DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY
I placed the order for a building on February 23 2026. It is now July3 2026 and they are telling me the earliest it will be is installed is sometime in August. They have been saying next month for 2 months. At this point I am just going to try and get my deposit back and move on. Do not believe any of the lead times they post on the website. I assume they just point those lead times and then string you along. Ordering was easy and response has been quick but what does that matter if 6 months later you have no building. Do not give this company your money. I had to give a 1 star because negative stars are not available.

Mr. Killebrew,
I am so incredibly sorry the wait time has exceeded the estimate provided by the builder when you ordered. We can absolutely provide a refund of your deposit if you don't wish to wait for the upcoming date currently being forecasted.
Please reach out to our office to finalize the request to cancel with a refund if that is your preference. You can reach us at 800-488-6903.
We look forward to assisting you further, and again, I sincerely apologize for your extended wait.

Alan's Factory Outlet is a wonderful…
Alan's Factory Outlet is a wonderful company. The website is extremely user friendly. It lets you build your own unit, whatever you should need, choose your own color, style, roof, sides, open closed, everything is there for the perfect setup. After building what you need, it gives you the price so you know upfront how much your paying. You don't have to call and get pressured with upselling. Put down a down payment and they send a email to let you know when they'll be there. They show up on time, build your unit and that's it! Simple, professional and communication...that's it! This is my second carport and it has been a pleasure not having to do anything but read a couple of emails. DEFINITELY going to continue using this company!

When I placed the order I asked the lead time and was told 3-4 weeks right now. After the order was placed I called the installer and they told me 90+ days before I will see it. Called Alan Factory Outlet back and explained this and they refused to give me a refund.

Mr. Klein,
I am so very sorry for any confusion that may have occurred. I do see where we provided the estimated lead time of 4+ weeks when you placed the order, but it's possible you overlooked that? It was sent to you via email on 6/19/26 if you would like to review it at this time.
Our company strives to be as up front as possible, and I do apologize if we fell short in any way.
Warmest Regards,
Suzie

Cancelled my order
Cancelled my order. Alan’s and the installer did a bunch of back and forth on what permitting was required and who would get it. Ultimately it ended up 100% on me after a week of communication. Clunky, unorganized and unproductive. If I’d known all this from the get go I wouldn’t have wasted my time and took my business elsewhere.

Mr. Schreck,
We were equally disappointed that the permitting requirements in your area had recently changed. Our company truly wishes your permit office had not changed their permit regulations so we could have assisted you, as was standard practice previously.
It is our hope that you can find a building that will not only meet your needs, but also meet your permit requirements, even if that is not from us.
Warmest Regards,
Suzie
