, he made returning the item for a refund easy with prepaid shipping.

Fast support

I can confirm they are a scam company. Dealing with them was a nightmare. Wish I had Read their terms and conditions and refund policies.. in the end I got my money back but forced to submit disputes with the bank. They are fraudulent
