While arrangements can often be made for pickups from storage facilities without the customer's physical presence, these arrangements are subject to the storage facility's access requirements, the assigned carrier's procedures, and proper authorization. We would never intentionally mislead a customer regarding the services available to them.

Regarding your $650 deposit, our cancellation and refund policy is clearly outlined in the signed moving agreement and reviewed during our recorded verification process. Customers are provided a 48-hour cancellation window, subject to the terms and exceptions outlined in their agreement. Once that period expires, deposits become non-refundable under the agreed-upon terms.

However, we want to emphasize that **a concern involving an alleged misrepresentation of services is something we take seriously and would want to investigate independently of our standard cancellation policy.** If an agent provided inaccurate information that materially influenced your decision to book, we would welcome the opportunity to review the recorded conversations and determine exactly what was communicated.

We respectfully disagree with the characterization that our company is attempting to "rip off" customers. Our business is built around coordinating successful relocations, honoring our contractual commitments, and addressing legitimate customer concerns professionally and fairly.

We encourage you to contact our customer service department directly with your reservation information so that management can review the circumstances surrounding your booking, the storage facility pickup requirements, and the representations made during your initial conversation.

First and foremost, we would like to clarify that our 48-hour cancellation policy is not hidden, withheld, or undisclosed. This policy is explicitly outlined in Section 8 of our moving agreement, which customers are provided with and required to review and electronically sign before confirming their reservation, we then confirm all of this one more time during our verification process which will be reviewed by management to ensure our strict company policies where adhered to from the start of you inventory all the way through the verification process. Additionally, our cancellation policy is publicly available on our company's website, where anyone can review it prior to making a commitment.

We understand that moving plans can change, particularly when a relocation depends on the purchase of a new home. However, it is important to distinguish between a company's failure to disclose information and a customer's misunderstanding of contractual terms that were provided in writing and acknowledged through their signature and verification.

Regarding your statement about an individual identifying himself as a co-owner of our company, we take that allegation seriously. We would welcome the opportunity to investigate this claim and determine exactly who you spoke with and what representations may have been made.

At this time, we respectfully ask that you provide the full name associated with your reservation, along with your job number which can be found on your binding estimate, along with the above mentioned cancellation policy. This will allow our management team to locate your file, review your signed contract, examine the circumstances surrounding your reservation, and address your specific concerns based on documented facts rather than assumptions.

We firmly believe that consumers deserve accurate information when making decisions about a moving company. We also believe that businesses deserve the opportunity to respond to concerns with the complete facts surrounding an individual transaction.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. America's Choice Moving Group is a moving brokerage: we coordinate interstate moves, while assigned carriers perform the physical moving services. We take allegations of misconduct seriously and want to clarify the documented circumstances.

Our records show the carrier repeatedly called you starting the day before the first day of your two-day pickup window and continued trying through dispatch. Those calls went unanswered. Despite the cost of sending a truck without confirmation, the driver went to your address and called again. We have photographs documenting the carrier's presence at the correct location. For safety and liability reasons, crews do not approach or knock at a residence until they have confirmed a four-hour pickup window directly with the customer; this helps avoid trespassing or approaching the wrong home.

We acknowledge and apologize for one communication error. Our representative said the truck was outside because they understood the carrier to mean it was still there. The carrier actually meant it had been there earlier, attempted contact, and left after receiving no answer.

Our agreement provides for contact approximately 48 hours before pickup to coordinate an ETA. An ETA is an estimate, not a guaranteed arrival time. Previous jobs running late, traffic, mechanical problems, weather, weigh stations, and law enforcement inspections can affect timing. In this case, repeated calls over two days were also unanswered.

Regarding the deposit, coordinating an interstate move involves significant work before pickup: reviewing inventories, preparing estimates and contracts, arranging carrier capacity, scheduling dispatch, communicating with providers, and committing staff and resources. Section 8 of our signed agreement explains our 48-hour cancellation policy, which is also publicly posted on our website. We wait until that initial cancellation period ends before beginning substantive coordination, avoiding unnecessary expense if a customer cancels in time. By pickup day, services had been performed and resources committed. The claim that we collected a deposit without doing any work does not reflect those efforts or costs.

Given the documented arrival, unanswered calls, and pickup circumstances, we are treating this as a refusal of service under the applicable agreement terms. We nevertheless offered to arrange a return pickup when a crew became available; those options were declined as unsatisfactory. We remain willing to complete your move, even if arranging another pickup means a substantial financial loss for us.

We recognize the frustration and our communication mistake, but a service dispute is not an intentional scam. Please call our management team at (888) 864-5721 so we can agree on a new pickup date and complete your relocation.
