Terrible

Terrible. I hope people read this. First off I ordered an expensive phone so I was excited. Hoping nothing goes wrong. Waiting 10 days( have no phone during this ) a woman came to deliver on the date and she needed a password. I gave her the right password nice and slow but she put it in wrong being rushed. Which is enraging because she couldn’t hand me the package and I had to wait until tomorrow. That woman’s fault.so I call Amazon.ie for a request redelivery because the woman didn’t want to call manager or something. And they said yes to redeliver and says they will come back and I will get a new one time password. She failed to come and told them she had package problems. Which I refuse to believe. I think she couldn’t be bothered but I could be wrong. Then the following day nice young lad comes and gives me my package but I open it and it’s a pool filter. Insanity the stress I had because of this chaos between this situation.what is up with the warehouse workers and delivery system. I’ve been fooled and also it made me chat to ai before hardly finding a real person number. The people on the phone were very helpful and kind but the audacity to mess this up twice gave me stress so bad. The audacity that the woman didn’t want to call her manager and she just left is insane she needs to be checked. And she didn’t even come back when she was told. I hope people read this in Ireland and know this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with Amazon. They also be fine but what was so bad this time they messed twice in one order. 1 star because my experience recently was terrible and stressful. That’s all by the way I don’t end up getting it re delivered. I bought off a different company.

The customer support is down the toilet. The first agent that I also got yesterday, I thought today was AI, but on checking, it was a real, very clueless person. Yesterday, the supervisor was ok, but today they could not even type proper English, and it was like speaking to an iceberg in the Antarctic. I did not leave feedback yesterday because I thought maybe the person was new, but today's supervisor made me fed up. AVOID like the plague. Amazon is no longer what it used to be, so buy elsewhere. The issue was about a gaming chair advertised to carry a person of 180kg being used by a 80kg person and it literally falling apart at the seams - so false advertising. The seller offered to replace the chair with the same bad chair and keep the broken one, but if a refund, pack up the broken one - so trying to intimidate me into taking another chair because packing up the broken one will be unpleasant. Wowzer. Amazon decided that it does not qualify under the A-Z guarantee when I upset the supervisor and seller by saying no the chair is rubbish.

No refund received

I placed an order for two items and paid etc. I received a confirmation email. I the. Received a confirmation of dispatch. Then am emailed to say my order is ‘undeliverable’ with no explanation given but an undertaking to provide a refund within 14 days. In spite of several attempts by me to make contact: emails as I can’t find a phone number… I still have not received a refund. This was 2 months ago. I am so disappointed with this and will never purchase from this site again as I don’t trust them to do as they claim.

Don't bother

Anecdotal but every single item I've wanted to purchase has been available cheaper, and with better delivery times from the UK storefront, and sometimes even as far away as Amazon Germany. The deals for Prime day are a complete joke, compared to what the UK store offers it's night and day and I feel like I scammed myself switching over my Prime subscription to Amazon Ireland. Will be switching back, if I continue to use it at all. Don't get me started on the customer service either. Ordered an item, a film (Bugonia). No sign of it after a week so checked the details - release date had been changed to 2099 on it. Contacted customer care, it was just AI bots whose solution was telling me when it was coming to Netflix. Blood pressure was through the roof. One of many terrible experiences with them.

My DeLonghi Nespresso EN510.W Lattissima One Coffee Machine with Milk Frothing bought via Amazon is less than 1 year old. It is now kaput. I have the warranty number YET despite returning for repair via Amazon, Amazon.ie (not sure why when i bought it in the UK) have told me after 1 day of receiving they are returning it and can't repair it. I talked to Nespresso, DeLonghi and Amazon who said it is the others issue, where can i get my money back via the warranty or is this just lip service, NEVER EVER should a piece of technology stop working within a year, hopeless , all descaling has been done throughout that year. Took my money and cancelled my order

i ordered a large item and they took the payment from my account. after 2 weeks waiting i checked to see my messages section and the item was cancelled. i didnt cancel it and i received no notification from Amazon. i contacted customer service who told me to wait 3-7 days to get my money back into my account. really really appalling service. buyer beware. i went onto buyitdirect and purchased the same item and this was delivered a week later with lots of messaging advising when it was coming. Buyer Beware if you are purchasing from Amazon, take my advice and go to buyitdirect.

Terribly Slow

Terribly, Terribly slow delivery even on prime items. Much quicker delivery an nearly all items if ordered on amazon.co.uk. Delivery drivers also just throw packages at the door take photo and walk away even when you are clearly home.

Excellent customer service and refund policy

I had an issue with an order that was marked as delivered but had not been received. Amazon customer service dealt with the matter quickly and fairly.

The process was straightforward once I contacted them, and they arranged a refund without making the situation difficult. I really appreciated the helpful and efficient customer service.

I ordered Ericacious compost that was due to be delivered 10 days ago. I have not received it and having reported this, I was directed to Elevaree, the company who supplied it. It been two and for with very poor Amazon Customer Services. All I need is to have my money refunded.

Amazon.ie provides no effective way to speak with or chat to customer service. My order was lost, and every support link just sends me around in pointless loops. There’s no direct help, no accountability, and no clear way to resolve an issue. For a company of this size, the lack of accessible customer support is unacceptable.

