Two new pieces of knitwear…
Two new pieces of knitwear purchased this time around (I have also bought one other fairisle sweater, two highwayman jackets, two sheepskin jackets and a custom King of the Road). Aero have always been helpful and responsive, and deliveries have been handled well. My first purchases were in the U.K. and I’m now in New Zealand and this package arrived so quickly. Thank you Aero.

Too small!
The Leather Pieces are very, very small to make any Decision (Colour, Leather)and it took a very long Time to Ship them from the UK to Switzerland.
So, not really helpful.

Thank you for your feedback and we’re sorry to hear the samples and delivery didn’t meet your expectations.
Our leather samples are intended to give a general idea of colour, weight, and texture for comparison, which is why they are provided in a smaller format (approximately 3” x 3”). While these are actually larger than many standard sample sizes offered elsewhere, we completely understand that for some people they may still feel too small when trying to make a final decision. We do mention the size of them on the listing and if customers would like pay a bit extra to get a larger sample we’d be happy to accommodate this.
Regarding delivery, sample-only orders are sent via a postal service rather than courier to help keep costs as low as possible. However, after discussing your feedback, we’re going to switch this up and actually have courier delivery as our default with the offer of reimbursement of these costs from a jacket order. This isn’t the first time the post has let us down with delivery times and we understand how disappointing this is, so we think it’s best we change this.
We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience – it’s been a big help to us. If we can assist further in helping you choose the right leather, please feel free to get in touch - we’d be happy to help.

Quality repair
My 1950s flying jacket needed to have the knitted cuffs and waist band replaced , after 12 years of use
Perfectly repaired , returned promptly.
This wasnt myfirst experirnce here , a sheepskin flying jacket had zip and cuffs replaced equally efficiently

Another truly great jumper from Aero Leathers. The Welsh Black Mountain wool is warm and regulates heat very well. A very good cut and fit. This will last me for years.

The jumper I ordered was exactly as described and feels good and the right size. Excellent quality material - 30% cashmere, 70% merino wool. Delivery service was fast which all adds up to great service.

Bought a previously enjoyed Irvin from their website. Aero went out of their way to refurbish it and i could not be happier. Customer service is second to none and I received it in Belgium inside of 3 days. Highly recommend ALC!

I own about ten leather jackets - this one is the best
I own about ten leather jackets. This is the best one I've ever had.
I worked with Aero to reconfigure their Hooch Hauler — a men's model — to fit my female frame. Russet Vicenza Horsehide. The measurement process is thorough: they send detailed instructions, you fill everything in, and then you go back and forth until it's right. I have a long back and most jackets come up short or the arms run too long, so getting the proportions dialled in mattered. The team flagged details I hadn't thought of. I chose the lining, pocket count and style, zipper details — everything. The result is a jacket designed by me, for me, and it fits like nothing else I own.
I've worn it more than any other jacket this past year. The horsehide is solid — softening now but built to last decades. My husband still wears his Aero. That one's nearly 30 years old and looks better than jackets half its age. Proper leather does that.
When the zipper gave me trouble, Aero had it fixed under warranty in about two weeks. No fuss.
If you care about leather jackets, these are the people to go to.
