I payed my box i december 2025, it was a gift for my sons birtday in january. Now its september 2026 and i still havnt got the box or my money back… i have sent around 10 mails, 2 of them has he replied on that his sorry and Will fix this issue
”this week”. Its now 9 month later and still hasnt got my money back or any package. My son i sad and my money has been stolen!!!

Worst shop ever! Do not order!!

We had a very disappointing experience at the great ant exhibition in Bristol. How this event was advertised was very different to the reality. Only two very small ant colonies were on display and a handful of queens were for sale, nothing else ant related at all. Everything else at the event had nothing to do with ants just random market stalls. Very bizarre considering this was called the great ant exhibition. Even the talks were nothing to do with ants. I don’t understand why this was advertised as an Ant event.

I took my daughter Maggie, aged 10, to The Great Ant Exhibition in Bristol and I was captivated. These people were so knowledgeable of all things ant. Thank you for such an informative day out - I'm also hooked now 😁

I really liked how informative it was I have attended in the past.
I loved seeing the ant colonies.
I was a little disappointed that some of the vendors did not turn up.
I did like the larger space and refreshments available.

Ordered a £50 mystery box on 25th December. After two weeks with no update and no response to emails, I waited another week before requesting a refund. The box then arrived after four weeks and only after the refund was issued.

The contents were unacceptable. The £50 box had fewer items than the £25 box ( purchased before) , with two of the three species being identical. The only difference was one extra species, which is misleading and not worth the price.

Packaging was terrible. Leaking test tubes and nectar everywhere. Complete lack of quality control.

Slow delivery, ignored emails, misleading value, and poor packaging. This was my last order. Do not recommend.

Ants on a rock are a bunch of regular rock stars. Great customer service, almost unparalleled expertise and general all around good eggs.

Edit: when I spoke to ants on a rock the customer service was great however they did not follow through on actions they agreed to take and im roughly £40 down as a result. Would go elsewhere for ants and products in the future.

Great customer service and the owner Tom is lovely! Would definitely reccomend to any ant enthusiast. Great items and great ants.

Amazing day out for all the family

We were so very grateful that we won the tickets And we had such an amazing time our girls loved the day as well. It was such an amazing experience to meet ant keeps in the hobby too.

Great show again this year. Lots of different inverts fairly priced. I enjoy this show as you get chance to speak to people at the tables with it being smaller. Some of the bigger shows can feel a little impersonal. Free face painting for the kids! My kids like this show better than others.

We attended the Great ant exhibition

It was very good. Lots of variety of stalls and all the stalls holders we very helpful.

The talk about the ants was really good as well. My son enjoyed that very much 🙂 🐜

I would have preferred to have known when the talk was going to happen as my son nearly missed it!! Glad he didn't. Also more talks or educators would have good as there's so much to learn from ants. 🐜🐜🐜

Interesting displays in a location with good car parking - perhaps a larger event might encourage invertebrate booksellers to also be present?

The only reason I gave a 4 star was the size of the test tube the ant’s came in…it was so small!