I have found Amazon to be a very good Site, and had no problems.However I purhased a cooling blanket for my dog, who subsequently punctured it, and licked the gel inside.There were no details as to the safety of the item, I rang Vet, who told me to to immediately to him, and he induced vomiting for my dog, as we had no idea if gel was toxic!.I really thought I was going to lose my dog.I informed Amazon, who were very helpful at the start, and I saw on the Sellers link, the gel was harmless, but not on the box or anywhere my Vet and I checked.Amazon suggested I contact Seller !I did, but no joy, pushed from one to another.The box and mat were disposed of, so they have ignored me.I have proof from Vet, but Seller and Amazon not interested in this Item.I wouldn't wany antone else to go through this.

OFFICIAL COMPLAINT: Gross Misconduct by Manager Narmadha, Corporate Fraud, and Severe Financial Disruption to a Sole Trader (Order: 404-3633867-7921946)

To Whom It May Concern at Amazon Ireland,

I am writing this not merely as a disappointed customer, but as an outraged Sole Trader whose business operations and livelihood have been intentionally sabotaged by Amazon’s systemic incompetence, deceptive practices, and the utterly disgraceful misconduct of your management team.

Here are the facts of this logistical and customer service nightmare:

The Deception & Broken Promises: On May 14th, I ordered a 3x3m Pop-Up Gazebo via Amazon.ie, explicitly needed for my pre-booked commercial business markets on May 29th, 30th, and 31st. I purposely buffer my schedules; the delivery was promised for May 26th. When it failed to arrive by 10:00 AM on the 26th, I contacted customer support. An agent named Gokul explicitly and unconditionally guaranteed that my parcel would arrive that very day. It did not.

Conflicting Lies & Gaslighting: Today, the system arbitrarily changed the delivery date to May 29th—the exact day my business operations begin, making it completely useless. When I contacted support again, an agent made a bizarre, conflicting offer: telling me I could keep the product for free and receive a full refund. I rejected this. I do not want handouts; I want the equipment I legally paid for so I can run my business.

The Incompetence of Tracking: Your courier has provided zero updates. When I asked how a global giant like Amazon completely fails to audit its courier partners or track its own shipments, I was met with nothing but robotic, automated, copy-paste evasions.

Manager Narmadha’s Gross Misconduct & Fraudulent Escalation: I demanded to speak with a supervisor, and Manager Narmadha joined the chat. Narmadha completely failed to provide the coordinates of my item. When I demanded a written email confirmation guaranteeing Saturday delivery, Narmadha attempted to trap me by sending a completely different email stating: "The item is expected on Saturday, if not, you can request a replacement." 5. The Cover-Up & Abrupt Chat Closure: When I realized I was being lied to and that the item would clearly not arrive by Saturday, I offered a resolution based on their initial prompt: a €70 gift voucher to mitigate my immediate business losses. They abruptly refused, pushed aggressively for a cancellation, and the moment Narmadha realized they were caught in a web of contradictory lies, Narmadha cowardly and unilaterally shut down the chat session right in my face while I was typing. I never even received the promised confirmation email.

Let me make this unequivocally clear to Amazon Senior Management:
This is not a casual consumer delay; this is Direct Business Disruption (Loss of Earnings). I have taken full screenshots of every single chat session, the broken guarantees, the courier's dead tracking, and Narmadha’s pathetic escape by closing the chat.

I demand:

An immediate, comprehensive investigation into Manager Narmadha’s unprofessional and deceitful behavior.

A definitive, real-time location of my parcel.

A written commitment regarding compensation for the financial damage caused to my Friday-Sunday business operations due to your false representations.

This matter will not be swept under the rug. If this is not resolved immediately by a high-level executive, these chat transcripts, screenshots, and the full story of Amazon Ireland ruining a local sole trader's business week will be escalated to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) and shared across every corporate review platform.

Order Number 171-6023180-7139561 Doggy sellers on Amazon

Order Number 171-6023180-7139561. The order placed on Amazon was with company British Outdoor Store and for Golf Range finder with slope. I read reviews which said good things about the item but some said it never came and they got fake details for tracking. I can confirm this is true, and what annoys me most is Amazon are aware of complaints about the seller but have not highlighted this on there website and now im having to wait another 48 hours before they refund, plus probably upto 5 business days to get my money back. Stay away from Amazon with doggy sellers and poor service for customers. Amazon should be disabling any trader account while its under investigation to protect the customer from making a purchase they will not receive. This should then show on the traders account or item they are selling to warn us as customers. This would stop any false traders and give trust to us as customer when we purchase at item on Amazon. In this day and age customers need to be protected by companies as big as Amazon so we can trust in what we buy on there website.

RIP off Amazon Ireland

I bought a work table from Amazon Ireland last year it’s being stored in my shed I only take it out to do some light gardening work so I took it out last week and opened it in doing so one of the legs broke off now this table wasn’t cheep I think I paid €120 it was used about 5 times , now despite spending €1000s with Amazon there is no or I can’t find a number for them I have looked for hours , the manufacturer states it’s guaranteed for 5 years but I have tried and tried to contact Amazon to no avail
