I passed PLAB 2 on my first attempt thanks to Arora Academy. I joined the academy and attended the live course three weeks before the exam (I did book a slot a couple of months earlier). Their study materials were great, but the Zoom sessions, mock scenarios and live course were the real highlight. Everyone at the school was super knowledgeable, kind, and supportive. They show you exactly what examiners want to see, making it much easier to understand what it is you need to focus on, which completely built up my confidence for the exam. The teaching is practical, focused, and incredibly relevant. Live sessions are also a great place to meet other candidates, which can be helpful both in finding practice buddies and building new friendships. Couldn't recommend them more to future candidates!

Excellent PLAB 2 Preparation Course

Dr Arora’s course was recommended to me by a colleague who had successfully passed the PLAB 2 exam, and I am very pleased that I chose to attend.

The 10-day course was intensive, well-organised, and highly interactive. It provided comprehensive preparation for the PLAB 2 examination, with access to online learning resources, practical exercises, and mock examinations. The teaching was structured and focused, making it easier to approach a wide range of exam scenarios with confidence.

One of the most valuable aspects of the course was Dr Arora’s systematic approach to PLAB 2. His framework can be applied effectively across different stations and helped me develop a clear and consistent strategy for the exam. He remained approachable and supportive throughout the course and continued to provide guidance afterwards.

The course also offered an excellent opportunity to meet and practise with other candidates. I built lasting friendships and continued practising with fellow students right up until my exam date.

I would strongly recommend booking the mock examinations. I completed two mocks before my exam and received detailed, constructive, and personalised feedback from Dr Lucas and Dr Jade. Their insights were invaluable in identifying areas for improvement and refining my exam technique.

I passed the AKT exam on my first attempt (sat it in April 2026) which is a miracle to me as I have always struggled with all the exams in my life. I used Dr Arora's Ultimate package which includes audio and video courses, live courses, crash courses, question bank and question cards and covers clinical, statistics and organisational areas. Clinical guidelines are presented in a succinct, very well-organised and colour-coded format, repeated multiple times and it gets 'drilled' into the brain so well that I could recall them at any time and still do after a month post exam. I also found that the learning strategies that Dr Arora talks about were very helpful.

They taught me not to worry excessively about passing or failing, but instead to focus on learning from my mistakes and growing as a doctor.

Best course for Plab 2

I recently attended the Arora PLAB 2 course and found it extremely helpful and well-structured. The teaching approach is clear and practical. Overall, it significantly improved my confidence, communication skills, and exam technique.

The introductory videos on data gathering were the most helpful . The videos on specific topics such as dermatology or even the later ones in Cvs are all very surface level e.g let's say a drugs guidelines are being mentioned ... often it is just a one liner or if the tutor says this drug is first line unless contraindicated.. the contraindications are not even named ... so you have to go to another source to double check or if you are lucky you might remember the contraindications .... Similarly the tutor might mention that you have to choose between these treatments clinically ... would not mention the factors favoring one decision or the other

Efficient presentation. Very dedicated teacher. I passed my AKT on my first try and I am sure that the final recap with hos video helped a lot.

From day one, Dr. Aman and Dr. Pooja made us feel completely at home. Many of us had travelled across countries to attend this course, and yet Arora never felt like a classroom — it truly felt like a family. Every single student was given equal attention, genuine care, and constant support throughout the course.

What really sets Arora apart is that the teaching is not exam-oriented rote learning. There were no long scripts to memorise or robotic answers. Everything was rooted in real medical practice and focused on how doctors actually work in the NHS. We weren’t just trained to pass PLAB — we were trained to be good doctors and to confidently step into working life in the UK. That, for me, was the biggest takeaway.

Fantastic revision resource. I first used Arora back in 2018 when revising for my AKT I passed first time after two months of revision thanks mostly to the amazing videos and flashcards. I am sitting the AKT in 2026 because my exam will have expired due to poor health extending my training. I am even more impressed this time with the question bank, flashcards and extensive collection of videos and other sections. Aman messaged me when I passed last time and has always responded quickly to point me in the direction of specific videos to meet my learning needs.

Hello team, I just wanted to let you know that I passed my SCA exam first time! The SCA preparation course and the mocks were really helpful! Participating in 1-1 cases and then getting feedback was really helpful. The online resources (videos and audio’s) were excellent in refreshing my knowledge (particularly on areas that I did not feel confident in).
