Read the cancellation fees before…

Read the cancellation fees before booking. Yes the fees are clear, however you would think having to cancel as it is not safe to camp in over 40c heat, there would be health and safety concerns and a full refund. Travel insurance will not cover this unless cancelled by the host, which won't happen as the website is a middle man website.

We also had to cancel another booking earlier in the year due to repeated emails from the campsite we'd booked advising of ongoing construction and events being held on site for the World Cup, all of which were only advised once booked, and Allcamps took partial payment for this despite more than a month's notice of cancellation. I will avoid this website in future and book directly with the campsite I wish to visit.

Very poor customer service, as below another customer had a family member pass away and they still charged the full cancellation fee. Shocking behaviour.

Since you did not provide any booking information, we are unable to see your booking details. Therefore, we can only provide a general reply to the issue you have raised.

Although the temperatures in Europe are very high at the moment, campsites do not allow free cancellations. Since we don´t own any accommodations or pitches, we have to rely on the rules set by our partners.

While we can imagine that the current warmth can be uncomfortable, high temperatures are not considered a valid reason for a free cancellation.

We regret that we were not able to provide a satisfactory solution.

Book elsewhere - dont trust!

We arrived at the camp to find that it was effectively a building site. The "premier chalet" we had paid for and been promised turned out to be a caravan in very poor condition. It had a strong unpleasant smell, broken parts throughout, a loose and potentially dangerous electrical fitting in the children's room, broken glass, a non-working TV, and fixtures that had not been fitted correctly.

I immediately spoke to the site representative, who agreed that the accommodation was not acceptable and moved us. However, due to a lack of availability, we could only be moved for 3 days of our 7-day holiday. We were assured that a permanent solution would be found by the third day, but when that day arrived, nothing had been arranged. As a result, I had no choice but to pay out of my own pocket for alternative accommodation through another agent on the site. The representative assured me that I would be compensated for this.

After returning home, I contacted the company to resolve the matter. They offered only a small refund, which does not even cover half of my additional costs, let alone the disappointment, inconvenience, and disruption to our family holiday. This was a refund rather than meaningful compensation.

Throughout the complaints process, the company has been extremely dismissive and rude, repeatedly claiming that I had not followed their procedures. In reality, I contacted all the numbers provided, but no one was available to help when assistance was needed.

To make matters worse, the holiday listing advertised children's bikes as being included. Upon arrival, the site representative informed us that they had never offered bikes. The company later claimed they were simply sold out, which directly contradicts what we were told on site.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid booking through this company. Save yourself the stress, disappointment, and extra expense by booking directly.

There was no option to give zero stars.
I updated my booking prior to arrival to say I wasn’t bringing my dog. I also told them at reception when I was checking in yet they still charged me £30. To me that’s theft. But I let it go. We also wernt told the swimming pool would be under construction. Again I let that go and told my children they will just have to make do without one of the main things they came here to do. But the worst part of it all was the construction workers arriving at 8 am firing up there diggers and parking there dump truck in our parking spot. I couldn’t believe it. I tried to complain but had absolutely no help from reception. The people here are really rude both staff and locals and the construction workers have no health and saftey knowledge and it’s definitely not a safe environment for children. I’ll update this before I leave. But for the record I’m giving this a rating of minus 5 stars. Be aware before you book. I would never come back.

Not a great experience,booked a holiday for August,had to cancel in April due to family bereavement only to find the cancellation fee was £151 due to their cancellation policy which wasn’t made clear when I originally booked the holiday in march

Camp de Liestert April 2026

We stayed in 1 of the lodges ar Camp de Liestert. It was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. All the staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. The pools, lake and playgrounds were all amazing for my 8 and 11 year old children. We would definitely visit again.

Booking was easy

Booking was easy, thorough, and online help was helpful. I declared i have a disability and they immediately emailed back to make sure I knew what to expect and what my accommodation will be like when I arrive.
