So after the experience below TWO YEARS AGO!! i CANCELLED MY POLICY....BUUUUT, I JUST GOT A PAYMENT ALERT AND LOOKED AND FOR 2 YEARS THEY HAVE BEEN CONTINUING TO CHARGE ME. ODDLY I JUST TOOK MY CAT TO THE VET FOR VESTIBULAR AND WAS LIKE WHAT AN ODDLY HAPPY CRAPPY THING TO FIND OUT...SO I SENT IN A CLAIM....THAT HAS BEEN IN REVIEW FOR MANY DAYS, NO ONE ANSWERS NOR RETURNS PHONE CALLS, I GOT A 3 AM TEXT TWO DAYS AGO, I REPLIED, IT IS UNREAD, I LEFT MULTIPLE PHONE NUMBERS AND EMAILS TO REACH ME AND NOTHING. I DID AN AI DEEP DIVE, THEY ARE NOT RETURNING QUOTES CALLS OR CLAIMS.

NEXT STOP IS THE NYS INSTUANBCE BOARD AND AN ATTOERNEIES OFFICE...

I contacted two separate agents when my cat began sneezing, intending to ensure coverage. Animalia informed me of a 5-day waiting period, assuring coverage for pre-existing conditions. Both agents affirmed coverage for the cat's condition, stating it was treatable and not excluded.After waiting the specified period, I took my cat to be examined, incurring a bill of over $200. With a $200 deductible and a 10% copay, I anticipated coverage. However, I received a confusing 3-page letter that vaguely addressed fraud accusations, leaving my coverage status uncertain.Even if coverage exists, the letter indicated a year-long exclusion for any current illnesses, including minor issues like sneezing. Attempts to reach the adjuster for clarification proved futile, adding to the frustration.To complicate matters, the review agent altered my deductible from $200 to $500, subsequently denying coverage and attributing the previous letter to a typo. The denial of insurance for a simple cold feels punitive, prompting me to explore alternative options.

Update, reviewer reached out to advise me that because of this I have been denied coverage SHE cancelled my policy.

UPDATE RESPONSE TO LAST COMMUNICATION:

Update Request: Could you please share the telephone trace number used for reviewing my call records before making public accusations? Additionally, the adjuster's report explicitly mentions "denial of coverage." If it were a matter of claim rejection, the language would have indicated a denied claim, not coverage. Moreover, when I requested documentation, the adjuster's reply was unprofessional.

I was informed via phone that my online review must be removed or face negative consequences.

I welcome the sharing of these phone records and transcripts at your earliest convenience. Also, the post-purchase alteration of my coverage was not a typographical error; it seems you were not anticipating my having a screenshot as proof.

Animalia is the best! I am going to keep them forever. They have been a huge help and I really feel that they care about my fur-baby.

This company will bait you into buying insurance with them because they advertise the lowest premiums on the market. DO NOT BE FOOLED, THEY WILL RAISE THE PRICES ON YOU TENFOLD. My monthly premium has DOUBLED since I signed on two years ago and am now paying almost $200/month for the same coverage I was paying $90 for in 2023. I called them trying to negotiate my premium down and they did not even entertain the thought because they think I'll be trapped now that my dog has known preexisitng conditions that won't be covered if I change insurance. This company is sleezy, look for insurance elsewhere.

What a relief to work with a company that does what it says it will do. My Great Dane had to have her ACL tear repaired (TPLO). Coverage was confirmed before surgery, and payment was promptly made upon completion of the surgery!

Submitting a claim was very easy. They followed up often through calls and emails. Reimbursement was quick

My baby cat started to have seizures and was eventually diagnosed with epilepsy.
Thank God I had Animalia! They take forever to process an invoice but once they do they actually cover almost everything.
I don't know what I would have done without this insurance!

So glad I bought this insurance plan for both my dogs . After having the plan for 16 months I actually had to file my first claim ; took only a week to get my check for the services I paid for at the vets . Two weeks later my dog needed surgery to remove a mass on his left front leg that grew quickly . The cost of that totaling over 6,000 dollars ; it was approved almost right away and now my other check is coming in the mail ; they are quick , not to mention they are also very kind and compassionate when you talk with them on the phone . I would highly recommend them to anyone needing affordable pet insurance with quick claim process , they are worth more than just 5 stars !!!

Extremely satisfied with animalia. I recently had to rush my 16 month old frenchie to the emergency room (very expensive bill) . Then a follow up visit with his regular vet . I submitted a claim and was reimbursed with in 5 days. Easy process and great , professional staff to deal with .

My experience with Animalia Pet Insurance has been outstanding. The customer service agents have been phenomenal. So attentive so quick with their response. I will be transferring my other fur baby to this plan.

Exceptional customer service on all levels. I had an issue with one of the credit cards taking payment, not only did I receive an e-mail but also a personal call. That got taken care of.

I have a claim in process, and they reimbursed me minus the deductible and the co-pay w/in a week of me filing my claims. It was easy and the person handling the claim was professional and very courteous. I would highly recommend this company.
