A big thank you to the team at Arora Medical Education for their amazing PLAB 2 course! They helped me understand what the exam is all about which is invaluable when there’s so much conflicting information available online.

What sets this course apart is their focus on boosting confidence and building a solid foundation of knowledge, rather than relying on rote learning or memorizing scripts. The hands-on practice sessions were also helpful. Also a special thank you to Dr Aman Arora for always being so easily accessible and available for guidance.

I highly recommend Arora Medical Education for PLAB 2 preparation. They made a daunting process so much more manageable and even enjoyable!

I chose Arora Academy for preparation for PLAB 2 after going through some of their videos in YouTube. Everyone at the academy was really friendly and helpful. The feedback provided by them during mock really gave me ideas on how to and on which areas to improve on.

I attended the Arora PLAB 2 academy after watching Dr. Arora's videos on you-tube. My main reason for choosing the academy was I did not want to follow a scripted approach as I am not good at cramming- at all.
Right from the day I paid for the academy, I loved the experience. I received flashcards that I went through before attending the academy. These are a life saver- they have high yield information, organized in a concise and easy to read format; things like cancer referral timelines and such.
I also got a recorded video course and an audio course where Dr. Arora teaches the way to approach the exam and how to handle any type of scenario thrown at you in the exam, without having to cram a pre-determined set of questions. He also teaches how to incorporate interpersonal skills into your consultation in a natural unscripted way.
The actual academy experience was great. There was a lot to learn in a short period, but a number of things made it a great experience for me.
1. The academy has a great learning atmosphere. Big rooms with ample space.
2. There was more than enough supply of equipment such as syringes, catheters, mannequins for you to practice on. Saturday is active circuits day and you get more than enough time to practice anything you might have missed during the week. I went to practice on Saturday and Sunday and all the equipment was made available to use. Dr. Arora was in the academy conducting the circuits on Saturday and Dr. Pooja was in on Sunday to answer any questions we had.
3. The teachers are all qualified GPs and they are friendly, always available and willing to help. They were always checking to see if we needed any help.
4. The teaching was exactly what I signed up for. Absolutely no script. It is done by role play from day 1 and I would highly encourage that one volunteers for the role plays as you learn a lot by being in the hot seat. I would say that really boosted my confidence that I could do the exam as I did a couple of role plays and got direct feedback. They also taught various medical conditions (system-wise), physical examination, procedures etc.
5. You get two mocks, a live and a virtual mock. The feedback you get from the first mock will be revisited after the second mock to see whether you made improvement in the areas you were to work on. I would say after I did the mocks I knew I was ready for the exam.
6. In my exam, I was happy that I followed Dr. Arora's approach. The cases were not the type that could allow you to follow a script. I was comfortable in my consultation because I had a mental structure to fall back on through out the consultation... and I passed.

I would highly recommend Arora PLAB 2 academy. I would advice that one goes through the flashcards thoroughly first before attending the academy. I think you get the most benefit that way, so that you use the time in the academy polishing your consultation rather than acquiring new knowledge.

Arora Academy is fantastic! The instructors are patient, happy to teach, and always ready to answer questions. The course was practical, with great material for practice and skills you can use in the future. Highly recommend!

The entire academy was so positive ! Dr Aman is one of those teachers who can make teaching you personalised even in a group ! The approach was fantastic and really helpful and practical. The course structure is built and taught in such a way that it helps you give your best shot in the exam as well as improves your skills as a doctor! I personally feel Dr Aman’s academy is the best for anyone planning to come to the UK

I took two courses at Arora Academy, the PLAB2 gold package and the NCA in-person course. I was quite worried as my exams were back to back with 10 days of gap. Regardless, I did very well in both exams thanks to the entire Arora team.

The staff is incredibly supportive, both in-person and online. All members of the staff are highly qualified doctors. Despite this, they are incredibly humble.

The facilities at the academy were also great. The place is clean and heated. The mannequins for practice are also in very good condition. Both ear and eye mannequins are available for practice as well.

