Worst team I've ever seen.

We moved from Qatar to London last September. We met with many companies during the moving phase, and although it was the most expensive among them, we decided to move forward with AGS because they also have offices in London. The process went very smoothly in Qatar. The items were packaged very well. The transportation team was very polite and professional. But when it came to London AGS, things suddenly changed. First of all, the arrival of the items changed 3 times a day, but we did not mind this much. Last time, they informed us of the situation by e-mail in the evening, and no matter how many times we called, they did not answer their phone, and this is how the communication problems started. We reached out every one we could and finally managed to schedule a day for the items to be moved. Moving day was a nightmare. The team that came was very rude. They did their best not to carry the belongings. Their only concern was to finish the work and go home. They left some of the belongings outside, saying that they could not pass through the stairs. Because it was raining on them, the furniture left outside swelled the next day and we had to throw them all away. I have moved to many cities so far and have used AGS many times before. but London AGS was the worst team I have ever seen or heard of.

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking! Please don’t use this company. My son’s ps5 was stolen and we have proof it was used in the UK while our belongings were meant to be in storage. They will not help us or compensate us. We are missing several boxes. What I would like to know is where are they????!!! Stay well clear of this company.

emballage déplorable : casse et dommages

Le déménagement que vous avez pris en charge pour la somme de 12 000 euros avec service complet a eu pour résultat des dégâts incroyables sur les meubles et objets que nous vous avons confiés.
Votre assurance ne couvrira pas les destructions que vous avez provoquées : je n'ai pas listé 1 000 objets en détail.

Vous restez responsables d'employer du personnel non qualifié qui vont réussir à casser ce qui ne l'avait pas été en quarante ans et plusieurs déménagements.

Avez-vous entendu parler de boîtes pour protéger les objets très fragiles, de cartons adaptés aux contenus, d'emballage avec papier bulles, mousse de protection pour les meubles, couvertures.
Non! AGS-Globalsolutions emballe tout en vrac dans du papier!
AGS-Globalsolutions descend un canapé en cuir, en frottant les murs et en forçant le passage de porte quitte à arracher du cuir et du bois vernis!
AGS-Globalsolutions descend une table par une fenêtre pour finalement la laisser tomber quand elle touche le sol!

Des objets délicats irremplaçables en porcelaine de Chine écrasés, des diffuseurs de parfum non vides jetés dans les cartons, etc.

Tout cela par une équipe qui a écrasé le tout pour parvenir à fermer son camion! Parce qu'il fallait finir le jour même : partaient-ils en vacances ?

Late delivery, no responsibility

They have promised to make an international transfer in 20 days. So far it has been 45 days and they do not take any responsibility. Never trust them unless you have a fix delivery date under the contract. Do not forget to add compensation unless the goods are not delivered on time. This is not a company you can trust

Do yourself a favor and stay away. I have never in my life experienced such an unprofessionalism.
Moved from Belgium to Southern France with them.
Nobody seems to be aware of what should happen. Moving crew and driver are not able to communicate due to a language barrier. They treat your belongings uncarefully.
After delivery we noticed we have about € 10.000 of damaged goods. Let's see how we will be compensated. But I am anticipating a long and hard struggle.

AGS m'avait été recommandé par un couple d' amis qui ont déménagé 2 fois avec AGS : de Lyon vers USA puis des USA vers le Brésil.
J'avais un peu hésité au vu de certaines critiques négatives sur les avis internet.
Le commercial m'a expliqué que AGS déménageait 106 000 familles par an et que les 200 avis négatifs depuis ces 3 dernières années ne représentaient finalement que 0,001% des clients.

Very disappointing experience

Very disappointing experience. We hired the AGS to move intercontinentally. Having had experience with other movers before, we selected AGS for its seemingly professional international profile. 1) The packers did an awful job. We had packed some things in advance - they unpacked that and repacked everything - making a complete mess of the stuff. Books were forced into boxes they didn’t fit (damaging them), pieces of the same item packed in different boxes (splitting pairs of shoes, kids puzzle pieces ripped open and carelessly shoved into separate boxes). 2) When it came to unpacking the result was seven worse. Not only (probably because of bad packing) stuff was difficult to locate but the unpackers left us with furniture items unassembled (e.g. one leg of a lamp put in one room, kitchen items scratched because metal forks were thrown into them with no care or attention), screws from new boxed items lost as these items were taken out of the boxes and just left I assembled on the floor). At the end we had to go through the boxes in the trash to find left over items that weren’t even unpacked and thrown away by the movers! 3) The final blow was finding out a very valuable item went missing (stolen either during packing or unpacking). CONTACTED AGS on this - they didn’t even bother honouring us with a response. 3) Management-wise this had a very unprofessional feel as well - throughout the entire process the company attempted to make us pay costs that were not our responsibility (some bank fees they incurred from their own bank, issues the had with an intermediary company they contracted and chose themselves). All of this (coupled with communication problems) resulted in delays in delivery (and just demonstrated very unprofessional profile of the company overall. 4) The tracking system worked only partially and communication was often unnecessarily delayed. Not recommending and will never use AGS again if we can help it.

