Arcane Studios is one of the most unprofessional and poorly managed operations I’ve encountered.
1. Leadership Is a Joke
The owner, Liam, is fully absent. There is no visible leadership, no accountability, and no direction. The studio runs without oversight. Ali, the managing executive, is disorganized, inconsistent, and unprofessional. Communication is delayed, vague, or evasive. Policies appear to be invented on the spot. There is no structure, no reliability, and no ethical consistency. When problems arise, responsibility is deflected rather than addressed.

2. Payment Practices Are Unacceptable
The most serious issue for me is freelancer payment. I completed a $1,400 commission. After delivering the work, I waited eight days just to receive a response about payment. I was then told I would be paid $200 every three days to “avoid risking the PayPal Business Account.” That means nearly a month to receive money that was already earned. (Not to be accusatory, but Ali has suspicious business practices himself.) This is not professionalism, it is incompetence or deliberate stalling. Freelancers should not be financing the company’s cash flow problems. Also, delayed payments are just a standard practice, not an exception. (Freelancers agree) If a business cannot pay freelancers promptly and in full, it should not be taking on projects.

3. Bias and Internal Favoritism
The quality assurance process is not objective at all. Decisions are influenced by personal preference and prior relationships rather than facts. Certain freelancers or clients are favored. Disputes are not handled fairly or consistently. There is no clear system, only selective enforcement.

Conclusion for you:
Arcane Studios lacks leadership, financial reliability, and professional standards. Freelancers take the risk while management avoids accountability. I would strongly advise anyone, freelancer or client, to think carefully before working or ordering with them.

Note: They also strongly tell/force freelancers to leave positive reviews acting as happy clients to get more work.

Working with Arcane is a great experience, you can easily buy and sell with incredible simplicity

Working for arcane studios has been a great way to make money of my free time. There are always potential clients every day and withdrawals are usually between 3-7 days aprox which is pretty regular, but you always get the money for your work. Clients are also pretty much chill (at least the ones I've worked with) and easy to work with. If you are a freelancer, I'd recommed working for arcane.

I am a freelancer inside the studio, I’ve always found my comfort working there with many clients all over the world.

As a freelancer arcane is the best to work in, they have pretty good safeguards in place for both clients and freelancers, and everything is automated that's just a cherry on top

I've been using Arcane for years, never had an issue, some of their freelancers aren't the best but the service is great. Just make sure to read freelancer reviews before picking someone. The people are very kind and understanding. Some of my projects' best work come from the Arcane service/freelancers.

I've been using this discord for a while; there are good people here for Minecraft server devolvement. I will continue to use it in the future :)

If you are looking for a place to start your freelance career, this platform is fantastic. You get to work with high-quality, respectful clients in a great environment. Ali manages the platform brilliantly and provides very fast support, though I'd love to see him expand his team in the future to share the workload. While the 15% fee is something to factor in, it is very reasonable considering the server upkeep required to keep things running smoothly. Great experience overall!

I placed a discord bot order for couple hundred dollars, it was delivered but non functional. The developer didn't fix the bot at all and stalled me for months. Kept saying he will do it today/tomorrow but months passed by and it's not functional. I Dmed the owner on discord but he didn't respond either, whilst he was the one to DM me for using his company's services. Although I did have a successful commission with another developer for another project (Was for less money). But the developer who did my other commission which was larger made a bot which had so many issues that he didn't even fix. It's crazy that I spent Hundreds of dollars, waited months only to be scammed out of the service. The developers should be kept to higher standards.

I would NOT recommend Arcane, it's very unreliable.

This experience was a complete scam. They took my money, I waited weeks on end, for them to deliver absolutely nothing in return. Never again will I get things here.
