I generally hate leaving bad reviews, and I did try and contact affordable world to give them a chance to make this right before posting here. Please save your time, money, and peace of mind and do not book through affordable world. We just got back from the Athens to Santorini Greece trip, and it was an unorganized, misleading, and stressful mess. I could go through the trip day by day and list everything that went wrong because of affordable worlds lack of organization, communication, and misleading details on their website. To keep this post short some major examples include: not providing the itinerary when we landed (which included our schedule for every activity), not having our names on a tour we paid for, not giving us our plane ticket reservation number to Santorini that was supposed to be booked in advance (which the airline could not find). When I contacted customer support about these incidents and asked for some reimbursement, the agent said they could not provide any refund. When I asked to be transferred to a manager they said, "that's not how this works, and we cannot help you". I do plan on opening a report with the better business bureau to try and get some type of reimbursement. Greece is amazing, please still go there, just plan the trip yourselves!

Our Japan trip was ok. Our firs tour guide Travis was not so good. One thing I will never forget is that we paid extra $99 to go to Mount Fuji but he didn't take us there, said he was told he couldn't go, didn't provide much information even though the weather was perfect that day. Later he asked us to sign a paper saying he took us to a lake instead, which made us wonder if he does that to other tours too. And to make it worse, he didn't even stop at a convenience store for us to get food for an ALL DAY trip! My mom is diabetic and had low blood sugar so we were not very happy. We were all starving on that day! He seemed rush rush rush to go home. If he didn't want to stop during his tour, he should have told everyone to bring snacks with us. It was a horrible day. We traveled half the earth to see Mt Fuji and even paid extra for it but we didn't get what we paid for. The second tour guide Cha Cha was pretty good. She explained lots of Japan history. Hotels were good too.

Our Affordable World Greece getaway package was one of the best travel experiences we’ve had, and a big part of that comes down to how well everything was handled from start to finish.

What made our experience great was how smooth and organized the entire trip felt. From the moment we booked to the final day, everything ran exactly as planned. We didn’t have to stress about logistics or timing, which let us focus on enjoying each destination. The overall value stood out right away. The pricing was hands down the best we found for a trip covering Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini, especially considering how much was included.

Affordable World is doing a lot right. The booking process was simple, fast, and easy to follow. Their agents were always available when we had questions, and every interaction felt professional and helpful. It made a big difference knowing we could reach someone quickly and get clear answers without any hassle.

Each destination was well planned and delivered a great experience. Athens was a strong start, full of history, and the guide there made everything more engaging by adding context and insight. Mykonos had a great balance of structure and free time, and the guide helped make the experience feel relaxed but still organized. Santorini was the highlight, with incredible views and a guide who really made the island come alive.

The tour guides across all three locations were excellent. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly experienced. They didn’t just go through the motions—they made sure everyone felt included and understood what they were seeing.

The transfers between cities were handled very well. Flights, ferries, and ground transportation all connected smoothly, and we never felt rushed or confused about where to go next. Hotel check-ins were just as easy. Everything was ready upon arrival, and the hotels themselves were comfortable and well located, which made exploring each area convenient.

If there’s one area for improvement, it would be providing a bit more detailed information before the trip about daily schedules. While everything worked well once we arrived, having more detail ahead of time would help with planning personal time.

Overall, Affordable World offers excellent value without cutting corners. The pricing, service, and organization all stand out. If you’re looking for a well-structured and affordable way to visit Greece, especially Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini, this company is a solid choice.

The Japan trip was great. Andy was our tour guide for Kyoto and Osaka. He was great! explained the history and significance of the buildings and monuments we attended and recommended locations to visit in our own time.

I have using this company a few times in the past and I recommended to a few friends, so we choose one more time, but this time I'm very disappointed with the trip to Japan. On first place, for the price you pay you received too little , no transfers airport to hotel and vice versa, hotel accommodations very poor, breakfasts very limited and far away from the tourist attractions, tour guides with lack communication and no much information regarding the places visited.
I wish this company could add transfers and choose better accommodations for the travelers.

Very well organized and tour guide was amazing

Our tour guide Nop, our drivers and hotel accommodations were just wonderful. We had a group of 12 so the van got a little tight on the long drives and stops between Krabi and our time in Phuket. Will definitely use AW again!

