These glasses are clearly designed by people that ride. The attention to detail is amazing. Stoked with my Apex glasses. The ability to change out lenses with ease depending on conditions is awesome. Also the ability to change glasses into trail goggles is great (haven't tried that yet) and the ability to fit prescription lenses (which I really should do) is a great idea.

Most of all I'm stoked with Peter from Apex, who arranged shipping to NZ. True customer service and a great product. Glad I purchased my glasses.

Been out with the apex glasses a few times now and well impressed how they sit on my face even with the full face helmet. The clear lens is really vivid when you have them on .I haven't used all the lenses yet as not the best weather. Not used them as goggles yet either but still time .
There has been no issues of them slipping and I have removed the nose piece as not required for me. I did use it first ride but prefer without. The case is big and robust so allows them to to be stored safely without risk of damage . I would recommend giving them a go , I would try the apex goggles too but I can't get on with riding in any goggles.

Really happy with my new Apex series glasses. I love that they can be easily converted to goggles. Perhaps in future models, consider the nose padding in goggle mode as it probsbly just needs a rounded edge. But I rate these glasses highly and the customer service is excellent. I advised them that I was keen for darker lenses to cut out more of the Aussie sun and within a couple weeks the team had sent me a new lens, free of charge. These guys are all about the product and the customer. Highly recommended.

hese are hands down some of the best mountain biking glasses I’ve ever worn. The fit is incredibly comfortable — snug without any pressure points — and they didn’t move at all during my rides, even on rough terrain. Zero fogging, which is huge for long climbs and high-intensity efforts.

I really love how customizable they are. Being able to swap out the lenses and adjust the padding makes it easy to dial in the perfect fit for your face. The modular design is well thought out, and everything feels high quality and durable.

Comfort, clarity, stability, and smart design — these glasses absolutely deliver. Highly recommend them to anyone serious about riding.

Great communication from start to finish, product exactly as described. Got the wear the glasses for the first time at the weekend. No steaming up, no hassle didn’t even feel that I was wearing anything, in my view that’s the best. Will have to wait to try the googles in the summer, but if the glasses are to go by, they won’t disappoint.

Apex Legend Goggles – Real-World Review After Testing & Follow-Up Support

I bought the Apex Legend goggles to solve a genuine problem, not on impulse. A previous ride in damp woodland conditions left me with watering eyes from my old goggles, so I decided to invest in what were marketed as premium, high-performance goggles — even described as “the last set you’ll ever buy.” After real trail use, my initial experience didn’t live up to those claims.

On my first proper ride, the issues showed up quickly. During a steady effort climb, the goggles sat lower on my nose than expected and slightly restricted my view. By the top, the lens had already fogged. I understand fogging can happen under effort, but what stood out was that it didn’t clear when airflow returned. Instead, it worsened. I stopped to wipe the lens, carried on, and the problem repeated. At one point I even removed the magnetic lens and rode with it in my hand for a couple of miles — it still didn’t clear.

Fit was another concern. The goggles seemed to shift and felt like they were pulling my helmet down slightly, which affected comfort and confidence. I stopped multiple times to adjust straps and helmet position, but nothing resolved it. I tried different lenses with the same results. Eventually I removed the goggles completely so I could safely continue riding. That was my genuine first impression: out of the box, they simply didn’t work for me in normal UK trail conditions.

To be fair, one feature I did like was the magnetic lens system. It makes lens removal and cleaning very quick and easy. It’s a smart design and works well. Unfortunately, that convenience matters less when the lens repeatedly fogs in the first place.

Update After Speaking with Apex

After I posted my original review, Alex from Apex reached out directly. He was clearly concerned about my experience and took time to understand what had happened. He explained that a small number of riders had reported fogging and asked whether I’d tried removing the vents (I hadn’t at that stage) and what helmet I was using.

He then checked the fit compatibility between the goggles and my helmet. He came back to explain that the pairing wasn’t ideal due to the shape and size of the helmet’s eye port. At the time I was riding in a Fox Proframe RS. That feedback genuinely made me reassess my setup. On my next ride I paid closer attention to helmet stability and realised there was more movement than I’d previously noticed, particularly on rough terrain. In hindsight, some of what I thought was goggle movement may partly have been helmet movement.

To remove that variable, I tried a different helmet and switched to a Troy Lee Designs Stage. It immediately felt more secure and stable, with a closer, more consistent fit around the face opening and a better interface with goggles overall.

Alex also sent a replacement pair of goggles with an additional anti-fog lens. On a short test ride with this revised setup, comfort improved noticeably and fogging was much less of an issue, although I did need to remove the vents to achieve this. In drier conditions I’d expect those could be refitted.

Final Verdict

My original experience was genuinely disappointing, and I stand by it — that’s exactly how the product performed for me straight out of the box. However, I also believe it’s important to reflect the full picture.

Apex’s follow-up support was professional and constructive, and the testing since then shows the goggles can perform much better with the right helmet pairing and setup. Compatibility and configuration clearly matter more than I expected, and that’s something prospective buyers should keep in mind.

In short: my first ride was poor, but with adjustments and support, performance improved. That doesn’t erase the initial issues, but it does show the product isn’t a lost cause — it just may require more setup attention than the marketing suggests.

Wanted some goggles for the colder weather. I have to say these are brilliant, my absolute go to now. Thanks for a great product and superb customer support. Would highly recommend

I’m really impressed with Apex Legends Glasses. The quality of the frames is excellent and they’re very comfortable to wear, even for long periods.

I had my prescription lenses fitted separately via Specsavers, which cost £40, so that part wasn’t linked to Apex directly — but it made the overall setup fantastic value for money.

Super happy with the glasses and how they’ve turned out. Would definitely recommend Apex for anyone looking for stylish, well-made frames at a sensible price.

The legend googles have been an absolute life saver. These googles are so much better than your average google because they are so easy to use. Swapping out the magnetic lenses is super easy but they have no chance of popping out on the trail.

Great customer service when we had a problem with the Goggles not fitting with our helmet. New full face helmet purchased and the Goggles are perfect. My son loves the fact you’ve got clear and coloured lenses to swap between.

Couldn’t be happier with the glasses. The fit is comfortable and they protect your eyes from dust while enhancing your riding experience. The foam section really helps soak up the sweat. Best value for money riding glasses I’ve owned.

My goggles arrived promptly and boy what a surprise u had when opening the package. First presented with a top quality box that contained the holy grail. The goggles are of the highest quality on the market, attention to detail is unbelievable. Lenses are strong and click perfectly in place. Brilliant innovation, a company I will keeping my eye on for future products.

Definitely worth the purchase. Half the price of major brands. 3 x lenses. Havent tried all options of fitments as yet, but can see there value. Hard case is good quality.

Got to me early and the apex legends goggles are super comfortable and good to use in all weathers and anytime of the day 10/10
