Complaint Summary
I am filing a complaint against Ambar Wear for failure to honor their advertised 30-day money-back guarantee and for selling a product that does not meet advertised claims.
Details of the Complaint
On May 12, 2026, I placed Order #A72525 with Ambar Wear totaling $43.80 for multiple “Invisible Camel Toe Thong – High Rise” items. [Gmail - Or...confirmed | PDF]
The product was marketed with claims including:
Eliminating wardrobe malfunctions
Providing comfort for extended wear
Smooth fabric and wide gusset for improved fit
Suitable for daily activities (gym, work, shopping, etc.)
After receiving the items, I used the company’s size chart to select appropriate sizes. However, the products did not fit as indicated and were not consistent with the sizing guidance provided.
Upon wearing the garments over several days, I experienced the following issues:
Poor fit despite using the provided size chart
Rolling and shifting during wear
Significant discomfort
Failure to perform as advertised
These issues directly contradict the product claims regarding comfort, fit, and performance.
Attempts to Resolve

The company responded by refusing a return, citing a “no returns on underwear” policy for hygiene reasons. Instead, they offered a 50% discount code on a future purchase. [Gmail - Or...confirmed | PDF]
I responded that:
The order falls within their advertised 30-day guarantee window
The items do not fit and do not perform as advertised
I am requesting a refund based on their stated policy
Ambar Wear has refused to honor the refund and has not provided a resolution.

Their products are cheaply made in China and dont fit properly. I havent even worn them and tried to return but because they are underwear they say you cant return them. YOu can return other brands as long as they are not worn, which these arent. They offered me a discount on future purchases, but like I sad to them, why would I purchase anything from them if the quality is subpar. No thanks. Money not well spent and all of the brand new underwear will have to go directly into the trash. Save you money, not worth it at all even when they offer a discuont. Even witht he discount you are paying too much for a poor product.

Spent nearly $60 on 4 pairs of panties in a size small because thats what I wear. The panties that came.were child sized and 3 days after I reached out to request an exchange or return I was told there are no exchanges or returns but they would offer me 50% off another order. The material is advertised as very stretchy but it has absolutely NO STRETCH at all. I couldn't get them past my knees and I weigh 115lbs. This company not only sells misrepresented products, they do not stand by their advertised 30 day money back guarantee. Buy from someone else!
Bought some of the underwear
Bought some of the underwear, they were not what was advertised at all. So contacted customer service to return them, I received one email denying the 30 day no risk, no questions asked return. I have not received any other response my follow-up email. I wished that I had researched more before buying. I would not recommend this company for any of their products.
BUYER BEWARE!
BUYER BEWARE!! I purchased what I thought was the high waist underwear from Ambar Wear and accidentally got the low waist with the elastic band around the top. I noticed the mistake immediately and so I then purchased the correct ones assuming I'd be able to cancel the initial order since it was caught immediately. Well, I quickly found out that Ambar Wear does not have an option for cancelling an order and there is no way to speak with them so I spent weeks trying to get a refund for the initial incorrect order but got nowhere! I'm pretty sure it was a bot responding to my many emails and they originally told me that they would process my refund but then said underwear are not returnable which I would understand under normal circumstances, however, I emailed them immediately to try and cancel the order before it shipped and didn't get a response so now I spent $165 on underwear that I do not need!! I told them the underwear was unopened and unused but they refused. Ambar Wear you need to have an option on your website that allows people to cancel an order immediately if placed in error and you need to have ACTUAL PEOPLE to speak with if you want to be known for having good customer service!! I'm truly disappointed with your company and this experience!
Do Not Honor Returns for any reason.
They do not honor returns even though they state “30 day returns - no questions asked”. False advertising. Product is not as pictured and sizes run small and not the same as their size chart. Even my daughter who wears a XXS can not fit in the Small. Wrong threading used as it does not stretch. Bad product overall and Worst Customer Service. They don’t care at all about the customer.

I ordered a bundle of 6 pairs of underwear and when they arrived I tried on 1 pair over my undergarments, and found them to run very small. I attempted to exchange and they would not allow it. Stating it was clearly written in their polices. I think they should communicate this openly upfront, perhaps at check out so customers are aware. I would have never ordered a bundled set if I knew they were not going to be reasonable. I'm not happy that I wasted $60.

Complete scam – product nothing like advertised
Scam! This company is extremely misleading. The product I received looks nothing like the photos shown online. The material is incredibly cheap, not seamless as advertised, and the fit is completely off (runs very small).
The waistband is especially disappointing—it’s not actual fabric but a cheap, garter-like band that shows visibly through the leggings, making it very unflattering and uncomfortable.
I reached out to customer service and even sent a side-by-side photo comparing what I received versus what was advertised. After that, I was completely ignore. no response at all. There is also no phone number available to contact them directly.
Overall, this feels like a complete scam. I would not recommend purchasing from this company.

the fit is terrible. Nowhere does it say no refunds on underwear, yet they will not accept the 3 other ones I bought that I did not even put on (I bought 4 so I know it doesn't fit). wasted money.
Falsely advertised product and fake return policy
DO NOT buy from this company! I bought a bunch from them, took 10 days to process and more days to ship from China. Poor quality and worst of all, it doesn't work as advertised. I contacted Customer Service and wanted my money back as because it was straight false advertisement. On their website it says free return, but when I reached out, they said underwear is not qualified for free return..but underwear is all they sell! This company is just fraudulent all around.