China was amazing! The hotels were fantastic and guides did a great job showing the country to us. Would recommend affordable world to others. Only wish they had more options for Europe trips.

The entire trip was above and beyond what I expected. The package from the flights to ground transportation to accommodations to the guide were top notch and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. I also never give online reviews but I had an amazing trip and experience in Thailand.

Our tour guide, Sharky, was awesome. The vacation was great. Good hotels, excursions and we had a great time.

I purchased the Istanbul and Egypt package and it was truly a once in a lifetime trip. Everything was planned and delivered as described. The hotels were very good and the guides were amazing. I had an experience of a lifetime. This is my third trip booking with this Comoany as I had previously done China and Greece and highly recommend it.

This is the last day of our trip to Thailand! We had a great time with Kitty and NoPi. All three hotels in Bangkok, Krabi and Phuket offered great accommodations! Very good breakfast included in all hotels! Beautiful views, temples and boat rides for a very reasonable price. I would recommend to everyone!

We took a trip with affordable worlds in Thailand and it was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend and we will definitely be booking another trip with them. Way more affordable than if we did it ourselves, and it came with Transportation and translation and Excursions. It was perfect!

The itinerary alone made this journey memorable, but our guide Donny elevated it to something exceptional. He struck the perfect balance—engaging without ever feeling rushed, thoughtful in his pacing, and always ready with options that added unforgettable moments to the trip. His knack for timing meant we slipped past the biggest crowds and experienced each site with a sense of calm and clarity. The Blue Shadow I riverboat also surpassed expectations, offering a polished, full‑service experience that any traveler would appreciate. Affordable World truly delivered another standout adventure.

I chose the 10 day Thailand itinerary to Bangkok, Krabi and Phuket. My main issue was the flight booking. I paid for my package in full but my flight wasn’t booked in a timely manner. When it was booked, I got an email saying I had to pay $700 for the price difference. I had to cite their policy that said there were no additional charges after it was paid in full. They booked the flight but it was basic economy the whole way and I couldn’t upgrade.
Noom, our guide was nice and very knowledgeable. The tours and stops were short. I would’ve loved more time at the floating market and the train market. The hotels in Bangkok and Krabi were beautiful. The food was great at both. The Phuket hotel was TERRIBLE. There was mildew and mold, service was poor, a few people had flooding in their rooms. Transportation was okay, there was only one bus without AC.

The trip add ons were amazing. The elephant sanctuary was a dream come true. That made the entire trip worth it. I look forward to using Affordable World again.

Everything was easy as could be. It was an amazing trip from the first day and until we left. I was a solo traveler and met the most incredible people on this tour. I would highly recommend this trip to Thailand. The tour guides, Kitty and Sharky, we absolutely the the best tour guides ever. Funny and engaging. Affordable World was top notch with their customer service, got back to me promptly, whether it was a phone call or email. Hotels and transportation were top notch. Worth every penny!! 5 Stars to Affordable World, Kitty and Sharky.

My wife and I celebrated our 15th anniversary in Thailand with Affordable World. We did the 10 day trip. We had the time of our lives!! I was wary at first since I haven't done a tour like this but by the end of the trip I told my wife I wouldn't wanna travel to a foreign country trip without booking with Affordable World.
Our guides were the most awesome people and knew Thailand very well since they were both locals who grew up in Thailand. Sharky and Kitty are the guides everyone should request. Especially Sharky. He cared so much about everyone in the group. We had a lot of people in our group but he gave each and every person an individualized experience to make sure they were having a good time. There was a lot of work that went into our tour. I'm not sure how these guys made money on us cuz we got it for cheap and we got to stay in the nicest hotels. One of our hotels was right on the beach!!
They included SOOOOO much with the tour. I thought the only way we'd have a good time is if we added tours and paid our own way on a lot of stuff. I was dead wrong. They included breakfast every single day and lunch on a few of the days. We ate like royalty!! They also included some amazing tours and great advice on what to do outside the tour. A lot of the things you can do in Thailand are super cheap or no cost at all.
I highly highly recommend this trip with Affordable World. Especially if you can get Sharky as your tour guide.

Tour guide in Bali was great. In Singapore tour guide only spent 5 hours for one day . Could have have been better

This is second time using affordableworld.com and I will continue using affordableworld.com. In fact I'm all ready planning my next trip. Highly recommend!
