I went for a consultation with Professor Mahajan as I was looking at having a mini facelift. On meeting the Professor I was put at ease and had everything explained to me regarding the sort of outcome I could expect. I had jowls and a crepey skin on my neck which I hated. On consultation the professor advised me to have liposuction on my neck to get the best results from my procedure.

On the 29th January I went to Evolve Medical for my procedure. I was met by Jay who was the nurse who would be with me throughout my operation. Jay was fantastic very caring and made me feel at ease the whole time. I was shown to the theatre where I was given a gown and then had my anesthetic which was a bit uncomfortable but not unbearable My liposuction was done first which was not painful just a noise from the suction and then my procedure began and all was good with regular top ups of anesthetic throughout to stop any pain. Approximately four hours later I was sat up and had my face bandaged.

My recovery has been good and the stitches dissolved in around two weeks. The bruising and swelling started to subside in around six weeks. I now have a jawline and a more youthful look and can honestly say that I do not regret going through with this. Professor Mahajan is fantastic and I would not hesitate to go back to him for another procedure. All the staff at Evolve are really lovely, Jay who put me at ease throughout and Rachel who gave me her professional advice.

Mini Facelift.

This is my 3rd procedure with Professor Mahajan. He is very highly regarded and respected within the plastic surgery industry. I trust his judgement implicitly, he is honest, he will manage your expectations, and will tell you exactly what results you can expect.
It was a no brainer to choose Mr.Mahajan for my mini facelift. I am 62 years old, and I had become quite “jowly”, and my neck was very “crepey”. I also had some very deep marionette lines. In short, I felt very old on the outside, and I still feel very young on the inside.
I attended evolve medical for my consultation, it’s very relaxed, very professional and the staff are lovely. On seeing Mr. Mahajan, he told me that I would still have some marionette lines after surgery as they were very deep, he suggested liposuction of the neck, and I was more than happy with his very honest approach, Mr Mahajan will always ask you to go away and think about your decision before agreeing to surgery, I had however been thinking about this surgery for 3 years, and I know, and trust my surgeon.
On the day of surgery I was gowned up and taken to Evolves operating theatre. I had a wonderful nurse called Jay who was by my side through the whole procedure. The theatre was very relaxed, music of your choice was offered, and Jay was super reassuring as was Mr. Mahajan.
The first part of the procedure was to numb my face, although this part is quite uncomfortable, it wasn’t as bad as I had anticipated, again Jay was with me every step with reassurance and kindness. Once the face was numb, surgery began. The liposuction came first, I couldn’t feel anything, you can hear the suction at points, but this didn’t bother me. Each side of the face took around 1.5hours. There was no pain at all, again, slight discomfort at times, but Mr Mahajan would top up the anaesthetic if required. Around just over 3 hours I was on my feet and in the recovery room for a blood pressure check. You are required to wear a compression bandage for a week, this wasn’t a problem and was actually quite comforting to me. After pain was minimal and I only took paracetamol for a couple of days. You are required to sleep on your back, so I recommend a V pillow. The stitches were dissolvable, and mine were all but dissolved and gone in between 7-11 days. I can safely say, this operation has made me look and feel much more youthful, it’s subtle, and I actually have a lovely jawline again. Mini Facelift was above and beyond what I expected. I am very pleased with the final result at 3 months. I look many years younger but the look is completely natural. I recognise my younger self when I look in the mirror, which is a very pleasant surprise every time!

The upper blepharoplasty procedure was completely painless. I had a small amount of post op bruising, but could carry on with life almost immediately after.
The recovery time was around one week. Once my strips were removed the result was immediately evident.

I am extremely pleased with the results of my upper blepharoplasty, and cannot hesitate to praise the skills of professor ajay mahajan. He was calming easy to talk to and such a lovely man personally.

I had breast reduction surgery on 21st November 2024 at The Yorkshire Clinic, Bingley with Mr Mahajan. He came highly recommended but I also did my own research before choosing him.

I felt listened to, respected and comfortable.

The NHS offered me therapy/counselling and antidepressants, so it was a very refreshing experience having someone listen to and acknowledge my concerns over my 32GG/HH breasts.

The consultation for the examination was made very comfortable for me with a female nurse present and my husband was allowed to stay in the room too.