AGS reply to me in a rather arrogant…

AGS replied to me in a rather arrogant way, (again a pile of piffle) (below) is inaccurate, I took the company to Small Claim Court here in UK and YES I HAVE WON MY COMPENSATION AS ORIGINALLY ASKED AGS for it, but they kept writing a pile of piffle ....the simple matter is that they did not take due care of my goods and broke all the European Trading Standards Laws hence why I had the case agreed in my favour. As I said before and I am not alone here on Trustpilot, give this company a wide , very wide berth, if you don't want to have your goods stolen and damaged.....

PS Not sure why they are bringing the cost in their reply as I never queried the cost
PPS: Had anyone ever seen a boxed bed???

Dear Mrs Shelford,
Your shipment of 4.5 cbm was part of a groupage( as opposed to a SOLO container, which is much more expensive), which means the container must be full before been sent, this explains the delay. The delivery documents you signed did not mention any wet boxes, and unfortunately mold and mildew is excluded from the insurance you have subscribed. Additionally, no mention of missing boxes was ever done, nor on your claim form, nor in any of your exchanges with the insurers. We therefore regret to inform you your claim is not validated by any evidence and effectively, you have the right to initiate any recourse you may deemed necessary. Have a nice day.

Your list of contents may include 50 years of my family's mementos, including videos, tapes, photos, cards, etc.of my children's childhoods. Despite letters, emails, phone calls, AGS has not attempted to recover any of the contents of these boxes. Please contact me if you think AGS may have delivered my box of precious memories to you.

We had a very good experience with AGS

We had a very good experience with AGS. We moved from South Africa to Spain and had problems with the company in SA but Andrei tried to help us as much as he could. Also that the team that unloaded the container and brought it to our house was great! We definitely recommend AGS! Thank you so much for all your help!

Missing box

We realised, when opening the boxes, that one was not ours. So one of our boxes was missing. We have contact AGS but they couldn't find it. They sent us the insurance form, we filled it and never had a feedback. It passed 6 months now and we still have someone's box with memory staffs. We asked AGS to collect it, but nothing... is difficult for us to just put it on the trash... they don't care.
So if you have a missing box with LP discs, a bible, record tapes, a E.T. toy... please send me a msg.

Excellent move from AGS - we moved from Qatar to London and from London to Italy. All aspects were done with careful consideration and adapted to our changing situation. Friendly and cheerful staff. No breakage or damage to any of our goods.

A two sided story

My experience with AGS has two sides. From the US side, it left much to be desired. They were very attentive and communicative until they locked in on a contract and had my money. After that, I did not hear from them unless I initiated contact, or to succinctly notify me of yet another delay... When questioned about one delay after another, they were not nice or kind in giving vague explanations. When I pushed a little more, I was asked if I just wanted to terminate the whole contract! Of course, I could not at that point. They misplaced paperwork, requested documents from me multiple times, and did not seem to be communicating with each other. Not highly recommended at all.

On the Spanish side, my story was exactly the opposite! I could not have received better, kinder help. Communication was regular, and I always knew where my belongings were and the exact cause of any delays. I was provided with all forms in a timely manner and guided through completing them, clearly and concisely. Once my vessel docked, my belongings were delivered to me promptly ( after requiring double handling) and with the utmost care and consideration. Not a single item in my entire container was damaged in any fashion! Amazing. I cannot say enough great things about Sebastian and his handling of my delivery on this side. His delivery crew were also top notch. Very professional, happy, and friendly! I would recommend AGS Spain any and every time!

To rebut the response AGS posted on this thread: I was not asked to pay the bill until just before Christmas. The bill has been paid in full at this time. AGS sent me an email apologizing for "unavoidable" issues in this move. There was nothing unavoidable. They low-balled the estimate to get my belongings, then increased the bill by nearly a third. They refused to tell me where my belongings were, even going to far as to tell me they had been taken to Kobe. Avoid this company.

Dear Customer,

We would like to clarify a few points:

Firstly, you were given the amount owed to AGS in October 2022 with request to pay, when you advised that you were excluding AGS from further being involved with your shipment. Thereafter, as no payment was received for services rendered, reminders were sent towards the end of each month to advise that storage costs for another month would accrue.
You proceeded with payment on 31 January 2023. AGS has agreed to carry the added storage costs from15 January to 10 February 2023 to assist you in finalising your new logistics plans.
Your volume estimate has been conducted professionally according to FIDI-FAIM standards and the increase in your quote was due to freight increases as you have not returned your signed quote soon enough to secure the booking of your container to the shipping line.
Finally, you were given the contact details of our agent in Okinawa on two occasions (in October and November 2022) which you now keep preferring to ignore and accuse AGS of “refusing” to tell you where your belongings are.
AGS has been transparent with you along the whole process and wishes you all the best in sending and receiving your effects at destination.
