We recently purchased a wine fridge, dishwasher and fridge freezer. The staff were extremely knowledgeable about the difference in product models, helping us to easily select what we needed. Much better than trying to decide between products in a big chain store. Super friendly. Fabulous prices for the spec of products we chose. Products were ready and waiting for us at the entrance on collection. We will certainly use them again and recommend them to our family and friends.

BEWARE: This is a scam website. They have plagiarised a similarly named genuine company. The genuine company can be contacted by phone, the fake cannot.

fraudulent company - avoid at all costs. Ordered a pair of BOSE earphones, firstly got the excuse that they were running late with deliveries but never ever turned up and no contact from company. Luckily I ordered via my credit card to get a refund.... Do use this company !!

Dreadful place. I would never buy from this place again. Sold me a wash machine and a fridge both faulty. The fridge drainage hole at the back is sealed up. Also the wash machine is the wrong one and is faulty doesnt heat up. They refused to refund me or give me the correct appliance. Had to go through my bank in the end.

I bought a Dolcenotte Electric Blanket online. Something went wrong during the ordering process the wrong shipping location was selected for determining the Shipping Costs to the South Island of New Zealand. The shipping costs duly came up as "Free". After 5 days and no movement on my order I requested an update 3 times, with no reply each time. In desperation I made a toll call to Appliancestar in Auckland. Straight away I seemed to be getting the run around with requests to leave a contact number and would be contacted. I refused and in the end demanded to see the Manager or I would take the issue to Consumers Affairs. Eventually He came up on the phone and stated there would be no movement on my order until I paid the freight. I explained this was my first time ordering with his company and usually freight is calculated automatically when you enter your address. He said wrong area had been selected and I had to pay the freight. I then asked Him why he had not informed at the outset that an error in ordering had been made. He replied He did not know but if I paid the freight He would send the order. I then told Him any company that sits on an order for days knowing an error had occurred and does not inform the customer is not a company I would wish to deal with, and to refund me forthwith. Goods are reasonably priced but customer service is awful.

Bought a tumble drier from Appliance Star, via Amazon. It never worked, so repeatedly had to complain. Appliance Star were initially helpful and sent a engineer out on 4 occasions over a 3 month period. On the third visit the engineer identified the problem (door/sensor related) and on the 4th visit parts were replaced. It still did not work, so we requested replacement or refund - and then the attitude of the retailer changed!!!! They collected the goods then silence......after prompting, they claimed that the machine was fixed and ready for return. I had lost faith and requested a replacement or refund.....silence....so I asked Amazon to engage.....then Appliance Star went on the 'offensive' and claimed we had used the drier "inappropriately".....more silence.....so I asked Amazon to get involved as they managed and benefited from the sale...they said it was past 90 days so basically had no interest! I again requested a refund...silence from Appliance Star. I have no drier, am £270 out of pocket, and neither the seller or Amazon could care less. How about that for theft/appalling service. AVOID APPLIANCE STAR / CUBIK PRODUCTS