There was no pressure for me to make a decision and I was given lots of clear written information to take home and digest. I was encouraged to ask any and every question I had - I wasn’t rushed, I wasn’t dismissed but more importantly he set my expectations as to a) what I should expect after surgery with regards to movement and recovery, but also the expected breast size. He was very clear about my expectations versus reality and looking back that was one of the most important factors.

Mr Mahajan is very well respected at Yorkshire Clinic by everyone whom I spoke to, from the cleaner to the staff nurse to the receptionist. This was very reassuring.

I am now 8 weeks post surgery. My breasts have settled down and feel very comfortable. I am over the moon and delighted with the outcome of the size, symmetry, scars/healing, look and feel of my breasts.

I couldn’t be more delighted with my breasts but also with the overall care and attention of Mr Mahajan.

I have never really had what one would call a defined jaw line, and even in my thirties I would look in the mirror and wish my ‘turkey neck’ would vanish. A friend had a Midi Face lift and Upper Eyelid Surgery last year, with Professor Mahajan, I was impressed with her results so at 56 I decided I would finally do something about my appearance and I booked my consultation.
Professor Mahajan was clear about the procedure, what I could expect to achieve and he answered my questions honestly. I booked my procedure the same day, I had been thinking about this for twenty years. The Professor Mahajan and staff at Evolve were professional, warm, welcoming and reassuring throughout the procedure and afterwards. I had a Midi face lift, upper eyelid surgery and liposuction on my neck area, so the procedure was 5 hours in total. There was a little pain and discomfort at times but this was soon forgotten and I would definitely do it again. Everything went according to plan and the aftercare was superb.
I went back to work on day twelve, following my procedure. There was still a little swelling and some fading bruising around my eyes but nothing too much. Overall, I think the end results speak for themselves. I have a more youth full appearance, my eyes look awake and more importantly, I have the jaw line I always wanted and my ‘turkey neck’ has finally disappeared. Yet I feel that I still look natural.

My experience with Professor Mahajan was nothing short of amazing. Being a 21 year old girl I felt self-conscious of the fact I was having a Labiaplasty surgery but from my first consultation I knew it was the right decision for me and I felt confident that I was in the best care. I was initially told by another surgeon I would need a fleur de lis (vertical scar) to address the upper abdominal area. Professor Mahajan assured me he could achieve a good result with a standard tummy tuck. He was professional, straight to the point and confident which put me at ease. I was shown examples of his previous work that he believed my end result would look like. Professor Mahajan has done an amazing job and far exceeded my expectations.
Everyone at the Yorkshire Clinic was helpful, friendly and professional. The aftercare was fantastic, I stayed in hospital as long as was needed and nothing ever felt rushed or too much trouble. I had a breast uplift surgery (mastopexy) with Professor Mahajan. I am 24 years old and after losing 6 stone I felt my breast were sagging and loose. After doing research about whether to opt for implants/uplift I decided a consultation would be best.

Professor Mahajan discussed all options with me in detail taking into account my desires, anatomy and goals. I was happy with the size of my breasts in a bra and so opted for an uplift. He informed me on what to expect pre, during and post surgery including scarring and pain.

On the day I was admitted to the ward and was down for surgery at 9am. All the team were fantastic and reassuring, my pain was very bearable afterwards only having paracetamol and small amount of anti sickness.

I stayed overnight and was discharged early the next day. The nurses, pharmacy team, anaesthetist etc were superb, I could not fault them.

After 2 weeks I attended the clinic where my dressings were removed, I am absolutely thrilled with my results, I can NOT believe the result he has achieved with no implants. Super natural and very very neat scars. Professor Mahajan has provided me with great aftercare and support, I could not recommend him enough.

If you're considering any breast surgery please book in to discuss your options, my only regret is not doing it sooner!

I am delighted with the results of my mini face-lift performed by Professor Mahajan. I had been considering the surgery for some time but was apprehensive about having a general anaesthetic. However, when I found out I could have the surgery with local, I booked in a consultation with the Professor who had been recommended by a friend. The procedure was carried out in the morning and I was home by early afternoon. The surgery itself was an amazing experience and I always felt I was in good hands with the Professor. I was particularly worried about the scarring around my face, however the Professor did a fantastic job with stitching and the scars are smooth and barely noticeable around my hairline 3 months after surgery. The surgery has given me a tight jawline and a neck-lift. I was shocked when the Professor showed me the before and after photographs. The surgery has taken years off my age. I am in my 50's and was recently asked for photo ID when buying a bottle of wine at my local supermarket. Job done, thank you Professor!