Although many things set the academy apart, I mainly joined the academy as no scripts were involved. They teach you the approach that allows you to tackle any case hands-on. Another reason I loved the academy was because of how often I could travel to practice on the mannequins. I believe I went 4-5 times after the academy to practice, which significantly boosted my confidence. The SIMMAN day was my favorite because it was both stressful and very educational. I think I learned the most on that day.

The mocks I had for my exams were also very useful as they simulated the exam quite well. Feedback was detailed and helpful.

I would suggest that one goes through the online resources before coming to the in-person course as that will greatly increase your ability to understand information. If I had done that, I would gotten more out of the theory bit of the academy.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Joining Arora Academy for my PLAB 2 exam preparation was one of the best decisions I made. Dr. Aman and his team were incredibly supportive from the beginning and made the exam process much simpler. The three Arora bubbles, the R’s of interpersonal skills, and the management steps were invaluable in my preparation. Arora Academy thoroughly prepared me for every possible scenario in the PLAB 2 exam.

Even after the course, Dr. Aman remained accessible and was always willing to answer any questions about the exam, which was immensely helpful. The mock exams and detailed feedback were particularly reassuring and boosted my confidence.

Although exam day came with its own challenges, I was able to stay calm and focused, following Dr. Aman’s advice to tackle the exam one station at a time. I was overjoyed to learn that I had passed the PLAB 2 exam, and I owe my success to Arora Academy's comprehensive teaching and the "can-do" attitude instilled in us.

I came to Arora, quite unsure of myself ans rather scared of the exams I was about to undertake, In a matter of weeks I left a clearly different person and to crown it all I took the aforementioned exams and did quite well, I'd definitely recommend this efficiently run buisness.The Arora team have a unique style of teaching, they are a group of professionally trained, patient, warm and skilled tutors not to mention a comfortable teaching environment.

Being an IMG it was really difficult to begin my career here in the UK. Since the begining of my journey I have been using Dr Arora's resources . I have used theirs plab 1:1 teaching followed by MSRA , AKT courses , AKT mocks , youtube resources and finally the SCA 1:1 teaching.I was very worried about the SCA exam after listening to my friends who failed on their first attempt. This course really helped me not only in improving my Interpersonal skills but also gave a structure to my consultation and I PASSED on my first attempt. I would highly recommend using Arora's SCA resources to boost your confidence and consulting skills.

I would like to say a big thank you to Arora Medical Academy for the support, teachings and mentorship during my SCA exam preparations which I passed in November this year. A well structured academy. I had 10 days instructions and role playing in different types of clinical cases. There was also touch ups on almost all aspects of the Plab 2 exam. One should treat this academy as a masterclass thus, you would need to have a sound base knowledge to have a better experience. Add-ons, like the online flashcards and red flags, differentials and clinical examinations are super helpful as well. If you need a non scripted approach to the Plab that actually work, then this academy is for you. In summary, money well spent!

I strongly recommend the Plab 2 and NCA courses. I wouldn't have felt prepared for the exams without it. I opted for the in-person course, but there is also an online option. Furthermore, there are online resources such as flashcards provided. The mock exams were also very useful. I'm very glad I chose Arora Medical Education. On the first day I felt very nervous, but by the end I was confident after participating in roleplays, practicing with the SimMan mannikans, and learning the general approach to the stations. They are very encouraging and supportive.

Shallow, covers very few topics per system/specialty. E.g Obstetrics was covered in 30 min. Lacking in quite a number of high yield topics/concepts.
Free sites like zero to finals cover more.
The timestamps don't correspond to the videos so you cannot select a specific topic to review. Not worth GBP 100. I deeply regret as I am primarily a visual learner and chose to invest despite financial shortcomings to ease MSRA revision.

very supportive staff. Respond quickly to any queries and question. Probably been to the academy 2-3 times but I loved how organized and upscale the place was. Only a limited ppl are present at any given time, this prevents over crowding and gives a more appropriate learning environment.
