Steve's Appliance Spares (which is another name for this site) had the fastest delivery ever. Placed ordinary order at noon, recieved it by 1pm next day. The item was a replacement remote control - so appreviated how fast this was; and the remote was a perfect replacement.

Steve is great.

Steve has sorted me out twice with quick responses to emails and quick dispatch. I honestly couldn't be happier with the service and price. He has saved me quite a lot of money and sanity. Thanks Steve.

Won't Respond To Emails

Started off ok with several emails to determine which overload protector I required for my water cooler and then when I place an order I get dead silence and refusing to respond to my emails ~ very dissapointing!

Refusing to respond... No, just not able to get to it because I'm too busy sorting out orders and orders don't stop at 5PM, so even at night I can't answer emails freely. I get over 100+ email requests per day which are not always simple to answer, we've had a short week with Wellington Anniversary day as well, so from Tuesday we had 1000 orders to catch up on just from the weekend, and getting 30% more orders than normal which is about 60-90 orders extra per day to sort out.

An order has not been placed.

Originally with the details provided we had nothing to suit, even the lowest HP rating I have may not be a close enough suit which I didn't finish sending on Friday.

I understand people want prompt replies, but unfortunately I cannot duplicate my knowledge or hire people that will know what they're doing quickly. I've already got extra help for packing due to the demand.

My highest priority is sending out orders, so that is what takes priority.

I apologize for not being able to respond more frequently.

THE WORST Customer Service ever!!!!!!

Recently as Customers of Steve's Appliances we were contacted by a women asking us to pay for a product we purchased online more than 2 years ago. We fully recollect the purchase, by have no recollection of getting it for "FREE" at the time. Something we would remember as this NEVER! Happened shopping online.
We were instructed by SA's we would have to prove we paid. Upon enquiring with my current bank I was advised of a $25 charge for an historic statement SA's told me that wasn't true. I also contacted another bank that I was using at the time (now closed)as I my have paid from that bank. They said sorry can't help you. SAs said she had a friend who worked at that particular bank at that was also not true! Called a liar twice in five minutes and then told she was sending the debt to Baycorp despite me disputing the debt. I believe I paid it I was contacted 2 years plus after the fact to say I had not. Told by Steve's Appliances that this is a result of their staff member not doing her job.....which begs the question when I paid where did my money go????
Tried phoning the man Steve himself but he has two cellphone numbers he doesn't answer that have full mailboxes instructions are to email admin with all details of part requirements because he's to busy every day!
Don't get me wrong our dealings of which we have had multiple have been excellent. All of which we have paid for prior to dispatch.
The amount in dispute is less than $110......in March 26 it will be 3 years after the fact, through no fault of our own so should I really cough $25 to prove I paid.
Message for Steve how much have you paid your office girl to chase this $110 debt and what's it costing you in future business, because we are no longer recommending nor using you.

I have one mobile number. You have been contacting me by email just fine, so that is irrelevant.

I have full transaction lists showing I haven't been paid and I screenshotted you directly from searching on our bank account. Took me 2 minutes to check on my online banking, and I can download 7 years of transactions with a click of a button - no fee, absolutely free.

I don't understand the need to give us a 1-star review when you haven't paid for something you have already received promptly, and have clearly been advised that it still is not paid. We have fixed this issue with our website so future orders don't have this issue.

You've said our dealings have been excellent, so do the right thing and pay what is owed. I showed you that your other order was paid by card, this one was not.

If you saw my work load on a day-to-day basis and how ineffective phone calls are when dealing about model number specific parts, parts diagrams that need to be picked from, and how much information we have to request from suppliers, you would completely understand why email communication is the most efficient. I could be on a 5-10 minute phone call and it ends by asking them to email through their model number. Thats 3-4 email inquiries that I could have answered in the same timeframe.

I highly recommend Steve’s appliance…

I highly recommend Steve’s appliance spares. After researching options to replace my Panasonic microwave light and replace a damaged wave guard (impacted performance) I fell upon a NZ supplier at a reasonable cost. The real star was the quick and helpful response to an email query and fast efficient service and delivery. Back to 100% power and I can see what I’m cooking.

This supplier is local to my country, price competitive, easy to interact with and reliable.
What makes it a 5 star experience is that if you have an issue one actually gets contacted in order to address any issues and is willing to go that extra mile to ensure you are a satisfied customer.

Legit

Despite the seemingly suspicious company name, it is a legit company that has fridge parts. My Samsung fridge door shelf arrived wighin days of ordering. Was able to track through NZ Post emails. Fragile part arrived undamaged. Detail on the website ensured I ordered the correct part.

Good service

Good service. I've ordered 4 suspension rods, they made a mistake by giving one wrong and send me the new one for free. The condition of the last one not sure if it was brand new but did the job. They answer the emails, even during the weekend and I will definitely order again from them if I need anything else. If you are in a hurry, better to check with them first.