On my 58th birthday, I decided to treat myself to aesthetic surgery. I hadn’t liked the way I looked for a while, I had Jowls.
My husband and I googled consultants in the area and after reading a few reviews, we decided Professor Ajay Mahajan sounded like the man for me. I arranged an appointment and went to see him.
He was very nice and he explained he didn’t think I needed a full face lift. He said I would benefit from a mini facelift procedure, he agreed I had jowls but pointed out if he didn’t think it was necessary he wouldn’t have offered the surgery. This put me at ease as I now knew he wasn’t agreeing to this surgery just because I decided I wanted it.

We arranged an appointment date at Evolve Medical and I was booked in.
On the day of my surgery, I was really nervous and scared in fact when I arrived there, I nearly had second thoughts. Professor Mahajan explained the procedure to me in detail and put me at ease. There was no pressure to go ahead, he allowed me some time to think. decided to go ahead and into surgery I went.
I was awake all through the mini facelift surgery and can honestly say I did not feel a thing. Professor Mahajan was chatting to me all the way through and we actually had quite a laugh.

I returned home with arranged appointments for regular checkups. Within two weeks, I was amazed by the result. It has now been three years since my surgery and I still look the same, it’s amazing.

I highly recommend Professor Ajay Mahajan to anybody considering this procedure or any other procedure for that matter, based on my experience.

Highly recommend Professor Mahajan! The perfect size & scars are so neat!

I was considering breast reduction for a few years as I am 24 and felt my chest size was seriously affecting my confidence, mental and physical heatlh. I always used my size as an excuse not to exercise as they hurt so much and were always in the way! No clothing looked good on me (or even appropriate) because my breasts were just too big. I was regularly buying tops 2 sizes bigger than I needed, and buying bras was such a difficult and expensive task !!
Professor Mahajan validated my feelings towards my chest size, their weight, and the reasons why I was so unahppy with them.

On the day of the surgery, I was so nervous. I was admitted at 7 in the morning and went into theatre only 2.5 hours later, after meeting with the Anaesthetist, who was so comforting and kind, and Professor Mahajan, who drew out what he was going to change and remove,. All of the hosptial staff were also so lovely to me and considerate of my nerves! I was discharged only 2 days later and recovered at home for 2 weeks.

4 weeks post op and I am so so happy with the outcome! They are a perfect size for my body shape and the attention to detail is immaculate. The scars are so neat! I am very pleased with Professor Mahajan's brilliant work, I HIGHLY recommend him for anyone who feels they are unsure of who they'd like to do this procedure for them. I am so grateful for his consideration towards my reasoning behind committing to such a major operation. No regrets whatsoever! This was the best decision I have ever made.

I had considered having this procedure for a long time, and as soon as I met Mr Ajay Mahajan and his team at Evolve, my decision was made.
I had every confidence in Mr Mahajan’s skill and professionalism and any doubts completely disappeared.
The surgery itself was a very personalised and friendly experience and I received excellent care and reassurance throughout. I would also add that the initial post op pain that I had anticipated was actually very minimal.
I found the worst part to be the chaffing and rubbing on my underwear for the first 3-4 weeks, so I would advise big plain cotton underwear. I also turned them inside out to avoid the seams!
It has now been 10 weeks since my procedure, I am nicely healed and resumed all regular activities (including spin bike)!
I only have an occasional feeling of tightness on the scar tissue which I am using bio oil on.
I am very pleased with the result surgery achieved and feel much more positive about this part of my body.
As many reviewers say, I should have had this done years ago as I now regret the time I spent in such discomfort and unhappiness with the appearance.

After many years of feeling insecure and self-conscious about my appearance due to having small breasts, I am now feeling confident and do not have to think about what I can/cannot wear. Professor Mahajan was recommended by a close friend who had previously undergone surgery at The Yorkshire Clinic. Although at first, I was feeling very anxious and apprehensive, I was soon made to feel at ease and comfortable. At my first consultation Professor Mahajan was very informative and was reassuring of which method/implant size would be best for me.
Within 3 months I had my first consultation, the procedure carried out and my 2-week review. I am blown away with the minimal scaring and how tucked away they are! I am over the moon with the results and wish I had done it much sooner! I can’t wait to see how they settle over the coming months.
