Nice bunch of guys & girls but serious lack of communication
I don’t really like leaving negative reviews but I feel like I have been left with no choice on this occasion.
I bought a car from Apex back in January which ended up having an oil leak as well as some other issues, most of the issues were resolved by Apex but the oil leak required the car to be taken to an Audi specialist.
The warranty company only covered a small portion of the repair cost so I had to pay the remaining balance myself. Considering the car had an oil leak from the point of purchase Apex agreed reimburse the amount paid.
It has now been three weeks since I emailed Apex and them agree to reimburse the cost of the repair and I’m still yet to receive anything, this also includes a follow-up email that I sent reminding them.
As I mentioned at the start I don’t like leaving negative reviews and wasn’t going to after the oil leak was resolved but there just seems to be a lack of communication and a lack of urgency getting things resolved at Apex.

We're sorry that your experience has left you feeling disappointed, particularly after the efforts made to resolve the issues you encountered with the vehicle following purchase.
As you mentioned, the oil leak required specialist attention and, given that the issue was present from the point of sale, we agreed to reimburse the contribution you had made towards the repair costs. Unfortunately, during this period we were implementing changes to our internal accounts processes, and while awaiting the necessary bank details, your reimbursement was inadvertently overlooked. We fully appreciate the frustration this caused and apologise for the lack of communication regarding the delay.
As soon as the discrepancy was brought to our attention, the reimbursement was processed immediately and the funds were transferred without further delay.
Whilst we understand your frustration, we do feel it is a shame that this issue has resulted in a negative review, particularly as we worked to resolve the vehicle's faults and honoured our commitment to reimburse the repair costs. Nevertheless, we accept that our communication and administration fell below the standard we aim to provide on this occasion, and for that we sincerely apologise.
We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our processes and ensure similar situations do not occur in the future.

The car was exactly as described, David answered all our questions and we agreed a couple of things to do before collecting the car.
Everything was done to a really high standard and David kept us informed all the way through.
It’s great to do business with a company that when they make commitments, they keep them.
We had a minor problem when we got home and David couldn’t have been more helpful, it was resolved immediately.
We would 100% recommend Apex.

My experience with Apex cars was excellent. The way they make buying a car very personal, from personalised video walk arounds of the vehicle, full transparency so there were no surprises when I made the long drive up, and they even threw in a years breakdown cover after I had purchased the car. From initial enquiry through to purchase everything was dealt with seamlessly and with a high attention to customer satisfaction.

Great experience
