The camp was really well organised and there were people all around to help with any needs, it was really enjoyable!

Although as a first timer applying for camp is extremely difficult and confusing a worker from americamp gave me her number and if i ever struggled with anything i could message her! this came in handy and it was very confusing applying for a visa as it always is. I loved camp and there are always people online that are willing to help you just have to do your own research which i feel helps you prepare and become that little more independent rather than relying on americamp to do all the work! i went to the camp fair in manchester and got placed within the first 15 minutes of being there! I loved that camp so much and have made friends for life, experienced different cultures and bonded with the children. I can’t wait to go back next year! if anyone else is applying for camp 2026 and is struggling don’t hesitate to search on tiktok or even email americamp for an ambassadors email or number!

I had the best experience doing Americamp this year (2025)!!!
They were so helpful in getting me placed through their online hiring system, as well as answering any questions that I may have had.
They provided detailed instructions on how to apply for my visa, I would have been lost without the guide they sent out!

i was sold the best summer ever but i actually had such an awful experience at camp i mean americamp is probably the best agency to do it with but i mean the money is so not worth it 🤣 like some of the stuff i saw was so not worth the money or the time

From start to finish, Americamp have been so supportive. The process was very easy and straightforward, and the staff have all been brilliant! Any concerns or questions I had, they responded to almost immediately, both by phone and email. They did everything they could to ensure I had the best summer; they even helped and were very concerned when I had a small injury. Americamp has made my dream come true, and I'm desperate to do it all again in 2026! Thank you for everything.

I am 6 days away from flying out to the U:S and I'm hoping that everything goes well in America I haven't actually begun my journey just yet as excited and nervous as I am going into this so far I couldn't say enough good things about the Agency. Everything from guidance for filling out documents from the agencies Web page to the actual information from the staff themselves I have to say helpful and useful is an understatement they really do care for their participants everything up until now from filling out the application, help with interview processes and help with Visa applications, orientations, has not been easy but very helpful and they know what they are doing. I'm excited to begin my work placement and adventure in the U:S in the next coming days and honestly if I was lucky enough to be doing something like this again I wouldn't go past Americamp and I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to work within summer camps in the U:S.

I got placed quickly using the AmeriCamp portal without having to go to a camp fair. I absolutely loved my camp and had the best summer! AmeriCamp were extremely helpful throughout- always at the end of the phone if I had questions. They also paid me a lot more than my friends who went through different agencies for exactly the same role. Overall really happy I went with AmeriCamp and would definitely recommend them as your summer camp agency!

I have used Americamp for two summers now and have had the most amazing experience ! Everyone there is so helpful - I got hired at a camp fair which allowed me to speak to so many camps as well as getting hired with a friend! Really looking forward to my second summer with them.

I’ve been with AmeriCamp since june 2023 (which is when i signed up for summer 2024) and the entire time they’ve been the most supportive agency with people who genuinely care!!

They kept me updated with each step of the application process, always sent out info for events well in advance and always made sure i had everything i needed for camp.

I was hired through their online hiring system and it was genuinely my dream camp!! i’m not returning for my second summer in 2 weeks time!!

I first signed up for the 2024 season as soon as it opened back in june 2023 and AmeriCamp were the most helpful people ever! They did so much to help me & other applicants get hired such as in-person & online hiring fairs as well as their own hiring system! AmeriCamp truely found me my dream camp and i’m about to head back for my second summer!

AmeriCamp have been super helpful in enhancing my summer camp experience! They’ve been great communicators and have kept in touch regarding my application. I am returning for my second summer and I couldn’t recommend anyone better!

DO NOT USE AMERICAMP!!!! I have had the worst experience with them. I attended a camp fair in Manchester. Before going a list of camps where published so I researched them and created my own list of camps to talk to.

When we arrived at the fair they released the roles each camp was hiring for. Most roles where really niche like ceramics, horse riding, waterfronts, etc where they required extensive experience in each. This meant my list was narrowed down to about 3 camps I could speak to which mirrored my skills.

I would queue for over an hour for some camps with staff then coming down the queue saying they’ve filled up spaces.

So after paying for travel and coming all the way out there, I spoke to 3 camps and was rejected at each one. This was the case for most people - people where crying in the bathroom etc. I’m lucky that I only came from Liverpool. Some people travelling from Ireland, London, booked hotels, flights etc. So disappointing when it was advertised that the best way to get hired is at a fair and most get hired this way.

I contacted one of the camps after the fair to see if I could apply externally. They said yes and I had two interviews. One staff member said that they only hired a small amount of staff maybe 5, as they don’t hire loads at camp fairs because they look for more niche roles. This was not advertised by Americamp.

Americamp also does not have a list of camps they work with or an online portal where you can reach out to camps, unlike most other agencies, meaning you have to wait for camps to reach out to you. As such, I could not research other camps or apply via the website leaving me hopeless as no camps reached out to me.

I contacted some camps and finally got placed at one, however, it only worked with BUNAC, Camp Leaders, and Camp America - the case for most I contacted, making me think Americamp has less connections than other agencies. I had to pay extra fees to another agency. I tried to request a refund consistently but was denied by Americamp. Luckily I got an automated email that they haven’t been able to place me and I’ll get a full refund but it’s ridiculous it has taken so long.

Going forward I would go with Camp Leaders, Bunac, or Camp America.

AmeriCamp is amazing, their team are so personal and super friendly! They helped the process become smooth and easy. They have really got me excited about my summer camp experience, and I would recommend them to any first-timers!
