Sign-up was fast, though the ID check took two attempts because the photo upload kept failing on my phone. Support replied within a few hours and helped me get it through. I deposited a small amount and requested a test withdrawal after ten days; it landed in my account on the fourth business day, a day later than stated. The dashboard is clean but sparse on explanations. Overall, it behaved fairly, no surprises. I’m keeping stakes low while I learn the ropes.
I set up an account with Ashford Wells after a friend mentioned their portfolio options, and the process was quicker than I expected—documents uploaded, verified within two days. The dashboard itself is genuinely clean, with performance and allocation split into separate tabs rather than crammed together. What niggled me was the follow-up emails, which felt like templates and didn't actually answer the specific question I'd asked about fees. I had to send a second message to get a real response. Returns so far are tracking roughly as illustrated, though it's early days. Decent start, but the communication could be more personal.
Hi Team, I am dealing with Ashfordwells at the moment. Upon attempting withdrawal of funds, I was advised I had to pay 21% commission/taxes etc, prior to the funds being released. I then paid the 21% and now I have been advised additional funds to be released from my trading account which requires payment of another 21% to release any of the funds. This is a costly exercise and payment of that amount is now via crypto ATMs. These payments are upwards of $100k each. Costly exercise if funds aren't being released.
Please explain why all payment methods are flagged as scams....
While checking Ashfordwells.io, I couldn’t independently verify who operates the platform or confirm its authorisation. The site redirected to a www address that I couldn’t access. ScamAdviser lists the domain registration date as 7 July 2026, notes that ownership details are hidden, and gives the site a very low trust score. These points don’t prove fraud on their own, but they are reasons to be cautious with a financial service. I would verify the legal entity and licence with the relevant regulator before sharing personal details or depositing money.
