5. Promised if they don’t hit ROAS they will refund my deposit. Still no refund nearly two months afer ending with them.

Do not waste your time.

All the recent 1 star reviews are accurate. Do not trust them.
1. Make false promises:: said they will give us a Shopify specialist, make new creatives every week, make automations)
2. Horrible communication:: always avoiding direct questions, always have an "excuse" for everything
3. Took them 3 weeks to share new creatives after we had to email and message them 50 times. Very low quality work done via Canva
4. Was only able to get out deposit back after raising a dispute with out credit card company

It seems I'm not the only client that has been SCAMMED by AdBoost. I've had the same experience as some of the other people here: After paying a deposit, an extra 950€ were taken from my account and after 4 months of nice words and promises, this money still hasn't been returned. DO NOT FALL FOR THEM. Also, I hired them because I didn't have time to do the campaigns and I wanted to escalate, but their strategy was so bad it was just a money burning machine. Got zero results from them.

Unfortunately, our experience with this agency has been extremely disappointing. Months after cancelling our contract, unauthorized transactions were made from our business account without our consent. Despite repeated communication and assurances from their team, including promises of a refund, we have still not received the money.

This situation forced us to block our business card as a precaution, which caused the suspension of our Facebook ad campaigns and negatively impacted our business operations and revenue. The delay in resolving this issue has been unacceptable and has caused unnecessary stress and financial loss.

We have tried to resolve this matter amicably, but the lack of urgency and responsibility on their part has left us very dissatisfied. We would not recommend working with this agency based on our experience. Liar, thief and manipulator. I have emailed all of the agency members… guess what… gmail sends me back information that half of the emails of the agency doesn’t, exist. The problem still remains unresolved, if it stays like this we will take further legal steps in solving the issue.

I had a terrible experience with AdBoost, especially with the business owner (the ad manager you will get assigned to). I trusted their promises and ended up losing a lot of money. They did not deliver what they initially assured me before booking. Instead, they constantly delayed everything and failed to provide any meaningful updates.

Communication was poor, and I felt like they just kept making excuses instead of actually working on what was agreed upon. If you’re considering working with them, I strongly advise against it. Save your time, money, and energy—look for a more reliable alternative.

Read the agreement! They wont give you any money back.

I also had a bigger unknown payment on my card. The card was specially made and only linked to the meta ad account connected with Ad Boost. Luckily it was not charged with much money (since I felt they are not trustworthy (no results, poor communication, not sticking to promised deadlines). So the transaction didn't go through.
They couldn't answer where the almost -493€ are coming from, no updates (just "reaching out to our account manager" - then no updates. After reading some threads on reddit and other bad reviews I realize I wasn't the only one that this had happened.

Update: And boost also tried to delete this comment, so watch out, you don't know how many bad reviews they actually deleted.

Horrendous experience. Extra funds were taken monthly from our account. We were told this was a mistake ans would be refunded but despite many many requests we received nothing and we've taken a case against them.

DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR LIES!!! THEY SELL YOU DREAMS! I started working with Adboost last year November and Martijn was the person selling me dreams and playing Mr nice guy. I explained to him that I am a small company and if we can't get some results I might get short of money to be able to continue. He took a deposit from me and said he was happy to do weekly reviews and if Im not happy with results he would refund me the money and I can cancel during the weekly review. 3 weeks past and not a single sale using them so I couldn't afford to continue so asked Martijn to stop running ads and refund the deposit (as agreed within the contract). By the way the target was 2.75 ROAS NOT EVEN 4 AS THEY CLAIM IN THEIR OWN ADS. Since December until now (4 MONTHS LATER) they have not refunded me the money and they have lied to me multiple times about saying they processed the refund and they ignore my messages half the time. This agency is a scam believe me and they have no compassion towards struggling businesses and do not delivery on their words. NEITHER RESULTS OR REFUND OF DEPOSIT. Please dont make my mistake and waste time and money with this agency they are nothing but a fraud. I have currently raised a case against them and working on getting my money back. Please avoid the head ache. Do not believe the fake positive feedbacks I promise you they sell you dreams!!

Total scam. They promised a high and fast ROAS and did not deliver at all.

The ad testing alone cost me £1000. They charged my debit card £410 for no reason and with no permission.

They have not refunded me my deposit, the accidental charge or the money I spent testing ads with them.

They promised a 2.75 ROAS, even though they initially advertise 4, but never hit and just left ads running, costing me money.

I started working with them in August and requested my deposit back in September. It's now November and I still haven't got ANY of my money back.

Be warned. They only want to run cold traffic to copy and creatives you have created. If they don't hit gold they will abandon you and you have to foot the bill for the testing, your deposit and any other random charges they decide to make against you.

We noticed our engagement improved after running a few A/B tests. It’s honestly one of the easiest features to use and has helped us keep things fresh. Sales are up by 180% since the start of our collaboration

What I liked most was how upfront the pricing was. No hidden fees, just exactly what they say. For the value we get, it's been worth every cent.

They promised a lot in the beginning but could not deliver anything. They failed to deliver the ROI they promised. They pretended to fix my Klaviyo setup even without accessing the account. Extremely frustrated when working with them. I had to constantly chase them for any updates or plans.

Boost3 or Ad Boost is technically the same company.

P/s 1: Don't fall for their ROI promises. I was too naive to believe in such things and did not perform due diligence properly.

UPDATE:
It's been over 10 days now and obviously, no refund has been issued by the team. Proceeding with Paypal reverse charge.

All the negative reviews you see here are completely accurate. My experience with them was extremely frustrating. I had to constantly chase them for updates, and they either gave excuses about "technical errors" or promised, "It'll be done today," but nothing was ever actually done. Just like others have reported, they consistently lied, failed to deliver on any of their promises, and didn’t produce any results—let alone what was agreed upon.

If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, stay far away from this agency. You’ll likely end up trying to get your money back through a chargeback, just like I am now. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this scam altogether.

I would rather close my business than to work with this agency again!! It is literally full of lies - chasing my deposit back for months now! Martijn hides behind a gentle smile, but he's rude and not a professional person at all! Maria from the financial team literally ignores my emails! It is a joke the whole company! Please avoid with all cost!

p.s I wish I could attach here all the email conversations where you agreed to process the refund but never did! Also would gladly share the emails of other small businesses who reached out to me and shared their conversation with AdBoost how the agency tricked them. Also surprisingly you received so many stunning reviews recently, the only strange part it is that they are all very close dated to each other...I wonder how that happened, maybe is worth mentioning this to Trustpilot so they can investigate?!

And I just realised they have a previous Trustpilot review page named: "Boost3" loaded with 1 star reviews! Please avoid them; they most probably started this new account as they could not face the tons of 1 star reviews on the other page.

Ahh, and still waiting for my refund :)

They are working for free after not reaching the 2.5 ROAS goal. I had some account issues but they finally solved after one month.
Now I see how ads are still learning and 2.5 ROAS is far from being reached.
I will update this review with the results of the upcoming month
