I had a tooth crack in half on the Monday evening, got an appointment Tuesday afternoon, sorted it there and then with a follow up inspection on the Friday .....excellent service highly recommended.

A feeling of calm and not fear
My dentist Tayo slis quite young but he's been so kind and INCREDIBLY patient in the last 2 years .He knows my fears and is SOOOO gentle and caring and today his dental nurse Edith ,had put my mind at rest before we even GOT into his room. What a lovely lady SHE is and so ' human' , down to earth and friendly .Tayo has such a beautiful personality, he knows I can't afford any of the expensive treatments to improve my teeth but he does what he can to make me feel better about my dodgy teeth. He's got a very soothing voice and TODAY I got a STICKER. .cos I'd been "good" AND a "princess". .I'm nearly 66 and have waited all my life for a sticker .lol The rest of the staff in reception are are kind and helpful and I see how they aren't always treated kindly by the public ..No excuse for that !! This dental practice has been awesome with me over that last 20 years and can't thank them enough .THANKYOU ORADENT .I've always had lovey dentists in that practice and I am a total wuss, absolutely terrified ..even when I'm just there for a checkup but I am conquering that fear thanks to Tayo so it's meant a LOT

Bright clean and friendly reception area. Easy free parking. Welcoming, friendly and professional reception team. Great hygienist, who listened and did a fantastic clean for me. Professional, friendly dentist. Great service all round.

Not happy about having to fill in forms on a pad / check in every time I visit ,why am I doing the receptionist job ? Didn't have to do it at one time, so why now ? Three people behind the desk and I'm the only one typing to book in ?
Got a temporary filling 10 minutes tops £34 in and out,mening another visit .more doing someone else's job booking in !!( self. Checkouts/ self reception nobody will have a job soon, just saying!)
Baffled why if a filling is temporary its even a thing ,why not just fix it once and at the time ,other Than generating income with two visits
So yes 3 stars as only half a job ,other two will follow on completion
Zero professionalism
Zero professionalism from the reception staff. I was standing waiting to pay following my check up and the receptionists were having a personal discussion in front of me whilst I am waiting. There is no courtesy or respect. The dentist even tried to change my appointment earlier by getting reception to call me multiple times throughout the day and to then call me herself, when I was very clear that I could only after 5pm.
My experience has just been appalling over the last year which is disappointing as I have been at this practice for over 20 years. Will certainly be looking elsewhere.

Very professional & polite staff. I had severe toothache phoned and was given an appointment two days later the tooth was extracted. Would recommend them to anyone.

The receptionists always greet with a smile, it isn't my favourite place to visit.

I’m so furious!
I’m so furious!! My daughter did the sign in on the iPad and, like many of us, skim read it as she was under pressure to finish due to a queue of people waiting. At the point of payment the receptionist said we didn’t have to pay for my daughter and could see we were a bit confused. She said it was because the exempt box had been ticked. My daughter is 22 and new to universal credit so had no idea how the exemption payment works. She thought you were exempt if you were in receipt of the benefit. Little did we know we’d later receive a fine of £100 in the post for this error - no chance to explain or contest it - straight to a fine. But the dental receptionists should know exactly how it works and they should know all about this fine. Why then, do they not have clear signs up in the practice to make the most financially vulnerable patients aware of this fine for filling out a form incorrectly? A simple, ‘if you’re not exempt, you’ll receive a hefty fine’ at the point of payment would been enough to safeguard all unsuspecting patients - especially those who are neurodivergent or tech phobic. They have very clear signs up about the carpark fine when you come in, so why not this one? It’s lazy management, poor practice and the fact that they never even acknowledged my email or phone call, says it all - cowards as well. I’ve now left this practice after 50 years.

Thanks to my dentist over the years I have moved from a 'nervous wreck' to a person who attends with confidence and much more knowlefge of my own dental hygiene.
As I walk in to the clean comfortable reception I can now return the smiles with which I am am greeted with my own

Just been there for a check up at Oradent ...excellent service thus far , no complaints with the staff ... my beef is with the electronic sign in ... I am a technophobe any thing to do with the slightest hint of a computer I hate ...
WHY OH WHY do companies force modern crap onto the public ...
This is one of the reasons I do not use the self check outs in a supermarket... if you make a mistake are then "you are to blame"you are then open to prosecution for misuse .. WHAT/WHY do you employ a receptionist.. surely it's what they get paid for ! ?
