A family emergency caused us to miss out on our vacation this winter. I had never used travel insurance before, so was pleasantly surprised when all went well with our claim. Thank you so much!

Unfortunately due to a medical incident with my sister, my husband and I had to cancel our cruise as I am her primary caregiver. Thankfully we had AON Affinity Travel Insurance. We submitted our claim with the medical information form (very easy for the doctor to complete) as requested. Our claim was reviewed and processed so quickly and without any issues. Highly recommend AON for your travel insurance needs!!!

The insurance premium was reasonable. The requirements for invoking the policy were reasonable and easy to understand. The customer service was outstanding!!!

Got my full amount refunded within 7 days for a 21 day trip to India that we had to cancel 3 days before departure on account of a health crisis by my wife. I just made sure to submit the full physician attestation with all details.

Received approval and reimbursement timely. No issues. Customer service person was helpful and knowledgeable.

They are horrible with communication; misleading as they have you chase after items that they aren’t going to cover. You are always dealing with a different person. Very unclear in what they want when they send you an email. Claim submission portal doesn’t work well, they always come back with they haven’t received paperwork. They pay very little for a lot of effort! Feels very much like a scam! Took almost a year for them to settle claim and I was very unhappy with what they covered.

We bought the best travel insurance that Royal Caribbean offered. It happened to be Aon. They were useless in compensating us for 2 missed ports. Who cares if you loose luggage, you can buy new clothes to survive. You save for what you believe to be a vacation to remember and it is reduced to a bunch of extra day. Big Deal. The Captain sent us letters to submit to the Insurance Cos. for some type of compensation. The were rejected because that was not covered. Why in the world would a cruise company sell such worthless coverage...I suggest you do not waste your money using cruise recommended companies, the probably get a kick back...Shop your own and save!!!

I had to cancel a trip due to medical reasons. I recently submitted a claim to AON. They were prompt in sending an approval and payment. Customer service was helpful in giving direction and clarification. I was very pleased with the outcome.

I am so grateful to AON for processing my claim so fast and the process was easy to follow as long as you have all the necessary documentations.

Professional, friendly, prompt response

Had booked a cruise on Norweign to Bahamas Dec 17-21; but on Dec 12--diagnosed, then treated with flu (H3N2)--really bad nasty bug. A week later, when I rejoined the 'human race' I began filing for insurance reimbursement for cancelled trip. Process was straight forward, provided medical encounter form, diagnosis, and treatment, receipts (and prior re-reimbursements related to this trip, shore excursions etc). All but about $50 was refunded, If you choose electronic deposit--refunds were deposited within a week.

I was worried that reams of documentation would be required, like all the unnecessary papers insurance companies often require to make it difficult to make a claim. I was delighted that only the reasonably expected things were needed, and payment was super prompt, as in a few days.

The experience with Aon Travel was great in an assistant with the refund after illness, I really appreciate it. Everything that they did to help get the refund.
