The transportation and hotel portion of Quayaquil portion was very nice. The time there was on our own, and was a delight.
The transportation to/from the Galapagos went smoothly. The boat was lovely. The tours were a bit much for me, and the guide had no response other than "keep up". The snorkel portion was a bust for me due to equipment mis-sized and malfunctioning. One guide did help me quite a bit on Espanola Island. I forget the name, but he was the leader.
The best part was Peru. The travel was perfect. The hotels were high class. The food was marvelous. and the guide Ezekiel (sp?) was delightful.

My niece and I had the BEST TIME and EXPERIENCES on this trip! The entire trip was amazing and our tour guides, Johanna and Paola were very attentive and knowledgeable. Our hotels were excellent and food was delicious. This was so much better than a structured tour. Thank you Andean!

The guides were wonderful- knowledgeable, cheerful, very helpful, proud of their country. We loved that every day involved new adventures- active excursions that involved choices about hiking, snorkeling, etc.

we enjoyed most of the excursions, however there were several that were not a match for us. I had advised our agent of the physical limitations of our group and she said this was taken into account. Unfortunately there were a number of times my mother in law could not physically participate on some excursions which was frustrating as the trip was her idea.

We had the most wonderful time on our trip to the Amazon, Galapagos and Peru with Andean Discovery. They exceeded all expectations, including a great itinerary, wonderfully professional guides and upscale hotels! We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone traveling to Ecuador and Peru!!

We had a fantastic 2 week trip using the Andean Discovery service. We started out with a cruise around the Galapagos Islands including daily visits to different islands. The service aboard the ship was great and the guides were all native of the Galapagos and were great. We then moved on the a 4 day adventure at the Napo Wildlife Center which was fantastic as well. We took daily canoe trips through the jungle seeing all manner of wildlife. We had two guides, one native to the rainforest. The food was great and the little cabins we stayed in next to the lagoon were superb. The guides here were fantastic as well. To conclude our trip we went to Peru and toured the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. We had Franco as our guide and he was great. All the hotels were really nice and he took us to eat and great places. It was a fantastic two week adventure that we will remember for a lifetime.

Amazing trip to the Galapagos. Andean handled everything. I highly recommend them and have already recommended them to friends and family. Keep up the good work Andean!

Our Amazon adventure was somewhat disappointing in terms of what we did not see and our guide did not show up the last morning, and the van driver back to the airport was careless and reckless causing everyone in the van to feel as if we were in danger.

I’m rating this trip a year after we took it and it’s still the very favorite trip we have ever taken! Our guides were the best! Our best trip!

Wonderful trip planned to perfection that our entire family (children ages 13, 10 and 7) enjoyed. Great guides there to help at every turn.

This was our second trip with Andean Discovery. The first was to Ecuador including the Galapagos, and this time was to Buenos Aires and Patagonia. As before, they did an excellent job of working with us to determine what we were looking for and were more than willing to discuss changes in their proposed itinerary so that it was a truly customized trip. Everything went smoothly, and we had another amazing adventure. Their choices for hotels, tours and guides were all excellent. I would definitely turn to them again if we decide to return to South America.

The trip to Peru was the highlight for my family. Our guides were terrific and the hotels fabulous.

Our tour of Quito, Ecuador and The Galápagos Islands was arranged by Andean discovery in 2018 . Everything went as planned and without a hitch. Hotels were wonderful and the tour guides went above and beyond to be sure we were happy with everything. I would not hesitate to book another trip with them.

I cannot say enough great things about Andean Discovery. My adult daughter and I went to Ecuador and Peru last year on a trip with them. Excellent guides, accommodations, and activities. Quito, the Galapagos, the Amazon basin rainforest, Machu Picchu, Cusco and everything else were all tremendous.

My husband and I took our 13 year old son on a dream trip last summer. We explored the Amazon, the Galapagos Islands, and the Sacred Valley of Peru. Andean Discovery and their guides for each area were wonderful. Highly educated and skilled as well as personable and interesting, they gave us the trip of a lifetime that we were hoping for.

We had a wonderful personalized trip. Hotels, food and arrangements were as requested, and excellent. Our guide was about as good as one could expect. Needless to say, I have exceptionally high praise for Andean Discovery.

The itinerary and its logistics was very well organized and impeccably managed to the finest detail. There were no issues from any perspective. As such our complete focus was on the great adventure that it was.
